It doesn’t. She has a strawman and really wants to die on this hill. She doesn’t want men to judge women, which will never happen, just like men who don’t want judging them will never happen. This whole post is a nothing burger. When you posted a cogent rebuttal, she changed the goal posts to describe a micro culture of trolls on the internet…the argument was never strong to begin with.

That was a bad typo - was supposed to say “18-27”.

This is what happened for me, although was consistently getting dates and relationships in my 20’s already. 30 y/o give or take a couple years is a great place to be.

I’ve had a higher number of women age 18-27 y/o hit on me in my 30’s (current age) and couldn’t tell you why, so will default to the top comment. If you didn’t do well in your 20’s, your 30’s and 40’s likely won’t enhance anything for you.

Never labeled you as anything, that’s not my bag. Just saying you seem like an angry young man who has a problem with women. It sounds like a miserable existence to me. Never understood the point of the whole gender war thing, but you do you.

As a fellow man, you sound exhausting. Not everything you said is wrong, but it’s clear that you have a major problem with women.

You can talk to someone and not be hitting on them. I don’t think conversing with the opposite sex should qualify as cheating. If you’re giving out phone numbers and secretly texting and such, that’s a whole other story though.

This is honestly my reaction - not even sure what to say to a statement like this. Some people are best suited being alone.

Joint, not primary, and rarely sole - even when warranted. It’s an uphill battle in many states and not every guy can afford such a legal battle when already losing so many financial resources going through divorce to begin with.

What’s there to google? You made an absolute statement that is complete bollocks. Many men aren’t given the choice to “take the kid” when there’s a split because they aren’t allowed to despite spending a fortune fighting it in Family Court…but I’m not going to google it for you.

So only the anecdotal evidence supporting your argument makes sense, that’s rich…and hypocritical.

People don’t enjoy accountability in this current victim culture. I recall first getting burned when I was a sophomore in college by a girl who I really cared for. It sucked, but I eventually got over it and learned from the experience. Truth be told, she owed me nothing as we weren’t committed. I also owed her nothing when she reached out to me 2 months later when I had already moved onto someone else.

OP framed the issue as a “women’s issue”, committed by unscrupulous men. The truth is, all genders do this, and it’s hardly novel, nor is it news. It’s great that you don’t need advice because I don’t need this obvious truth pointed out - casual sexual encounters can result in lousy treatment. You can acknowledge reality and do nothing about it or acknowledge reality at face value and take action to protect yourself - I know what choice I’ll be making, feel free to do what you like.

Getting a good read on someone takes time - red flags become apparent with more time spent and interaction. It’s why the risk is reduced by waiting. Even in casual situations, I always preferred to wait until at least the 2nd date to feel them out. If I didn’t do that and went for it the first time we hung out, I just accepted that I shouldn’t expect any common decency or have any expectations in the situation at all. It sucks it has to be that way, but such is life. People who aren’t committed …

If you want to have casual sex before knowing someone - it’s a risk, plain and simple. People show their true colors with time. It doesn’t mean you have to play house and take the dude’s dog to the vet with him. It means wait a couple dates to feel him out or accept the risk that he might suck as a human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 12:47 PM

I full heartedly agree as that is how I wish to be treated by women. As a realist, I just know it won’t play out that way in a causal setting and adjust my expectations and actions accordingly to protect myself. I’d advise anyone of any gender to do the same - dating, whether casual or long term is crazy these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 11:41 AM
8

Why would you have such high expectations for casual? The definition literally implies no commitment. Someone who lacks commitment has no obligation to care and in many instances, won’t. If you want higher level treatment, there’s always going to be a vetting process and a time to get to know your partner, which takes time - and that’s regardless of gender. It has been my experience as well while dating women. Like it or hate it, I’m realistic with my expectations which is why I quit doing casua…

Wait a date or two to weed out the users with agendas and this will make at least 80% of this problem go away, likely closer to 90%. If you’re hooking up straight away, it could potentially still work out, but it’s a much higher risk that you end up with the type of guy who is just looking for something casual/doesn’t care or invest in you. Speaking as a guy, the inverse has been true as well, which is why I always wait a couple days and get to know the person first or else I find that I’m likel…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 11:00 AM

It’s not that simple - people have different values and we tend to like people who are similar to us. If you’re a guy who has a lot of causal sex, hooking up with a girl that has a similar mindset is standard business and vice versa, etc.

