Your going to need to sell and get a small very small apartment. The rest can be negotiated. Get a lawyer too.

No, your son is going to always remember who was there for them times. They don't forget. Do it all no matter how shit your ex is. Be there for him. Dude, he'll remember who's been there. Don't bother with a win lose, if your son sees you that's all that matters, now and in the future. And when he gets older, he'll know who the boss was. Stay strong.

Yea, my ex said she smoked pot for her anxiety that I caused her. But she still smokes after she left and moved into my daughter an her boyfriends house. That's where she got her pot from. I think she just got tired of me giving her shit for smoking weed at our house and left where she won't get any hassle cause that's all they do. Fucked up. Anyways fuck her.

My ex stopped drinking and went straight to weed. At first it was a joint a day then towards the end she was buying by the ounce. She was medically retired and 100% va disabled, so home all day doing nothing but smoking cigarettes and weed. By the time i got home from work I didn't know who i would get. Dishes in sink aftwr I cleaned them before work. But I would take her back in a heart beat.

I was married to someone for 24 years and she was diagnosed with bipolar and cptsd 12 years ago. She blindsided me and left 2 months ago. I too think she had a bad manic episode at the time. These last 6 months were very difficult and I guess she had enough. She started smoking alot of pot and I watched her get worse and worse. She wouldn't listen to me towards the end about pot and her mood stabilizers. Divorce sucks.

No, just still on love. And fucked up in the head right now. Stop thinking and feeling like you did something wrong. She did the dirty deed, not you. You can't pretend it didn't happen. You might have neglected her but she chose to find something else. All I can say is you didn't jack your marriage up, she did. Stay strong. Your the man.

Dude, if she cheated on you let her go. That's a deal breaker. Like the guy said, "once a cheater ,always a cheater". You'll never trust her again. You sound like you got your shit together. She may have a mental disorder. Someone who threatens suicide is using it as a way to manipulate you in to forgiving her for what she did. My ex actually attempted suicide twice and then was diagnosed with bipolar 1 and c-ptsd. She left me. Blindsided me, after 27 years together and 24 married this July. Jus…

I just went through this. You have to refi to get her off the title and loan if you keep it or sell and split.

Stop giving them money. They'll get the hint. I'm sorry your in that situation. Save your money and feel bad, instead of giving them money and feel bad.

Refi and buy her out, then rent the other side to pay your mortgage. These interest rates go up and down about every 8 to 12 years. Soon it will be worth more. If you sell you still have to find a place to live asap. Why not refi now and in a year if you can't afford it then sell. Then you have time to look for your own place.

Stay off the drugs. It's only going to piss you off and make you more miserable than you are. Cheating is a deal breaker in my book. You can't forget it. Think of the consequences before you do anything dumb. Stay strong and keep your mind straight. 24 years married. 2 weeks into my divorce. I know it sucks.

First off. Your 3 year old is the best thing in your life. My wife just left me on July 9. My #1 priority is my son. He comes first. I'm sorry for both of us and after 27 years of marriage I'm finding out I'm pretty much useless. I'm still alive and I know my son loves me. He's old enough to decide who he wants to stay with and he chose me for some reason. We both have to be strong for are kids. Even though yours is 3 year old you will totally bond.

Thank you very much. No interest in finding out when or how, it just did. 2 to tango.

I know all about bipolar 1, ptsd, disassociate disorder, blp. She was diagnosed in 2010. I learned all her triggers. In October of last year she started smoking alot of pot because it became legal here in Nevada. I saw her becoming more and more depressed. Pot and antipsychotic meds don't mix. She would get angry and irritated with me when I brought it up.

OP. I'm new to this social media stuff and trying to get the hang it. But I hear you. My bipolar wife of 24 years split on July 9th without any warnings. Blindsided. Or I just didn't see between the lines. I feel like shit. Confused, Surprised and devastated. Fucken no clue what's next. Just walked out and took her close and left. Like she was tired of having any type of responsibility. I dont know whether to hate her or try and find out where it derailed.

I kinda know how you feel. I'm going through this right now. I stopped drinking august 2020, then she walked out. Blindsided me and my son. Went back to the budlights that night. That was my first mistake. I need to be clear and focused for my son. This was the second time she left us. First time was in 2010. She's bipolar along with other mental disorders and it was just to much. I got lazy. Sure, her bipolar was hard to live with. Not knowing when she would become manic or depressed. My life r…

I was also blindsided. She went to stay at our daughter's house to see the grandkids on a Tuesday. Wednesday she called to say she's bringing them over to swim and then I didn't hear from her until Saturday when she came and got her things. 27 years together and 24 married I deserved better then that. I put up with her bipolar 1, depression, ptsd, and her borderline personality disorder. Along with 2 suicide attempts, and about 13 stays at the VA mental hospital. And this just happened July 9. W…

Tell me about it. My wife has bipolar 1. Very difficult to communicate when depressed and didn't listen when manic. 27 years together and 24 married is a hard thing to get over.
