I can't date a smoker tho...I'd never be able to be in their presence because I'd smell it on him.its the most unattractive thing in the world to outside maybe being morbidly obese. I would never be able to cuddle or kiss him...and that would make a shitty relationship. Also I dated a smoker who "quit" for me....he went back to cigs after a month or two... I can be around vape tho no problem...probably because of the lack of smell or the sweet smell.

Yeah when I go to the gym I wear loose baggy t-shirts and loose flowy yoga type pants... My body is hidden behind curtains, but I'm still chubby/fat so I hide it for other reasons

^ exactly! I ment as spontaneous little mini dates. Maybe topped with more effort like a picnic or a trip to a nearby cafe for a light lunch or something. But yes definitely in between romantic nights out and whatnot

The thing is, we would do stuff like that, once we're in a committed relationship! Walks in a park and on the beach is nice with a boyfriend or husband, someone you love and trust. But as a first date... it reeks of "how little can I get away with"

Eh... Simone de Beauvoir is problematic AF. Her and her..."husband" or partners were in open relationships and would groom young (like 15-17 or so) girls for sex with both if them. Just...yeah... Not so good Found that out after I heard her name in a song and looked her up. 😕

Toula from "my big fat Greek wedding" is a good one. In fact, my big fat Greek wedding is basicly how to get a HVM 101. Toula glows up and dates a great man leading to marriage with him. Jocelyn from "a knights tale" is also a HVW. She exudes queen energy and makes William work for her every step of the way. On their first meeting he begged for her name and she was like "and what would you do with my name if you had it? Think of me as a fox, sir hunter for that's all I am to you" Later on in the…

Crafting crafting crafting! Ever since I moved and got settled in my new home ive been crafting like crazy. Making decor for my house. Ive made a few wreaths, one for my cousin, a cat clock for my kitchen ( the kind where the tail wags) I picked back up my cross stitch from late last year and have made great progress. Popped open my computer and made pictures to hang on my wall with Photoshop, made/fixed up Halloween decorations. Etc etc etc! My creative juices are flowing!

Remember ladies, if a guy starts out with "you deserve someone who..." Don't even let him finish his thought. Just cut him off with, "yes I do" and start packing your (or his) shit.

Hmmm.. Go for a night walk around an inner city I guess...that's the most dangerous place I can think of. My neighborhood is so tame I can already walk around it at night if I wanted to. I can't really go braless as I have big boobs and they would sweat... Esp if I was doing any kind of activity. My sports bras are actually good at keeping them up comfortably so that air can get under them! 😥 Outside of grade school bullying I've never been harassed by men that I can remember but then I'm tall, …

Got into an argument with some dudes (on another app) and I even suggested a park date as long as some effort was shown with a picnic and drinks. I thought if the guy brought a telescope to star gaze would be so cute! And of course even that was too much for them. Omg! Should have asked them on which subsequent date after the free "get to know you" date that they would take their girl to Chez Pierre or whatever fancy restaurant... Bet the answer would have been never...

I once thought about going on one of those "walking dates", showing up in my crocks, my sleepware which consists of a vastly oversized old work shirt (complete with paint marks) my super loose type yoga pants, messy bun, sunglasses, no makeup and carrying a Starbucks that I picked up on the way there. But I figured it'd probably backfire and id just waste my time... Still would love to see a guy's reaction to that!

I'm seriously thinking about the next time a guy wants to "hang out" I'll call his bluff and see if he'll come to my house and paint my bedroom. Cause ya'know... We can "hang out" while I get shit around my house fixed up for free... I have yet to see a relationship go from casual and comfy to fancy and formal....its the other way around. Guys want to set the bar low so they can look like a hero just for taking you out on your birthday. Hell I've had my birthday forgotten or downplayed for years…

Its so sad. They sound beautiful and bright like they could get any guy to fall in love yet they put up with un satisfying, painful, and degrading treatment. If 90% of the time I ate out, I got food poisoning... I'd stop eating out!! What's in it for them? Maybe 20 mins of validation from a guy that thinks your hot? These girls need some self esteem. Its so sad...

Yes, but they have to not be attracted to you, and don't expect anything deep. It will be more like an acquaintance than a friendship like you have with your girlfriends. I have a guy I hang out with once in a while. We watch anime and movies and stuff together (he has Netflix I don't) he's helped me with sorting medical bills from my fathers estate so he's a pretty good guy. Has never come onto me so I feel secure. I see him maybe once a month... He'll Txt me maybe 2 times a month just to check…

And what about men that pine for their "one that got away" and brings that into every relationship after? What about their string of ex's and hookups?...geeze ppl have histories and pasts its not like they started existing the min you start dating them... If I had such fond memories and great connections of my ex's I'd still be with them! Obviously something didn't gel and we're not together anymore.

