That doesn’t have to do with the situation, it’s not about feminism, it’s about my best friend. Please do not make his issue into a platform to make a point against feminism. Thank you.

Jesus Christ imagine having nothing better to do than hate women and victimize yourself in your privileged stance 😫😫 I’m glad none of you date women they’d probably all hate you
/r/MGTOW230/06/21 02:49 PM

Y’all cherry-pick examples to victimize yourself. Reality check; not all women are going after money. You absolute fuck

It seems that you’re full of women hatred and self hatred.

The fuck is wrong with you. How hard is it to understand that some women don’t want to go through the 9 month hell of a pregnancy and raise a child in place of achieving their goals? Such as going to school and getting a good job? Because then they have no money and end up relying on someone else for money. Y’all have whacked up shitbrains, you’re literally causing all the problems that you think victimize YOU. Imagine having to raise an unwanted child. 1/4 kids are fatherless. Scared men can le…

Women are pressured into playing a mothering role, even to their husbands… this new generation is different… most medical students today are women, 60% of college students are women. I don’t think you understand that millennials and gen-zers are delighted to break that norm. It feels like a jail cell when you’re expected to be the home maker. Fuck that.

The world will stop growing cuz we’ll reach the k value, I’m also very anti capitalist person so I think economy could be based off of better core values that serve humanity without messing with delicate balances of every ecosystem

Why are you talking about alphas and betas in a relationship? Both individuals should share “”power””, otherwise it’s imbalanced and inevitability toxic

well, i am sorry that you were dealt such a bad hand. that must be traumatic on some level. teaches you to never trust a woman. i think in all my relationships, all the above are encouraged or accepted. i do understand that others may not be as lucky. there are shitty people out there.

i agree w this 100%. you’re bringing a balanced argument to the table and we need more of that in the world. one thing i’ve learned is that it’s p hard to try to bring balance to this sub. it can be a total battlefield.

i’m not arguing against that. the kids don’t decide which parent they live with unless theyre older (I think 13+). That’s what happened to my family, I didn’t get the option to live with my dad, so trust me, I’m aware that the system is bullshit. I’m purely stating facts, I don’t have an agenda here. I assure you that there wasn’t any malice behind my comment.

Well I mean if they want to take our father’s day. it seems more fair that way. i don’t think they should do it at all but that seems like a more rational decision on their part

I understand that, but if a woman is found guilty of lying then men a bit more off the hook I would assume. They are bad, duh, but a lot of women would then feel less obligated to come clean about it. This happens a lot with many civil and criminal cases. It’s a sad truth that people lie for payback or for money. Society as a whole has this troubling issue. I do understand that rape accusations are definitely more destructive than other false accusations. It’s disgusting, however it’s important …
/r/MensRights04/06/21 06:20 PM
-2

I think that would deter people of any kind from reporting rapists. False Accusations should deserve a penalty like posted, but raping someone doesn’t have the same vibe as making false accusations. Or more like a lawsuit for defamation of character. Or both. I do respect and value your opinion and all it’s worth.
/r/MensRights04/06/21 06:11 PM

shouldn’t they just rename both parents days to parents days? Or just have one? That being said, 1/4 kids are fatherless, the statistic for motherless is much lower. Regardless, that’s a stupid suggestion though I know fatherless kids feel really upset during father’s day (me included) and mother’s day is hard for kids whose mothers died or left.

i love the destruction of gender norms <3 esp with something like this where guys are shamed if they wear ‘feminine’ clothes. My bf wears crop tops sometimes and i love it 🥰

hear me out. these issues are related to classism, so wouldn’t socialism support homeless people more? i think most people on this sub are conservative but i really do think that this approach is gonna be one of the solutions for homeless people.
/r/MensRights29/05/21 05:03 PM

all of them? that’s a broad generalization. same with the acab bullshit. there’s bad people in every group. it doesn’t matter what it is. sounds a little like women hating, does it not? feminists under the impression that all men are evil are misandrist. same rules apply here.