You’re close - the men that get angry that you make them wait a few dates are only after one thing, and you’ve just weeded them out, which is a good thing. 99% don’t want a woman with a high body count, that part is spot on.

Same here, finding reasonable opinions on here is far and few between…it’s why I tend to stay out of these forums unless I’m in a really boring meeting at work or something, ha.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 08:05 PM

Agreed on that point too - I think people who participate in this gender war stuff are just so jaded at this point that they immediately jump into “fight mode”. It’s exhausting and a waste of energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 07:23 PM

Completely agreed, but many people on these forums chastise men for having standards with respect to number of past sexual partners, for example. I think everyone should get to reject potential suitors for any reason they deem fit. The unfair standard gets applied against women as well for rejecting men, so it seems to be on both sides. I suspect people act this way because they’re not satisfied in their personal lives or having zero luck with dating.

I’ve only stayed in relationships with high libido women. They do exist, just like low libido men exist. People just need to find their match and work on providing the right atmosphere and connection.

Exactly, nothing should ever be reverse burden of proof.

You have stated nothing because you haven’t quantified when your “solution” has been met. Earlier, you stated it doesn’t have to be 100% of men, but now, you continue to evade quantifying when your conditions are considered to be met. Essentially, your conditions will never be met, you already know this, so your “solution” was disingenuous to begin with. If I’m wrong, quantify when your conditions will be met and some rationale behind the number. All we know right now is that “100% is not the co…

Then your premise is false to begin with and you have no intention of ever stopping this behavior. Why not simply admit you enjoy being prejudiced against men? It would’ve saved a lot of debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 06:01 PM
2

You’re being evasive. What number or proportion needs to be attained before your condition is met? Also, I reject your entire premise here - I’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t know what rape is. People know exactly what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:57 PM

Yes, those people are trash - doesn’t change my argument though. A small proportion of a sub cultural group does not represent the much larger group. It’s true in anthropological studies and it’s true here. Anyone who justifies SA another human being is a sexual deviant who probably needs to be behind bars…they’re sick in the head.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:52 PM
4

Exactly how many men have to stop blaming victims before your condition is met? Is it frequency related, a nominal number, or a proportion of then population? You already stated is not every man under the sun, but won’t give us a real number or standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 05:43 PM
13

Yes, just like some people commit murders and other various violent crimes, but those examples are not indicative of the behavior of an entire class of people…thinking in such a way is the very definition of bigotry. Btw, any guy stating they have to resist urgent to not SA someone due to evopysch reasons is a complete POS…those freaks do not represent us.

I would strongly suggest getting a STD screening before you eat her.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 12:48 AM

For sure, because it would be sad. Feel free to agree or disagree, but most would agree with me on this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 02:47 PM

To each their own, but the optics are terrible, you have to admit that. Anytime that guy leaves town on a business trip, his partner is wondering what he’s really doing with all his down time.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 02:34 PM

No, paying for sex from a prostitute does.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 02:31 PM

I wouldn’t judge a woman or anyone else for casting judgement for doing this. Maybe it’s not kind, but it’s honest. It’s a level of pathetic many aren’t willing to deal with, like people who pay for Only Fans and the like.

Dude, get therapy. Not all relationships end poorly. And even if they do end, they can still be far more valuable than a paper-thin FWB situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 10:15 PM

For sure they should - if you’re a man who’s paid for sex, you’re a degen. I only have a couple friends who have ever done this, and I tell them to take that secret to their grave - no self respecting woman would look past that in a man’s history.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 09:34 PM

I tend to agree here - if you’re unsatisfied, you’re likely qualifying the sex to be below average anyways though and that’s a deal breaker. Enthusiasm makes everything better.

As I get older and gain more experience, I’m seeing how true that really is. Average sex with an amazing woman > amazing sex with a below average woman if you’re looking to settle down.

I’ve never used a dating app in my life, but people keep telling me I should give it a go. At the moment, I’m seeing a healthy, well adjusted girl with long term potential. The sex is average, but she brings other things to the table I care about (after all, you need something to talk about when your clothes are on). I’ve been slowly coaching her up in the bedroom, so we’ll see where that leads.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/26 03:47 PM

I wish - the healthy, well adjusted girls that actually know what they’re doing in the bedroom are unicorns. The typical best case scenario is average/mediocre sex. Many women think they’re good in bed just because most men are merely happy to get laid to begin with…they can literally lay there and do nothing and get texts to meet up with a guy again. That said, the game changes with cougars who are divorced. If a woman is back on the market at 35-45 y/o and still looks physically attractive, sh…

Nah, it goes for relationships too. The healthy relationship with a girl who has a good family, degree, and the ability to respectfully communicate without yelling or resorting to pejoratives? That girl can’t fuck.

