This is what I always imagined what should theoretically work. People talk about escalation verbally, but I don’t think it worked once unless they were a nympho, which wouldn’t even mattered in that case.

You have a good point. The only problem is because I’m still new, I think it’s too risky to go to local bars until I have enough confidence to do it locally without messing up too much that I could be viewed as creepy. It honestly might be a long term goal, but right now I’m just trying to get the reps in.

Honestly, that’s a good way of thinking about it. The good news is that I know I have it in me…somewhere…I just gotta bring it out. At the end of the day, it’s cold approach, and I have no problem doing this under a “warm” approach. I do social dancing so it’s a completely different ballgame when the premise is more social and open. It’s not necessarily about finding a solution, more being able to find the best opportunity to get the most reps so I can learn the fastest. There’s a higher probability that people are more receptive to talk at bars clubs etc, rather than at malls. Not saying it’s not possible during the day, but at least I can be more social during the night to people who are more open to it in general.

Here’s the problem. I’m very occupied during the day (primarily consumed with work) and until it’s warmer, It’s practically dark by the time I go back out for chores/groceries, etc.
