Also there are consequences to marrying someone before getting to know them. People act like all the consequences of marriage are one sided but they effect both parties. Also a two might be able to get married tomorrow but to what quality of partner? Ive noticed that a lot of people today have an inflated view of what the think they deserve in dating. Dating is not complicated. People over complicate it.

This is just my opinion as someone who has seen a husband go after another woman. Also think about the example of the lady who called herself the wizard Lizz on youtube who was pregnant and the man cheated. He may not have left her but he sure did ruin what they had or the wife guy, Ned from the try guys, he didnt leave her either but he sure did ruin his marriage by sleeping with his producer. Thats why I think husband's dont leave they just sabotage. I think thats because we would say the husb…

I agree. I'm just saying be careful. I've heard so many horror stories online.

Also, safety, how well should you get to know someone before you go to an isolated location with them? Just food for thought...

I agree but also, just food for thought, attractive men are viewed with more suspicion that they are going to cheat or be players. I mean all things come with their advantages and disadvantages. It may be harder for a decent woman to take you seriously if you are more attractive as a guy. It also might make her feel more insecure making the woman more emotional and volitile.

Maybe you just don't hang around smart people. People around me that I speak with can think critically about metaphors, man or woman.

I find that even as a woman if you have someone who is worth having or considered valuable by the opposite sex other people will try to chase after them or take them from you. Both genders lack respect for people in relationships.

One thing that helps me is to stay away from social media. I know it's sounds crazy but it's hard to feel bad when you not focused on other people's lives. It also lets me remain mysterious. No one can just look me up at their leisure and there's power in that. Speaking from someone who deleted their social media besides Reddit years ago.

I agree. Woman "B" is also having to bend over backwards to be picked. While woman "A" has strong self worth and boundaries. Assuming the aim of both woman is to have a monogamous relationship. Frankly I wouldn't take the man seriously who would be interested in woman "B". She sounds a little too open to risk taking behaviors. Which can lead to other problems in the relationship. Just my opinion.

I guess I watched my mom do it every day, working in the corporate world all her life. So when i got old enough, I just assumed that was just what you do. I also feel like myself when I wear makeup because I'm always wearing it. So, for me, it's just like another part of getting dressed, like putting on socks and shoes or anything else we would out on without much thought going into it. Also, I'm 35 now and probably have been doing it every day for more than half my life. I can pretty much do a …

They are just a tool used to see better it's not that serious. Who cares if someone has an opinion about it. No matter what you do, people are gonna judge you. So you might as well do what makes you most comfortable and happy. If being able to see better does that, then use your glasses.

I agree with you but also add that he has to inspire and also give loyalty... He can be super affectionate, but what if he is that way with everyone. He has to have the morality to dedicate himself to one woman if she's giving him the same. I won't even give a man the time of day if I don't feel like I can trust him.

In a perfect world, I agree with you. It's a bit idealistic, disney movie type of situation. Consider this, what if he's bipolar and mentally unstable and you don't realize it until you've been dating him for a year or longer. Then, in the same breath, also realizing his reason for abstaining is rooted in some deep trauma that he never talks about. Also, at the time, you're nieve, so you have no context because you're young, and he's your first boyfriend too. You might think him being so obsesse…

You are so right. And I feel sad that this is true. I feel like because men don't tend to cry openly, that if I see that, The man might also scream or have a violent outburst because of the intense emotions. He could also feel shame and have an outburst from being observed aimed at me. Being a short smallish person, not overly short but smaller then most men in frame and height, seeing a man who is literally like three times my size, who could easily overpower or hurt me, and looking emotional t…

Oh my gosh so many guys would never dare do this to you. Jesus this is not even near close to being worth your time. Don't give your power away to someone who doesn't deserve you. Men like this should be treated as unacceptable. There are so many lonely men in the world don't waste your time. This kind of behavior would be so shocking to me. I would instantly lose feelings. No man is worth all that. No just no. You deserve someone that respects you.

