Did you ever tell her? Just curious how she handled it, if you did.

This could easily just be a case of false memory.

Many homeless people don't like shelters for various reasons. My aunt works with the homeless and she's always talking about how shelters suck for them. And if you're male you're not allowed into the vast majority of them.

When my mom was in high school she was coming home from somewhere on a plane. She was hungry so she got a sub sandwich in the airport. As she walked out, a homeless guy asked for change and so she gave him half of her sandwich. He walked straight to the trashcan and threw it away while looking her in the eye. That ruined her view of homeless people for life.

Wow way to ruin a good subreddit. No wonder there's been so many shitty posts on here lately. I don't think that that kind of content is appropriate on this subreddit, and since that's not up for debate I'll just unsubscribe. It's a shame that one asshole with an ideology can ruin something like this. I'm assuming that many of the downvotes are coming from people who believe I'm a leftist or something. I'm not, fyi. I just don't think the change is appropriate given what the original purpose of …

I found out about it a week after it was screened near me. I wish they would just let me buy a digital copy.

Is the MIL still around the kids? She may be coaching them to say things. Just a thought.

I didn't say it was bad. Their argument was that feminism is about equality and I showed why it isn't.

That definition assumes that women are always the ones being oppressed. On some issues men are treated unfairly while women are not. So defining your terms in that way excludes men because it ignores any issue which treats men unfairly. Men's rights aren't taken into account with that definition. Would you agree that "the advocacy of rights on the grounds of the equality of the sexes" would be better?

Talk to another lawyer. Maybe you could show the internal review to be biased so as to avoid a lawsuit. It is in the company's interest to claim everyone involved is at fault. It reduces the chance of someone feeling vindicated by the review and then go on to sue. They're just doing it to protect themselves, but maybe a good lawyer that knows his stuff can help. Also, file a police report. Even if it goes nowhere it's good to have something like this on record. If it happens again, she'll have a…

I was the same way. The only homework that I ever did in high school was what I could get done in class or big projects like a report or something. I never really did any schoolwork at home. But I usually did well on tests, so I'd end up averaging to a B or a C. If it wasn't for homework points, I probably would've been a straight A student.

Because when someone does, they get called sexist. Saying that women also do it to men gets equated with saying that it doesn't happen to women.

Ask the lawyer about maybe recording her admitting that she tricked you and you didn't know she was not taking the pill anymore. That could help in court. I'm not a lawyer, so ask them first.
