Is "men created the DL and men have to solve it" wrong? Did women create it? Are women supposed to make men stop creeping behind their wives backs with each other? I don't really think there's much wrong here

No I really don't think so... The OOP talks like a girl speaking to their friend. The interlocutor also says "fine I don't want to be friends with you anyway" no mention of a breakup or anything. I think this is a conversation between 2 female friends. Edit: I looked it up and bsf means "best friend" There's no misandry in this post

Is the OOP a guy? I think it's a woman... What is a "bsf" ?

Well if you start believing "there is neither male nor female but all are one in Jesus Christ" (Galatians 3:38) then you might become more reluctant to hate yourself for your sex

As Catholic a millennial parent of a tween boy, this bring tears to my eyes My boomer mom was also very unhappy when I decided to become more than just a cultural Catholic

But I thought they were insulted by chivalrous displays like that Kind of how it was so terrible and stupid and bad for women to be SAHMs but now that it's not even an option to be a SAHM they act like they were always trying to be a SAHM

My son has been kicked by girls so many times at school and the teachers do nothing even when he tells them. He kicked back one time and they immediately called me and said "theres a history between these two" yeah no, she has a history of kicking him, and YALL have a history of letting her. thats your history asshole.

I see black men all the time giving away their time for free to try and help kids become better adults. With absolutely nothing in it for themselves

Your comment is accurate but it is apropos of nothing in this thread which is why we are confused about why you keep making it This is a thread about how it's wrong to say people only have lots of kids because men abuse them into doing it so that they can control the woman If you're not trying to tie "people were sexist back then" into that message (that sexism is the reason), then you might as well be saying "people listened to jazz back then." Yes, that is true, people listened to jazz back th…

My 12 year old son knows a couple of boys that are really really nasty to him, but he's only ever been physically accosted by girls. He's been kicked and assaulted by girls throughout grade school, and the last time, he kicked her back, and the school called ME to inform me that he kicked her, before they called HER parents. She got to kick him like 10 free times throughout the years and never once did they call anyone until he kicked back, and it was his parents first. Logic??

You said the commenter had a point but there is no point relevant to the picture or the OP. People being more misogynistic generally in the past is not making a point about having many children. The questions I raise are good to think about.
/r/EverydayMisandry24/03/25 02:55 AM

And so therefore any man with many children could be fairly assumed to only have them in order to be psychologically torturing and controlling his wife,, and therefore no woman would have ever wanted to keep having children with him of her own will? When did men start loving their children? The 2000s? How did they start loving them? Were men with fewer children less misogynistic? Have women ever loved their children? Do women stop loving their children after a certain number? Do all women hate h…

I really wish people would stop acting like boobs are completely neutral body parts. Most women do indeed recognize a sexual aspect to their breasts/nipples which they enjoy in a way men do not. The nerve endings in women's are much closer to the surface, for one thing. If they woke up without boobs or nipples one day, most women would feel they had lost a huge part of their sexuality. If men woke up without nipples one day, they'd barely notice. Ask a bunch of men if they'd have their nipples r…

Yeah, why isn't she shrieking about how bigoted it is to imply that the purpose of a womb is to grow a baby?? Rather than generating womyn magick or something, or donating to a male to validate him feeling like a woman. Also, some men HAVE wombs naturally, dont they?? Why "mother's womb" and not "father's womb" Why is she quoting these gender normative quotes??

I don't understand people who think like this about marital funds If he spends 100k on you, and you're going to be married, then YOU are 100k poorer YOURSELF YOUR household will be 100k shorter. Wouldn't you rather just have that money in the bank as a household?? That's why I told my husband to get the daintiest ring possible. It's not like some stranger you'll never see again is buying it for you and you're just purely netting it

I've noticed that WHEN men are more lazy with childcare and cleaning, it seems to be due to a lack of communication When we first got married, my husband did not do much after work to help with the kids or clean. And at first, I was shy to communicate that it was too much for me, and that he was taking more free time than I was getting. But then I pointed it out that he was having free time after working hours and I was not. Now, he does nearly all of the house chores and our free times are roug…

I remember a female classmate in kindergarten running around physically sexually assaulting the boys. And it was a nice private school. I did not see the reverse. A different girl did it to me (I am a girl) around the same age. I have also received SA from males, but not until much later.

What does "a lifetime of forced pregnancy at 10 years old" mean
/r/EverydayMisandry03/02/25 07:39 PM
24

Ok even if we grant just for argument's sake that pregnancy is a man's fault alone, that really is inconsequential, since we are also supposed to believe that a "pregnancy" doesn't become a BABY until it is birthed and exits the mother's body, and ONLY THE WOMAN gets to decide whether fetus becomes a baby or just medical waste. So the creation of a BABY is 100% the WOMAN'S CHOICE. A pregnancy/fetus doesn't become a baby until SHE ALONE decides that SHE will allow it to. So in this framing, child…

This series of images reminds me of a particular rape case that was in the news about 10 years ago... Brock Turner... A woman at a college party was blacked out and he dragged her behind a dumpster and started assaulting her However, she was saved when 2 bros who were bicycling saw what was going on, accosted her assailant, and pinned him down until the police arrived My all-female friend group talked about it many times and every time a link was shared, they'd groan about "MEN!! We just wish we had a few professionally staged shots. I think our total was under 2k so in hindsight I would have sprang for another grand. The pictures from guests didn't turn out super great

That's what we did.. I think our biggest expense was having a girl's choir sing the songs. We didn't have a photographer which we regret, that would have been a justifiable expense

Apparently a lot of women make their bridesmaids buy ridiculously priced dresses and go on trips with them and make them pay for it themselves My bridesmaids wore 300$ dresses but I paid for my BFF's one because she was struggling at the time and I felt bad. And I did nothing else that cost them money

That doesn't sound like a significant difference in genetics (3rd cousin vs 1st cousin) but it actually is very significant. Plus 3rd cousins usually have never even met, and their parents usually haven't even met. It's not similar to 1st cousins at all Also, the Amish have much higher rates of genetic anomalies than the non-Amish in the same region, and they don't do any closer marriage than 1st cousin. 1st cousin isn't the end of the world or the end of a population, but it is very much not id…

A lot of people apparently get into relationship counseling because it gives them access to people they can seduce and exploit. I've heard so many bad things and had my own bad experiences. Open relationships seem to be more common with them than the general public. It seems to be the field of choice for a lot of would-be cult leaders

Men in general can't tell the difference between red and purple half the time. Yesterday my husband called the tan walls "lemon." So very visual. The visualest.

I don't believe the addiction narrative. I think they choose to do it and use addiction as their readymade excuse for why you cant expect them to stop or be mad at them. I think some of them are fully aware that they're pulling this, and others are somewhat aware, and some others may just be subconsciously aware. I believe their dicks are desensitized and dont work normally anymore. But I don't believe people are addicted to porn.

You shouldn't want to make it less awkward for a guy you are just meeting. You need to see the real them, you need to have flowing conversation, with the ability to touch on lots of topics. Activity dates I think are fine first dates if you've already known the guy from work or mutual friends or whatever. Back before OLD, activity first dates were cool. But if you're just getting to know someone you've never even met before, activity dates are just going to prolong the process of getting to know…
