How long have you been on BC for? Dryness is a side effect.

Fascinating Womanhood. Seriously a game changing book for me.

I used to play The Sims 3 but all I would do is build the house and play for a few days and get bored haha. But I spent forever building the houses. 😳

GuruGossip is one of my faves! And I feel like it's just unbecoming I guess, my boyfriend noticed I lurk on these sites and I hope he doesn't think badly of me for it but he assures me he doesn't, I'm just worrying for no reason I suppose. :S

It makes me more grateful too actually! I'll read something about how inconsiderate their partner is or the terrible stuff they've done and it just makes me appreciate my boyfriend a million times more. Or the posts where their partner has a disease or died or something. :( It always makes me go hug my boyfriend immediately. Maybe I just need to think I'm not interested in drama and more interested in human nature? 😇

Anyone here seen Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them yet? The character Queenie isn't exactly RPW but she is so charming and feminine!

Well, I agree with half of the other things she said, so I'll be civil. ;)

I think childfree (by choice, not infertility or other health issues) women are a plague to society, selfish, and something is medically and mentally wrong with them. Childfree people also tend to be incredibly immature, irresponsible, and self-centered - typical millennial garbage. These women can't think of anything but themselves and are too lazy to be mothers. Crazy cat and dog ladies. (I love animals myself and I have a bunch, but they are NOT a replacement for children and they are nowhere…

The corgi/golden retriever mix reminds me of Dug from UP!! Too cute!

We had been seeing each other for about two months, but had only officially been a couple for about three weeks (so about 10 weeks in, I believe). He said it first (it actually kinda slipped out!) when he was leaving for the night and I said it back without thinking, it was just so natural. It still gives me butterflies thinking about it! A lot of people said it was too early for us but we had an amazing connection from the moment we met... like the second I met him, I just knew and so did he. :…

We met by drawing naked people together. ;) (Figure drawing class in college. I was late and the only open seat was next to him.)

Oh, this is wonderful advice! I lived in an apartment for a year and a half with no TV and it was peaceful, but after moving back to my parent's house temporarily (where they watch TV all the time!) I find myself wasting away on the couch watching Guy Fieri and Family Feud. :/ I get so sucked in. I need to make watching only programs that I haven't seen before and are actually educational/interesting a goal. As for social media, I still love Twitter but I have reduced the time I spend on it vast…

"Why are you single?" Because I'm crazy. I saw this on Twitter a few weeks ago and I pray it is fake. I cannot believe women like this actually exist.

Wow, you brought up a lot of wonderful points I did not think about! Any behavior can have a positive or negative root motivation that drives a person to engage in said behavior. When the root motivation is "I must or things will fall apart"/"I must because he's incapable" - then that woman is not being motivated by a sense of love, gratitude, or selflessness. I think you hit the nail on the head here. I commented about struggling to find the balance between being a good First Mate and mothering…

Haha, I get this! Sometimes I will see my boyfriend looking kind of upset and ask him how he is, and he will say he was just completely zoning out and everything's fine. Oops!

Thank you for your explanation! I'm saving your post, it's really helpful. My boyfriend can be forgetful so I'm always worried I'm mothering when I remind him to do/bring something, but he always thanks me and seems relieved that I remembered.

My boyfriend's is also acts of service! This makes me feel a lot better about doing certain things for him. :) Thank you!

Another fantastic article from Laura Doyle. I particularly liked how she debunked Myth #6 and the example she gave. Not every conflict has to end in a compromise. I would like to pose a question to you ladies regarding Myth #1: Where is the line between being his wife and mothering him? What “helpful” things feel more like mothering to men than being a good First Mate? I feel as though I sometimes struggle with this and would like your opinions!

This is a perfect example of how raising our Captains up, respecting, and appreciating them can affect a potentially bad situation. :) You handled that like a pro. It is wonderful that you were able to step back from your immediate feelings and not say something rude.

The Good: This week was really the first week I stepped it up to be more RP. He noticed within two days! Funny enough, the day I started he shaved his beard, so he was accusing me of being nicer because I like him better without his beard, LOL! Ever since he noticed, he has been even more playful and cuddly, which I didn't know was possible. And, apologies for getting NSFW up in here, our sex has been fantastic and very varied! Usually it gets a little routine but this week it was so good. :) I …

Ooh, I've always wanted to learn to knit! I learned the basics of crotchet awhile ago but I think I might've forgotten them by now. I wanted to learn cross-stitch but I think learning to knit would be more functional. Thank you for the recommendation!

I just wear cute lounge pants and one of his old shirts. No makeup because when I get sick I get super sick and there is no hiding it! I will usually shower at least twice a day when I'm sick to help clear things up and not feel gross. My boyfriend doesn't really care that I'm sick but make sure you take care of any gross tissues and, if you're throwing up, turn on the water so he doesn't have to hear it. (That is, if you can.) Ponytails are also good for this situation. Just make sure to clean …

Laura provides such great advice - and at such a relevant time for me too! I struggle a lot with feeling ignored when my boyfriend is playing video games. He's not ignoring me - I'm just not doing anything so I want him to pay attention to me! This article was a great reminder that I need to make myself busy and pay attention to my hobbies and what makes me happy. Thank you for sharing this!

Oh, that is so adorable! Congratulations on your wonderful relationship. :) My boyfriend is the goofy type so he's rarely being serious, but in those moments where he will pull me close at night and whisper to me that I'm everything to him and that he'll love me forever... I die! He also makes up silly songs about me talking about all the good traits I have and calling me the most beautiful girl in the world. It seriously makes me melt. ♡

78% Feminine, 8% Masculine... It was the swearing that got me! I gotta work on that. I'm actually surprised at my feminine percentage. I thought it would be a lot lower.
