It's a shame how just one or a few mods can ruin an otherwise promising community.

Well said. I agree, and I'm glad this sub exists. Mensrights is full of angry, immature guys, kinda like the male equivalent of the TwoX subreddit. MensLib is so cartoonishly sanitized that I'm convinced it's only performative for the women reading, who want sycophantic men to parrot back their own anti-men opinions to them. Or write the long-winded essay about Marvel movies that doesn't matter to anyone lol. It's really important for guys to have a leftist space that's genuinely progressive, wh…

I absolutely loathe ICE and Greg (and his thugs) deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison. That said, I also hate this line of attack on him. You're also bullying every other short guy when you do this, and driving them to the political right.

Maybe, but tbh, I got the impression that Cenk understands on some level how Ana has become something of a grifter, but his close personal friendship with her stops him from being objective about it

It really seems like something in Ana's brain broke within the last few years. Either she's knowingly grifting now, or there was a gas leak in the TYT studio. I followed TYT pretty closely from about 2012-2020 and I always loved Cenk and Ana alike. But Ana seems to have lost the plot in a lot of ways, and cares a lot more about online drama than anyone should.

This seems like a really self destructive thing to keep track of. I assume that most blind, broad negativity online is either from bots or bored kids.

Yes, both that, and trans men not really being the focus of any media, seems to be even more evidence that most people just don't care about men in the way they do women.

This is a good question, I hope we get responses from a variety of trans men. Unfortunately their experiences are so often unheard from so it's hard to know if any specific account is indicative of real trends or not. That's a problem with any relatively unheard from group

Can you elaborate on these conversations you have? I'm not accusing you of lying but tbh it sounds pretty fan-fiction-y the way you described it. I totally agree on your point about sexist generalizations being universally terrible. Thanks for working with and helping trans men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
