Not just financially. How’s your life going to actually be: where will you live? are you ok with seeing your kids (if you have them) half the time? how will you spend your free time? are you capable of actually taking care of yourself? are you actually prepared mentally? are you at the point when you know with zero doubts you don’t like your wife and who she are you ok with blowing everything up in your life and really starting from ground zero? If you don’t answer yes to all of these - you’re n…

Don’t just listen to your PCP. They’re going to go by the “normal” range of 264+. This was lowered from around 350 a few years ago. Get a specialist. I was 278 a year ago, 290 in October and 345 now. My PCP didn’t give a f shit. Free T was 11 and now 13. I went to a Florida clinic that specializes and it’s “yeah no doubt you need it - you should be 700-800 with free T min of 20”.

Based on this response you are in no way prepared to make this decision. I’ve recently struggled with a decision to separate or not. I’ve recently struggled with a decision to separate or not. But the thought process was completely different than what you laid out here. 1) kids can’t maintain this unhealthy environment, what’s the best path forward to get them in a healthy one? 2) is my wife a net positive or net negative to my mission, happiness, and goals? 3) is my wife the person I want to sh…

Three months is NOT enough to go through all the stages after sixteen years. With separation and such. What do you want to do? Do you want to separate? Do you want to stay and work on yourself and see if you can get the relationship you want with your current wife? Do you like her? Is she even capable at her best of giving you what you want? We can’t answer these questions for you. This is your decision and your decision alone. Edit: three months is NOT enough

Stop telling your wife about health shit. If you feel bad - don’t complain or whine to her. Focus on yourself. Need some rest? Go get it. Need exercise. Go do it. If she’s a valueable FO then she’ll likely notice you aren’t at 100% and instead of shit testing you actively work to make your life better and take care of you - whatever that looks like. But don’t expect this of her or act like she’s your mommy.

Think on why this bothers you so much. So she accused you of cheating? So what. Something about this bruised your ego and you DEERd like a motherfucker. Given your history and situation I do not think it’s comfort seeking from her at all. It’s a shit test and her tactic to put you back in her box. Cease the texting over this stuff. Just ignore the texts or “we will talk about this face to face”.

I know this is often a resounding “no”, but are there any scenarios where a 2nd chance is worth it? No. You’re creating reasons and excuses to stay. She cheated... by your own admission and rules for your life the marriage is over. But now you invent reasons to stay with her? Go see a lawyer and see where you really stand with custody.

Eventually you see the beauty when she’s angry or pissed or testing you. Always remember she wants you to move her emotions. And if you can’t do that, then STFU. The worst thing you can do is engage her at a rational/logical level. It’s never about what she’s saying.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
