No lawyer needed I’m actually giving her a sweetheart deal (she consulted a lawyer and the lawyer told her she would be an idiot not to take it) But I ended up with a six-figure salary and an engineering degree.

How old are the children? How long is alimony? What are her wants for custody? Greater than 50/50?

This actually could help custody / Alimony in favor of you she has shown that she cannot be trusted. I would certainly bring it up. It can only help honestly. I’m sorry that this happened to you and why I support men getting DNA testing early on.

Bro what? At least end the relationship instead of traumatizing people.

Just saw she had an affair. Was it a physical or an emotional affair? If it was emotional there might be something to save. If it was physical then most likely it’s done bud.

The truth of the matter is both sexes need each other but things have become so unfair in terms of marriage. Where a man works hard for his family and the wife just decides she is done and is going to take half plus spousal support and child support it’s not even a good idea to get married nowadays.

She is “free”? Most of the time when they say this it’s because they got alimony and child support 😂. This is usually after an attempt to say the husband acted like a child ie; not doing their fair share of household duties. My question is always if a husband contributes most of the income (75% or more) why should he be responsible for 50% of the household work? Also after a “child” leaves do they continue to pay their mother? This narrative that women are pushing (That men are like children in …

It’s very easy to turn yourself into the good guy. Simply reward good behavior. For example Every 9 weeks is a report card correct? For every A they get $20, every B is $10, and C’s are only $5. Why this? Because good grades translate very well into being successful and this is a good way to show them that. Now as far as the food goes give them healthy options and allow them to be creative with the best idea getting cooked for dinner the following week. Simply make life fun for them because life…

Just get a couple of lawyer consults and see what your most realistic option is.

Hey bud, I know it’s going to sound counterintuitive but stop texting her and just work on yourself. She will reach out just let her be and now you must decide whether you want to be in a relationship with her or not. Put yourself in the drivers seat and go to a movie. Go to the gym and most importantly you must decide if you want this or not. Flip the script and stop playing her game. Stop texting stop pursuing and focus on building other relationships. She will text you back once you stop. Don…

Hello fellow soon to be divorced person. Do you have any family? My advice to you is treat her like your sibling. This will help change a lot of interactions. Hope this helps

As a man who likes women of different body types my advice is simple. Widen your dating pool. Date around the more you date the better you get at it.

Ok bud here is the plan YOU keep the house. YOU get majority custody of the children she basically becomes a weekend mom. She gets minimal spouse support and almost no child support because you have the children and you make more. Start from there.

She made the decision to divorce her easier OP now just get an attorney and do it.

It’s time to move on. I know it hurts but you must stop obsessing over her. She has already moved on. You deserve someone who loves you back. If someone loved you would they treat you like this? It’s normal to grieve the death of a relationship. But you gotta move on and work on yourself. Personally I don’t want to be someone’s second choice. I don’t think you want that either.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
