Well you said that you let your passions die after getting the girl - I think this is probably why a lot of relationships and marriages fail - because as soon as the guy thinks he's locked the woman down, he forgets about all his hobbies, stops hanging out with his friends, and the woman becomes all that he has. I don't think this is healthy, and I definitely don't think this is "normal" for men - more likely it's a byproduct of the modern world. I've heard that in older eras when people were mo…

I'd say try to relax and talk more naturally versus worrying too much about doing all the right moves to convince her you're "alpha" and such. I think on first impressions you need to try to present yourself well, but overdoing it to the point of seeming unnatural or rehearsed can backfire, if it ends up seeming like an infomercial pitchman or car salesman. Once you've gotten to know someone you can let down your guard a little - some of the advice out there, such as the "alpha vs beta" advice c…

Hm, not sure - I'd read a book on how to make conversation and be humorous rather than flat and boring. Don't see men who are socially confident as "rocket scientists in conversation" or having the most objectively "exciting lives", usually it seems that they just know a few basic pointers about how to converse with others that shouldn't be too hard to learn. Some book like "How to Win Friends and Influence People", might be a good idea. Maybe a book like "the gentle art of verbal self defense" …

Focus on being in the present and relaxing, worrying about your eye contact or body language is worse since it tenses you up.

Eh, well if I were you I'd question the motive first. If your only reason for wanting more women is an ego thing then it might not be the best Idea. I have heard it said that women care more about "emotional" infidelity than physical infidelity. I wouldn't recommend cheating at all - if you want an open relationship then your best bet would be to be honest about it and your reasons for it - some women might be okay with it, others not. Conventional wisdom is that a woman would "never" be okay wi…

Blame it on the internet generation; social skills have deteriorated so people feel comfortable just "switching" someone off when they don't want to talk to them.

Probably has to do with being in a too serious or "brooding" state of mind, and very little about your physical looks. If you're constantly in a serious or negative state of mind it will show through your body language and come across as dark and creepy. Most likely you should learn to relax, and live more 'in the present' - focus on others' emotions rather than micro-analyzing everything and everyone. What I've noticed myself is that when I "analyze" girls I meet or evaluate them or their looks…

Make sure you're living confidently in other areas of your life like, work, school, hobbies, etc If you're not confident in the other parts of your life and "sex" is all you've got then you'll end up pedestalizing women, and it will be hard to genuinely come across as confident in public if you're not in private anyway. Basically live each day like it is your last.

Well if you have those other things you have plenty to be confident about, so there must be some deeper reason for it. Might want to think about things on a more spiritual level, maybe seek out some self-help literature related more to character development than just "getting stuff". "The Way of the SEAL" by Mark Divine is a good book I'm reading that might be of use. Only thing that comes to mind right away is that I believe everyone needs some real purpose in their life beyond just "money, sex…

I think your view is too black/white. There's other things to take into account such as: *Location - A guy in a larger, more liberal city with a big nightlife scene or a major college will just have more access to lots of women than a guy in a smaller, more conservative town, and women will be more cool with hooking up. *Time investment - In truth the image of some guy being such as "sophisticated player" that he can just walk up to any woman and pick her up is somewhat mythical. In reality unle…

Example of what I mean: The bitch in this video was fired from her medical job a drunken incident with a taxi driver. She "looks good" but her personality is nasty, and I don't think most self-respecting or "alpha" men would bother with her accept as a fuck buddy. Idolizing a woman just because she has "a nice body", when 30 years from now she'll be a shut-in, crazy cat lady when her only redeeming feature is gone is pretty foolish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bvq07KBfhnQ1 Think of a "hot wo…

Yeah this is one problem with the PUA industry. Problem is that it sometimes encourages viewing "hot women" as trophies or as a measure of how great a "player" a guy is. The guy then thinks the "stakes" are higher when it comes to hot women. But it can backfire because if the guy lumps women into 'hot or not' then he does end up pedestalizing the "hot women" and acting more like a social retard around them than he would if they were just "plain" or "average women". I'd say try to avoid idolizing…

Someone who's fun to be around, not jealous or overly competitive I suppose. I used to have more of a selfish jerk mindset; I'd hand out with guys who seemed alright but we were too worried about getting the upper hand over each other so it didn't feel like genuine friendship and I am somewhat to blame, even though I thought of it as just playing around rather than being an actual jerk I realized this ain't the best way to go through life. Probably best IMO to think of your buddies as fellow mem…

Personal opinion - creepy is usually not based on "what you do" but the state of mind you're end. The times when I've looked "creepy" are when I wasn't emotionally in tune with the moment because I was ruminating too much and worrying about "the right word", or "cocky opener", things like that. I think if you're in this state of mind it inevitably feels "creepy" because it comes across as a sleazy car salesman or infomercial pitchmen who has something to hide, or else they wouldn't be "trying so…

Just based on the post, it sounds too much like "nice guy" syndrome. The post talks about "supporting the GF" through problems, trying to be some "perfect" boyfriend, and then feeling you failed as a man because she left you. Sounds like you had too much of a mindset that your role was to be some perfect gentleman and "please" a woman, but I believe this actually backfires since it makes a man seem too submissive and dependent on the woman's approval - less like a "strong man" but more like an o…

Might want to listen to the audiobook "Men are from Venus, Women are from Mars" on Youtube. Just as a rule I think it's better to talk more about feelings or emotions with women, and more about "things" with guys. Guys tend to just talk about hard facts (e.x. how much money they make, sports scores, etc) but I think this tends to bore women; they prefer to talk more about emotions and feelings. Usually it's not the "thing" that's being talked about but the way it's talked about. Just my opinion.

Not sure it ever completely "goes away" since people are hardwired to be a little anxious over talking to strangers. Personally I think having positive experiences seems to work better than just trial and error, quality over quantity. So 10 good conversations with women might actually be better than 100 random approaches which go nowhere or end on a bad note. Also I think mood has a lot to do with it - if you're in a bad mood you'll just be more anxious no matter what; making sure your mood is p…

Eh, probably find a topic you both enjoy talking about. If they're someone you don't know well you could find conventional topics like recent films, TV shows, or anything with a positive vibe versus just boring personal details.

My rule of thumb is that while nothing is totally "black/white", a woman is not going to be attracted to a man she perceives as more feminine than herself. And vice versa. If a guy seems too "lowbrow" or "street" compared to the woman though, this might be a turnoff even if he's dominant, just because people tend to be attracted to people who are culturally relatable to them. For example, I can see average HS girl from an average or lower income family dating a "gangsta" type of guy who's domina…

Well it's normal to be nervous approaching strangers to a degree. Maybe keep up more with news or popular culture such as films and TV so you'll have more generic conversation starters rather than feel like you have nothing to say.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
