1 - I still don't get it, but look at it this way. Unless you feel like people are using you, just be nice to them and give them what they want if it's not much work for you, no harm in that. 2 - The whole idea of guarding your reputation deals with a lot bigger shit than this. Imagine some girl going around telling people that you raped her, or a former employer telling people how you always fucked up at work. In these cases, get a lawyer. If it's just minor bullshit like what you're describing…

This has nothing to do with guarding your reputation. 1 - If this email can't hurt you, just fucking give it to them, where is the issue? You're just coming off as a dick here for no good reason. 2 - Shut the fuck up about trp in public. What did you think was gonna happen? These situations have nothing to do with guarding your reputation. You could have avoided both of them by not being a dumbass in the first place.
