Yes I am. Also, I'm referring less to enthusiasm and more to sincerity. They are similar but not the same thing. By sincerity, I mean "not putting on a show". No stunts, no BS, no trying to impress. Having a normal conversation with someone as you and I are right now. This is what's missing from the dating scene. As for the "luck/timing" part, I agree with you there. I think dating apps are fundamentally broken. Women get too many responses to ever respond reasonably, and men get too little resp…

I don't doubt it. When I did use dating apps in the past, I intentionally tried to talk to those who actually gave responses to me in earnest. I think the key to dating on both sides is sincerity. Which a lot of people seem to lack because they've been shamed into hiding it, unfortunately.

I appreciate the advice! Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me. It really is helpful to me, and I hope you are doing well.

I've never picked up on that until now. Usually they say "little ego" too, diminishing the man to the "small/short" stereotype. Which I will never understand, because "bodyshaming"(for lack of a better term) is not okay to do under any circumstances. In fact, shaming anyone in general should be rare. Instead, that's what many women jump to: immediately shaming the man and diminishing him.

Lol! I don't even know anyone who goes to brunch. That's seen as a snooty thing to do where I'm from. Who wakes up at 10am on a Tuesday to have wine and eat $20 eggs?

This is a valid perspective and I agree with you. What can I as a woman do to support men who need emotional validation? I see the suffering and I just want people to know they aren't alone, and that some people (both women and men) do care about them.

Understandable. It must suck to have literally every algorithm working against you, since they promote the female profiles more. I think dating apps in general have been fundamentally flawed since around 2015. All dating apps need a major overhaul that nobody is willing to do.

I have a question for red-pilled or no-pilled men: What's something you wish women understood?

I'm sorry that this happens to you. The best thing I can tell you is that you aren't alone on that one. Truthfully, it won't get better until you snap out of the rut of constant negative thoughts. When your mind tells you, "You stand no chance with pursuing her," you should literally respond (either out loud or in your head) "That's not true." It will literally condition your mind into thinking those thoughts less and less. And as you know, thinking is perceiving. Our mind is our window to the w…

I think you're right, persistence is much more valuable and can produce better results in the long term. Chasing short term achievements rather than building long lasting healthy habits has only been worsened by "influencers" who are out there telling young men that they are only valuable if they fuck bitches and get money. Using shame to tell them they aren't good enough unless they follow the cookie cutter formula lifestyle. I truly believe we're all too hard on young men.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