we’re both really good now! still recovering but he’s eating 3 meals a day, most days. it’s so beautiful to watch
/r/MensRights27/05/21 09:05 PM

yea. that’s how it is ak, once you work long enough. my dads been in his district for 20 years and he makes 80k a year now. he is a sped teacher but it’s pretty damn high for a teacher. insurance is shit for us though.
/r/MensRights27/05/21 09:03 PM
3

my parents are both teachers, if you stick with it you can get upwards of 70k/yr salary. it’s universally shitty, but my parents made the point that they only work 9 months out of a year. but my family was on food stamps when my dad first started teaching and my mom was still in college. it’s pretty sad
/r/MensRights27/05/21 09:01 PM

okok this is gonna seem like i’m anti-mrm but hear me out. i think women are generally seen as more ‘safe’ and empathetic if that makes sense. especially with elementary school teachers. i don’t think it’s right, but regardless, the narrative has been instilled into people. and, 76% of teachers are female, which might’ve also added to it. it could also be coincidental, but there might be a political side to it, i understand that POV

do you have an ED?
/r/MensRights27/05/21 08:52 PM
5

this is super cool. i have had a long past of eating disorders, and i learned a lot abt this too. my boyfriend had an ED when i first met him, and his main reason of not admitting it was that he was a guy. it’s more common than you’d think.
/r/MensRights27/05/21 08:50 PM

but by being so defensive, isn’t it possible that we all miss a point because we are set in our ways? everyone thinks they’re right, so there’s no real objective truth which is fucky. but when trying to get someone on your “team”, using discussion rather than debate usually works more.
/r/MensRights27/05/21 08:44 PM

yeah i wasn’t arguing with you lol. just confirming my opinion aligns with yours haha

i think it’s mostly because people judge groups or movements based off of the extremists in said group. and we’d be lying if we said there weren’t a few misogynistic people here...
/r/MensRights24/05/21 08:56 PM
1

yea
/r/MensRights24/05/21 08:53 PM

i think bc people associate this group with the most extreme ones who actually kinda hate women. same with feminists, they’re judged off of the extremists. there’s shades of grey in everything.

I think that’s just more inclusive language now with trans folk & non binary folk. but that’s an extreme consequence.

That makes a lot of sense. I do agree with that last point. There are plenty of lowkey feminists but they get vastly overshadowed by the radical and blatantly misandrist ones.
/r/MensRights23/05/21 06:46 AM

Yes I do not doubt it’s origins. The fact that the proverb has been stolen and used against men is undoubted and upsetting. I think the saying evolved more recently. My mom may have misused the actual original saying, but she learned it from somewhere (society), as did many other people, especially older folk. That’s all
/r/MensRights23/05/21 06:36 AM

Oh of course. This is definitely true for many instances. I think it’s usually referred to when a boy (usually a child) does something whack, and it’s dismissed on the grounds of them being a boy. In middle school a couple of 8th graders played a “game” where one of them dared the other to touch my ass. That was dismissed by my mother, on those grounds. I’m not saying that generalization is wrong, but it has been historically used in a questionable way.

It is a very, very treatable cancer. The 5-Y surivival rate is 98%, as is the 10-Y survival rate. (Source) Perhaps this may be part of why? It wouldn’t let me open the article so I don’t have much to go off of. If there’s some sort of limited supply and etc. maybe it’ll go towards more other less treatable cancers? Like pancreatic cancer, a universal disease? Please correct me if I am wrong. I am just curious as to how this would happen. If it is just because it’s men, well, fuck.
/r/MensRights22/05/21 09:11 PM

That is what I hope to do :) I totally understand that there are always angry groups in every single group of people. Again, I am not singling anyone out, so I understand your POV.
/r/MensRights21/05/21 05:15 AM

Yes, of course, I’m aware that there are good eggs out there. I think if you already agree with someone, you’re less prone to becoming defensive or frustrated with them. I actually love to find people who want to discuss points of view in a constructive way, not so much of a debate or an attack. Gotta keep your mind open, that’s the only way you can grow.
/r/MensRights21/05/21 04:43 AM

This is true. Everyone believes that they are true and correct, and people have prides large enough to block out any other perspectives. It is an issue with every single political group etc.
