OP that is gorgeous. I love opals. That’s so sweet and generous of your neighbor to do so.

It’s in storage as in my storage totes with my other items like bandaids, not a paid for storage unit. I’m in between two locations so no I don’t have access to read the expiration dates at this very moment. I recently bought two Plan B pills when the pandemic started early this year. So no they are not old pills.

The pills are in storage so I don’t have access to the printed expiration dates. I definitely know they lose potency over time but they are still a good backup. I personally would take the pill no later then a day after. The pills are not just for me but if a friend needed them as well. I’m not in a current relationship so I’m not having sex frequently. But yes I do know about the ovulation issue. Pregnancy scare for me is when the condom breaks which has happened before. I know IUDs are 99% eff…

I’ve know this since I was a child. Men are very calculating and throw that projection into women. My father told me since I was old enough to understand how calculating, manipulative, and horrible men can be. Which is why I take birth control and access to safe abortion very seriously. Apart of my prepper pantry is a serious stock of condoms and plan b pills as back up for my IUD. I don’t take random pregnancy scares lightly!

You know I remember years ago as a preteen. I was visiting my mothers side of the family and at breakfast my Uncle found a photo of a topless girl on my cousins phone. He was so mad and disappointed and reprimanded him in front of everyone and explained how he would not tolerate that with his sons.

Every man is not meant to pass on his genes or continue his bloodline. It’s not a right but a privilege to do so. Women are not vessels for men’s seed but are the utmost pinnacle of creation and destruction of the life cycle.

I dunno. I may be on the unpopular opinions on this but I don’t the issue with this. From my perspective it seems cute if done every once in a blue moon. It’s fine to admit relationships can get stale or monotonous sometimes. Not that you love your partner any less but some people have their ways of adding spice or magic back into it.

I would just say decorating not appearances. Frankly the word “womanly” wouldn’t come to mind. I would call it homely decorating. I hate poutporri and decorative towels in bathrooms. Reminds me of my grandmas house.

There’s no way a woman wrote that. I enjoy all of those activities but would never have phrase that under the statement it’s “womanly” things. Nope, I don’t phrase helping family and loved ones as caretaking in normal conversation. Sounds very occupational. Using the word Appearances when you can just say you like having a beauty routine or dressing up, sounds like something a man would say. Cooking and cleaning and being into your appearance are not “womanly” things. HOW you approach those area…

I completely understand you. I don’t consider male gynecologists and the one time that I did I regretted it. It was uncomfortable and I didn’t get the care and consideration I’m used to. That is absolutely heartbreaking. This is why I don’t even entertain certain men. They only want sex and when the outcome is a baby they could care less of you live or die during childbirth. I’m so relieved to hear that her mother was there for her as her advocate

OP I’m happy you did what you needed to do for your best interest! I’m on the opposite end though. I wanted to be on birth control since college. I was on my father s insurance plan and the only way he would agree was once I finished my studies. I did that and as soon as I graduated I made an appointment for the copper IUD. I rarely ever believe men in this issue. They don’t receive custody because of the courts or sexism. It’s because of their lack of trying. My Dad received full custody of me as a baby. If you go by generalizations most people would claim judges would side with mothers especially on young babies. But my father proved to be the more fit and stable parent.

I had an ex like that. He had some good and bad traits but I will never forget the way he always looked at me. Always had Puppy eyes and although he’s a frowner he would smile when we he saw me. Smiled at me as if I was magic. That left a lasting impression on me. I think the sweetest thing he’s ever said to me was I was like a beautiful muse to him. Which applied very well since he was on his way to being a successful artist and was brilliant at 2D and 3D work.

As relationships progress pay and income levels do change and fluctuate. What you want to make sure is the man you are evaluating is if he is ambitious. Ambitious men have goals and are always striving for the next level. The field the man is in and his age and ambition level will let you know what salary or income cap he may face. I read somewhere that age 35 is when a lot of people hit their cap in the field they are in salary or income wise. Not that it’s impossible but it’s a good indicator …

The biggest and most impactful decision you can ever make in your life... is deciding who you will lay down with and have kids. Think about that. Because you have to take maternity leave, breastfeeding, and those baby/toddler years into account. I know that I read somewhere gender pay gap stems a…

I thinks that’s probably one of few things I probably may have an opposing opinion on. I use the 1-10 rating scale and I don’t see a problem with it. Ive used it with girlfriends sometimes when checking out guys. But it’s for common use. Most times mentally I just go pass or yes, if I see a guy and rate on the attractiveness scale.

He definitely was a pickmeisha. But he still deserved way better. The night Jessica recanted on his proposal to keep seeing Barnett’s, he should have made an exit and be done. I’ve also only seen two episodes so that’s where I am in the series so far.

I normally don't watch these type of shows but I love this couple so much! Cameron was just so smitten with Lauren and ready! The fact that any women actually fell for Barnett and his a**hole tendencies is beyond me. The guy was so wishy washy and loved making the women compete for his no existent love and commitment. Jessica is also an a**shole and was horrible to Mark. Mark deserves wayyy better. Kinda reminds me of Carrie with Big vs Aiden. Team Aiden!

Men are as only faithful as their options allow.

I think going forward a lot of us may need to re-evaluate our friendships and the purpose some people serve in our lives. I have been told by family, friends, and especially coworkers that I have high standards and I’m particular. I believe my standards are normal but relative, although yes I am particular. However, they don’t fuss with me about said standards and actually recommended people for me based on said standards. When people start to argue with you and call you picky it’s because A. th…

Ya know. One of the things I can say I have yet to do is feel any sympathy for men. I’ve had a few male coworkers who absolutely fall under the nice guy category but I never took pity on them. I just chalked it up to the cards they were dealt and how they fold them.

I know exactly how you feel OP. Where I lived before (a major city on the East), there is a big community of Caribbean immigrants. I hated grocery shopping with my grandmother in certain places because the men have no tact. The men look with hungry predatory stares and it’s unnerving. Its especially true of the older men in their 30s and up who do this. I started shopping only at major American grocery chain stores and it’s like night and day.

I think mentioning you have another date with someone else is tacky and most likely a manipulative tactic. It’s one thing if a guy has a busy schedule and another to directly mention he is dating other women to you. He wants you to become competitive and feel more vulnerable and see him as a prize. I would say “oh how nice, I’m doing the same as well. May the best man win” with a wink 😘

That’s a good video. A book I recommend on dating strategy is the Art or Seduction. It really breaks down different seductive qualities and characteristics people have and how they are used. The author specifically mention that women are weak for words and that’s how men like Don Juan charm women.

💯 agree I would also like to add women should rarely take relationship advice from men even when you consider them a friend. 99.9% it’s advice that will benefit the man and not their fellow woman friend. I’m apart of a lot online boards and I noticed women really take heed to male advice even when it’s not necessary. I can’t count how many times I’ve read the statement: well I asked my male friend, colleague, brother-in-law, neighbor, etc. Personally the only relationship advice I take in consid…