They are considered creepy and weird by normal women. There are women who fetishize things that are deviant just like men do. Some men do act creepy, though I had a young man approach me in the store and literally just said, "Hello, how are you doing?" To me, I said."I'm good, thanks," and he spoke to my chest and never looked up to my face, then walked away. I was wearing normal clothes, nothing in any way revealing, nor do I have huge assets. I'm just an average person. When people act like th…

Man, he also said it in front of company that is so humiliaing. To say something like that about the woman who made a child for you. There are so many men who can't find girlfriends who have no chance to have a child even though they want to be fathers. Momma, I know you want to forgive, but you deserve so much better. This man doesn't deserve you at all.

I think people might imply something wrong with you if you haven't. People also had different standards theirs this phenomenon, where you have different thoughts about beauty based on the faces you see every day. If people are constantly seeing the best, humanity has to offer im sure that changes expectations. Also, access has changed for men and women due to dating apps. Meaning if a man sees 100 images of perfect woman over a month he may not be able to see the beauty in an average woman or vi…

In the past, two probably had to do a lot with social norms. By a certain age of a man wasn't pursuing someone, then they may have been judged by their peers. Also they had to learn to approach women.

Because men objectify them, trust me men did not pick the gurl that looks like a perfect ten because shes got awesome personality, she can still have a great personality and find connect that way but they are dating them for what they look like usually instead of who they are. Since they aren't the only attractive woman around and got together with a man that so highly values beauty, the man will be distracted when someone prettier comes along because pretty girl number one was just an object. I agree with you there. For the dating aspect, it is easier, especially if the are just a little bit attractive with a decent personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:56 AM

But at the same time don't understand the risks of these interactions are far higher as a woman in every day life. Socially, health wise, pregnancy wise, self respect wise. I think this is in a woman's mind more then a man. I don't know, I think it's actually kind of sad seeing young women of this generation post videos of themselves crying because of the dating apps and being used. Sex really isn't the same for men and woman. I feel like there are so many misguided people. Ideally I think a wom…

Also, I would imagine that this isn't what you would want for yourself if you had the choice. You deserve better. If I look at this from the male perspective, it seems like he is exploiting you. Tell me this, is it true love? when you lay your head down on the pillow at night, are you at peace every time? or are your thoughts racing about it? Do you think about leaving or question your self-worth because of the situation you are in? Do you tell your family or your friends, and what do they think…

I'd rather be female version of an incel. Like alone. Don't think I'd ever be because relating to opposite sex has come easy for me.i know that's not everyone's experience but without standards your just a door mat.

Yeah, just no. There are billions of people on earth. Why would I want to be with someone like that. I believe relationships are a place of trust and romance is spiritual and sacred thing. To each his own but my man better bring loyalty. He's either mine or he can find someone else. I would laugh in a man's face if he thought I would even consider some kind of situation like that. I am a loyal person, and treat men with respect. It's a value for a value. If I found out a man cheated, I would los…

The steamer pot makes all the difference for me. It's just so easy and before I used to Sautee veggies a lot and I realized I was using a lot of olive oil adding a ton of calories.

What helps me is having a vegetable steamer pot. It's like a pot on top of another pot, and you add water to the pot below, the water boils steaming what's in the pot above. At night, I put various veggies in it and let it cook while I do other things. I also sometimes buy grilled chicken strips from the frozen section, so I can add them to my meal when I don't have a lot of time. It helps because I can cook exactly how much I'm going to eat and not have to worry about left overs. Don't get me w…

I agree with you. Only speculating, but they could live in a really metropolitan city. I would imagine you see that a lot there due to the high competition for absolutely everything. Or in more rural places, I'd argue or in the south, if you go to a football game or something like that or some type of event where average people would attend you will see tons of average people. If you go somewhere like a nightclub with tons of young people, you might see a bunch of attractive people, maybe, or it…

Im only speculating and I am a female. Just a thought, as someone who is about to graduate and is under tremendous pressure to succeed myself, in a masters program.
