Sorry to chime in again… Situations like this really try the limits of my pro-choice stance. Does anyone remember when even leftists would say “abortion: safe, legal, AND RARE.” Now it feels like legalized, weaponized murder, and it becomes easier and easier for me to understand the pushback against abortion rights given stories like OP’s. What Florida has been doing lately is great. But what happens if the mother ups and moves to California? Custody arrangements often try to limit such moves but good luck enforcing a provision like that. In any case, another avenue after a vasectomy is a TESE and then attempt a medically guided pregnancy (turkey baster method). I am not confused — at all. I’m just using a real-world definition based on human nature and cultural aspects, and not a textbook one about political systems. Communal systems emphasize groups, by definition. It’s entirely natural based on simple human nature that once groups form, they want to amass their own power. It’s the exact opposite of individualism, literally and figuratively. Communism is the ultimate expression of the collectivist groupthink inherent in BLM, Pride, feminism, etc.
