Gotcha - mental health should not be used against you - unless you threatened to harm yourself, her or the kids. But, people are evil and the courts are too - I think an attorney is your best route - just for some advice

Sorry dude, but if you get divorced, I think this is a 50-50 blame game. If you do not want to seek professional help for her at least do it for yourself and kid. She, yep, she is needs help to - you guys are in a volatile relationship for sure - best of luck.

Best of luck bro. View this as a best friend who betrayed your trust. You would shut the out, so she deserves the same treatment. Life is too short to be disrespected - screw her

She is an addict - alcoholic - time to file ASAP
/r/Divorce_Men05/07/23 10:11 PM

Do not sleep with her - tell her calmly it is over, not going to work and that you are filing for annulment/divorce. Document the cheating the best you can

Some human beings are the most cold hearted creatures in the World. When we stop caring about others that were important, some people are done - could careless if you live or die brother

Our ego is what is bruised - we have a hard time accepting the fact we are not wanted -

Run, do not pass go, do not collect $200! End this man - she is proven to be a liar - you will be next when things go south - you will then be the bad guy - she can not be trusted

MAybe the landlord will remove you name if you pay him some of the rent. You also do not need to leave either - maybe make her life miserable

Learning experience brother! Take it move on - now you know what to look for even more - the right questions to ask etc.
/r/Divorce_Men19/06/23 09:24 PM

For me, it was the idea of freedom and starting over anew. Just being miserable was enough for me to say - enough - something has to be better - one life to live men!

What better gift to give then.....a divorce!! Laugh it off man - she will be out of your life soon. Some may say this is harsh, but when you read others stories of men's exes treating them like total garbage - this is nothing :)

My man, she and her family sound like loser trash....she is a complete shit show - spiraling, abortion now prego with the AP, living with sister, family approves of all this. Man, I would load my vehicle and whistle your thanks to your God that y are out of this hillbilly circus!!

I am so sorry. Be thankful you found out sooner than later! She is a very horrible person - why would she marry you? She is the worst of the worst bro. Take solace in knowing she is out of your life!
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/23 06:22 PM

I think you get closure. You now know that this was not on you. Yes, maybe you were not the best, but the cheating and lying are all on her - she has to live with those horrible traits.
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/23 06:20 PM

Amen brother - she is a broken person - sounds like she is blaming you for her issues
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/23 03:56 PM

Noting wrong with you bro. You are a caring man. You married for the long run, you built a family for the long run. Feeling sad about something you put your heart into does not mean something is wrong with you - not in the least!

Got it. Well, if you are like me everything we do is/was for our wife and kids etc. So ask yourself, what do you want? Really want? Kids will survive in fact probably better in 2 happy households instead of one bad one. May sound silly, but do a marriage pros and cons. Ask yourself - what will then next 10, 20 years look like in your marriage?
/r/Divorce_Men12/06/23 11:46 PM

She tried o convince you to divorce and then when you agreed, now she is saying no? What reason did she give? The kids?

She is an evil woman - so sorry man - her and her friends are what I would called whores.

Some women are not meant to be mothers - they of course can push them out, but as for motherly instincts - she has none - she is selfish bro. Good for you - loving dad!!!

Social media - right here. Just had a talk with my 22 yo son who is dating women off of tinder etc. I told him you got to be careful and not fall head over heals. What is different now days that if your GF or wife get pissed at yo - she can swipe hundreds of times and find someone that she thinks is better than you and cheat. In my day, you actually had to go to a bar/club or someplace - you had to work on the problems at home. Now days - instant gratification. And for guys for every 100 we swip…

"we simply make each other miserable." Right here - think about if you are in a job that makes you feel this way, you look to get out. And face it, we spend just as much time at a job as we do at home - just keep telling yourself this when you see her hiding her phone etc. In fact, just tell her you do not care she can do what she wants and then you do what you want - no reason to hid it
/r/Divorce_Men31/05/23 04:50 PM

Yep - men do not like to lose - in most cases - and failure is not an option, but sometimes the L is a W. You will find someone who will support you for the W - that is what you need bro

Ego brother - all ego

Agree - I tell my son's who are at the dating age of their 20's, look at the mom's! Also look at how she was raised. These are indicators (not 100%) of what you can expect looks wise and how she views relationships/marriage etc. Unhealthy or unstable upbringing can sometimes tell you what you are in for

Wow sorry mate. I will say, and I feel for you truly, but when you said whenever she cussed or interrupted or became unhinged you hung up - GOD, I love it!!! I am sure she was spitting fire from all orifices she so mad!!! Hhahahahah - you made my day with that post. Most (not all) can not handle being hung up on especially when they think they know it all and are right!!! :) Good luck!!!!!