Most are silly, but some really do make you think and consider things. It can lead to moral/philosophical discussions. Like some are money related, or personality related. A lot of times finding out why they chose that answer over the other can bring up flags good or bad by sparking a discussion.

I've found women videos for reclaiming your feminine energy. Adrienne everheart is a lil older and there's a few poc gals in there too! I remember many moons ago seeing a sex education type videos (not pornographic, just talk) hosted by two older hippy chicks. I couldn't find them later...they might have gotten nuked by YouTube. :( but the one EPs I remember was how they were talking about how hard it was for them to orgasam, and they gave little tips and tricks on how to do it during sex.

Yeah I've been feeling this. I'm off any dating sites, there's no men in my social circles that I'm even remotely interested in, and the last 2 guys that showed interest in me were long distance and I couldn't get excited about them at all. I've always preferred men with a lower body count. I dunno where the myth that women want an "experienced guy" I.e. a guy that's had numerous sexual encounters. I'd take a guy that only had a few ltr's and ~maybe~ 1-2 hookups over a guy with dozens of hookups and like 1, 5 month long relationship. To me a man that has lots of casual sex tells me he'll never be happy with one girl, he could have a few babies out there waiting to pop out of the woodwork, and a high chance of some sort of std. I've…

4 months is crazy fast, I prefer around 1.5-2 years. That's 2 birthdays, 2 christmas, 2 summers, 2 valentines days etc. I feel that's enough time to get to know someone. 1st v-day he may go all out but by the 2nd he'll be very comfortable and you can judge if he's slipped by then...you know? People tend to look at what they find attractive, men and women alike. I said there's a difference between a quick glance at a handsome guy walking by, and I mean glance as in your eyes fall on his face/body for a few seconds. Vs turning your head to follow him as he walks past, eyes locked on, ogling... Etc. I have looked at handsome men while with a bf. But not in the leering, gross, obvious way. Just a quick glance and then I moved on. I doubt they even noticed...

I do think it is a biological instinct but one that you can control. There's a difference between glancing at a pretty woman and ogling another woman in front of your SO. Come on dude...you're past the monkey stage...act like it.

Can you get a couple girlfriend's together and make going to the gym a girls day thing? Replace the negative emotions associated with the gym with positive ones. Like, do the gym and then a spa or get some food or something. Like sandwich the gym with other things so that you're too busy to be in your own head about it. Make a day of it. And if you can, see if some of the girls can meet you on the regular at the gym for workout sessions together.

I think that because you're not trying to date him you're just being a friend and an ear to vent to. Just don't do anything more than listen and sympathize. Let him start any of that talk, but keep it surface lvl and maybe not any phone calls/texting. Anything more than that is psychologist territory and he can seek that out for himself.

I get such a rush of acomplishment when I install or fix something in my house. I still have to hire handy men for a lot but every new project I learn to do at least one thing new! Last week I installed a new handle and deadbolt on my front door. I've spakled holes in walls, installed curtain rods, built a bed, couch, and TV stand I got in the mail, painted entire rooms... I've also been maintaining my lawn and replaced my break light! Go me! 😁

Sadly its mainly going to take time and distance. Block him on all social media and try and avoid him as much as possible. Remember, he made your brain make the feel good chemicals... So find someone/thing else (friends, family, new dates,hobbies,exercise... etc) that will also make those feel good chemicals. And over time he will fade. You are going through withdrawal right now. Best course of action is to deal with your emotions but also divert your attention to your own life.

I have/had guy friends no problem, but I'm not an attractive looking woman and I tend to be "the funny girl" so I think I fall into the 'just one of the guys' mindset for them. That's how I know 'its all about personality that's what matters' doesn't hold water for guys...if they aren't attracted to you physically then youre just a friend. Ive actually been friend zoned before! I'm still friends with him and even crash on his couch sometimes...no problems. But I'm over him too...he's pretty LV.

Dumb fox = play dumb. Something like "Oh I didn't hear from you all week so I wasn't sure were were still on for Thursday.. Maybe next time" Then he will either get his shit together and try again making sure you know a day before...or he'll give up on you which means he didn't care that much.

Lately, because I just got a house, I've thrown myself into small easy home improvement projects. One thought that always helps me is, he makes your brain produce those happy feel good chemicals, go out and find something else that also makes your brain produce those happy feel good chemicals. Be it a hobby, exercise, spending time with family or friends, or even another guy... (I.e. dating, but don't get too attached, hence the dating multiple men strategy) last one is on hold obviously....