The issue there is, it seems all the crazy ones are the ones who are good at sex.

As wonderful as the Asian ethnicity is, their ability to grow a beard vs not grow a beard is irrelevant to this topic as the ability to (typically) do so is a sex specific trait and not a sex-defining strait. It’s as simple as that. Hormones can do crazy things. Too much DHT? Go bald. Not enough Testosterone? Don’t grow a full beard. There have been rare occurrences of men lactating due to hormone imbalances. I was never at any point claiming a billion people were abnormal, stop playing the race…

You just proved my point - it’s cultural preference, not sexual deviance. There are parts of the world where men could care less about a woman shaving…and some of those men whom enjoy the company of hairy women can still be sexual deviants.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:15 AM

Growing a beard is a male-specific sex trait, not a male-defining sex trait. I never stated lacking the ability to grow facial hair proves that someone isn’t an adult…I stated the fact to show how the association and therefore cultural preference was created to begin with. Facial hair growth hinges on androgen hormones (testosterone or DHT), so it is hormone related, but that hormone specific abnormality is gene-related. I saw that 35% statistic as well, but it simply states around this proporti…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:10 AM

If you’re talking about specifically toxic men, then sure, bad actors exist. It isn’t the norm though, most men aren’t inherently creepy just like most women aren’t inherently creepy. If you’re talking about older guys specifically only wanting 18 years, then sure - their intentions are 10/10 not pure, either sexually or in the manipulative sense. If we’re talking about older guys wanting 25 y/o women, I think that’s perfectly in bounds if they’re looking to build a family or they took longer to…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 09:50 PM

That’s honestly reasonable, and I hope you find him. I was once engaged to the female version of this and was never happier. People who fit this mold seem to be a dying breed 🙃
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 08:14 PM

I think most partners would elect to date partners whom are more agreeable in general, regardless of age. All else equal, I’d take a 31 y/o attractive woman who I get along with and can actually carry a conversation over a 19 y/o modelesque woman who is a brat or a total airhead. Also, a few comments you read anecdotally doesn’t mean the majority of men think this way. Do you really think women don’t exist who enjoy the company of younger, attractive men? I’ve dated a few who exclusively date yo…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 08:12 PM

It’s not quite that simple, most men associate hairiness with masculinity for the basic fact that men are typically naturally hairier than women. Beards on men a naturally occurring sex trait in our species, for example and very few women will ever grow chest or back hair. The same basic premise applies to why girls like taller guys. But does that mean women who prefer or date short kings are attracted to prepubescent men? Of course not. You’re finding correlation without causation.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 08:05 PM

Using this logic, any man who isn’t attracted to hairy legs and hairy armpits is a sexual deviant. If that were actually true, the vast majority of western men would fall into that category.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 07:55 PM
1

Many of my female friends refuse to date guys with a hairy chest and a few will never date a guy with a beard. A few refuse to give oral sex to a guy who doesn’t shave down there…none of them are pedophiles. This is such a fake argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 07:52 PM

Most men in Asia have the ability to grow beards, this isn’t a real point. A very small proportion of the population have such low testosterone and genetics that allow for this phenomenon. The point being made here is that men and women both have hair grooming preferences and having such preferences doesn’t make them sexual deviants. A girl once asked me to wax my chest - I simply found someone else to date as I was never going to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 07:49 PM

It’s a complicated topic because people inherently have different values. A conservative, ultra religious guy might label someone who isn’t a virgin a slut - obviously, your values don’t align with this guy’s values, and you’re happy to not waste your time on such a man who needs a serious reality check. FWIW, I did have such a conversation with my one conservative friends who works for the church, but also is generally a chill guy who is fun to have a beer with and watch the game. He let a grea…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 11:11 AM

The vast majority of people have a number, and most guys don’t want a virgin. It really goes to the reasonable person standard at a certain point, which does admittedly vary person to person. Is it reasonable for a 30 year old woman to have 12 previous partners in her lifetime? Absolutely. What if a 25 year old woman has been with 50 previous men? That’s going to scare away many potential suitors based on personal values. That said, there’s someone for everyone. I’m friends with a girl who got m…
