It's the same on IG, but it's more subtle there.

Reddit is nowhere near better, just allows you to more easily isolate yourself to select subreddits. Whatever platform it is, it's always a cesspool. Just gotta grow a thick skin and walk away from irritants. I'm not there yet, I get triggered so hard by misandry and political hypocricy.

It's everywhere bro. ESPECIALLY "threads". I've never seen so many lowest of society gather up in one place.

This is it. They see men and masculinity in a really bad light and resent their biological attraction to them, it's really bizarre.

This is on both sides. Neither she, nor the men are blameless in this. If you're a man and signed up to sleep with a self proclaimed pornstar along with 100 other untested and unshowered men (which is exactly how it went), that is not the kind of man we should be defending. When you defend those men, it takes away from other men who didn't make such stupid choices who need someone to stand up for them.

The thing is, this is one of the few spaces men can actually talk about their experiences without mindlessly being branded as incels. Sadly, that also means actual incels are drawn here like moths to a lamp because it's the only type of place they won't be as easily dismissed and ridiculed. But they harm the credibility of this sub by posting threads like these. Someone curious about MensRights coming here for the first time won't take kindly to seeing "do women even have a point in existing?"

What society doesn't need are feminists.

Yeah, with you on this one. Judging from his replies, OP didn't want an answer, just an echo of his own already concluded opinion.

And my argument is that this hypothesis is a non-discussion. Pondering whether men or women are needed in society is a radical's pitfall. Feminism began with good intentions and quickly fell into the radicalism that it is today. If you fight feminism with their own radical arguments, you've already lost.

Yes, men need women. And women need men. Don't fall into the same pitfall that feminists have. Women have strengths men don't, like men have that women don't. The reality is that life would be grim and colorless without a mother to love you, a sister to depend on you, and a lover to give meaning to your day with a genuine smile. The connection that women and men have is more complex than simply sex and babies, and neither gender is unnecessary, don't let the feminist "gender war" corrupt you.

It is bit of an echochamber, for people who have clearly been hurt and need this kind of space to express themselves and support each other. But it's nowhere near as toxic and shallow as say, TwoXChromosomes. Some of the absolute scum of the earth lurk that subreddit.

I've spent a majority of my life as a feminist, completely supporting women in almost all cases. Until I dared to open up to some of my long time (female) friends about some of the challenges I had socially as a man, as it's significantly harder to earn people's trust and keep it, and therefore keep friendships alive, especially with women. I was promptly branded as an incel (even though it had nothing to do with sex or romantic relationships) and they publicly tried to ostracize and cancel me. …

I don't know if it will work, but here.

Just the other day, I posted a screenshot of misandrists patting each other on the back online in my IG story, showing my disappointment. So many of my years long friends have unfollowed me quietly afterwards. Really disappointed in society tbh.

I absolutely agree with most you said, but men in the past did see gender as qualification also, just in a negative sense. Giving a job to a woman was a questionable decision, when there was a man who could perform it. But that kind of stigma is long extinct in today's society. At least in the west.

But that is exactly the point for her. It's OKAY for women to desire and go for sex if you are exactly what she wants for that purpose. If it's you (a man) who desires sex, and ultimately go for it when there is a greenlight, you are still a problem because you wanted sex in the first place. Maybe she's advocating all men should stop desiring sex, and the only sex that happens is women raping men.

I think you're looking for "apathetic"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
