Again, this is in regards to your comment to me, not something random on this comment thread I think you’re missing the point and focusing on something that isn’t super relevant to the actual message here Also you not wanting to date guys shorter than you is literally you thinking they’re not worthy of you to some extent OP’s comment of “I’m not attracted to little elf men and everyone looses their minds” is not to be taken literally. I don’t think people actually “lose their minds” when she say…

I’m talking about your response specifically Do you even know what a superiority complex means? I don’t see how that ties in with OP’s post. Nowhere is she implying she is better than anyone else 1.) She’s taller than the average female, and wants to date taller than average men 2.) Specifically even said she’s not necessarily looking for a guy who is 6’ 0” Overall, women are physically smaller than men. It isn’t “unnatural” or wrong for a straight woman to want a partner who is taller than them…

I actually did not misread. You literally said there’s preferences and looking down on biological differences, standards were not mentioned anywhere I don’t see how OP is being negative When she says “little elf men” I took that as a figure of speech which is dramatized to make a point

This reasoning does not make sense Part of what makes us human is that we get to select our partners, and appearance happens to be one of the deciding factors. Height contributes to general appearance I’m sure you’ve judged people by the way their face looks before. This is also a biological difference, so why is it that we can say no to someone because we’re not attracted to their face but reprimanded for not wanting to date someone who is below average if we ourselves are not below average?

Never said you can’t. You can be 5’ 1” and have your settings at 6’ 5” if that’s what floats your boat. I’ll still sleep fine at night

The average height for a woman in America is 5’ 4” The average for a man is 5’ 10 The way I see it, if I am 5’ 4” (average) then it is perfectly reasonable for me to want a partner who is 5’ 10” (also average). If you’re above average - for example you are 5’ 7” it’s not at all unreasonable for you to want to date a guy who is at least 6’ 0” - 6’ 1” If you’re a woman below average height, then you shouldn’t look down upon men who are also below average. Just my two cents

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
