I was under the impression that our laws view drunk sex as rape. I was wrong. That being said, it bothers me that some people are pushing to make drunk sex into rape, in the eyes of the law. Drunk driving is absolutely a multi-party action. There are other people put at risk by getting behind the wheel drunk. Perhaps "consent" isn't the right term. We hold drunk drivers responsible for their actions, but we don't hold drunk people participating in sex responsible for their actions. Women choose men at the top of the dominance hierarchy. My theory is that the "patriarchy" is nothing more than sexual selection renamed.
