One of my GFs divorce clients is paying out alimony 34 years after his divorce. They were married for 9 years. He used to be a millionaire, but now has nothing and requires his son to pay the rent. The judge wouldn't end the alimony even though they are both on social security and she has residual income from a pension.

Not really. Most jobs in the military are support. Being a cook in the army isn't signing up for "killing". It might have to come to that if you are attacked moving supplies.

You should check out the sec and relationship subs. I get the overwhelming feeling that they subscribe to this line of thought. I have seen many of threads where people advise the OP to dump a selfish man for not wanting to go down on her, yet when a dude says his GF won't blow him then he needs to respect her boundaries. Men are expected to do what is asked of them no matter their personal feelings. At least that is the impression I get.

Leveling the playing field would help prevent someone getting fucked over for the other person losing interest. If you want to leave because you want to find yourself or bang other dudes, why should I have to continue to support you or lose access to my children? Outside of abuse or other harmful behavior, I shouldn't be coming out of a divorce worse than when I went in.

Don't hate on the south, fucker. Police brutality nor racial profiling are limited to one region of the country. Have a look at the LAPD. They seem to be the most aggressive and racist police force in the nation. In New York City, minorities are overwhelmingly targeted for stop and frisk actions. I'm sure that is all coincidental though.

This isn't a systemic issue. This is a woman who accused a man of.one of the worst felonies on the books to avoid the consequences of infidelity. He was harmed by the simple accusation and she should have to suffer the retribution of a court that is not there to cover her lying ass. Fuck that bitch.

Her action could have landed a person in jail for a decade or longer. This person would then be subjected to all the goodies prison life has around offer. This could include potential rape, almost assured violence, and a felony record. She knowingly subjected a human to one of the worst fates a modern human can suffer. With intent being such a large part of the criminal justice system, she deserves harsh treatment.