Cali - 12 years - she is gonna get 50% and the 10 year alimony mark is in play. You are gonna get hosed on the money and assets just being in CA - sorry bro, I think this is gonna be expensive for ya :( If she is off her rocker, start documenting everything she sends ya - need to try and prove she is unhinged and this may help with the kiddos

You gotta let him know - anonymously, however - this poor guy is getting shat on hard - and exposed to STI's - not good

Lots of changes brother. If the marriage is not salvageable in both eyes, then best to move on. As for the new career and the distance - maybe get your feet wet for a year or two, try and visit with the kids in person as much as you can and do calls and Facetime daily or so. After you get some security in your new role, maybe look for something closer to your kids. Not gonna kid ya, gonna be a tough few years, but where there is a will there is a way. Good luck and if you know you are a good day…

Exactly - we mean need to know our worth and act on it! This is what got me OP...."She's adamant that all she wants is me, and to be happy with me, she just doesn't know how to do it anymore. She wants me to be there for her." Nope - you need her to be there for you also - this is not your issue - it is hers. Separate, move towards divorce and maybe repair - but top priority is who mate!

Amen!! Serve a purpose.

Agree - man, I really have to question the integrity of some men. Her is a dude messing with a woman who is married and has 2 young kids. This idiot must have some low morals and self-esteem. I mean what would make him do this - I am sure that kitty is nothing fantastic!? Sorry OP - your STBX is a nasty one for sure.

Stay strong brother. It will get better. It amazes me how many lonely men are out there in the world. Either through D, never been married or lonely within a marriage/relationship. I am not aware of any groups or organizations like AA or NA that exist just for loneliness. Is anyone aware of anything or is now the time to start local groups to help us navigate this and help us with our mental health. I have lost friends over this - they feel nothing is left for them in life and they do not want t…

Agree - bad all the way around especially if you still want the marriage - hard to reconcile that. For me, once she said out, I said fine - life is too short - I do not want to be in a relationship or career where I am not wanted. I think she was surprised - people love the drama and I was having non of it. Adios, co-parent, have a great life, your lose - money, who cares? I will make that back!

I hope I am wrong on that one, but something is going on in her head. Sounds like you tried to find out and she blocked ya - bad situation but sometimes the only thing to do is concede the lose. She does not want therapy, blames you.....women check out way before asking for divorce, but I have a heard time wondering why she thinks raising toddlers on her own is going to be good for her long term????? Sorry man

Who knows - not sure how old your kid(s) - PPD maybe? Another dude on the side? Anyway you look at it - she is damaged - going through something

Master plan bro - she got what she wanted from you, kids, cushy life...now she gets to walk, live the life that she thinks is still out there - sure a single mother with kids and an attitude - not what most dudes are looking for - plus she gets at least 1/2 of everything. Best advice - be the best dad you can be - end this D with her amicably just to get her out of your life except for co-parenting. The grass will not be the green for her once all is done - if she wants to be a pin-cushion for o…

Sorry mate - you let go and move on or just end up dying a slow painful death. I chose to view it as a blip in life - like a job that I lost - you got to move on - nothing you can do. You can beg and cry - but you will not get that "job" back. Like a shark - keep swimming or die Good luck

I remember you were driving a truck - is that all going ok?

Bro - I think I remember your story - red headed ex from Norway? I am so sorry. Give yourself time to heal. Give it a year or so - focus on yourself. If you want love and a mate - they are out there. I think there are more women then men available but you have to pick wisely. Plus sadly you now know what is at stake and can be lost so take that into your future. Best

Bro- not your fault and I am sorry. Start getting your finances in order. Contact a D attorney. Make sure you get all that in order then line up a place to go after you tell her - sounds like she is volatile. Anything important to you, papers, memorabilia get that located. Plan for the worst and expect the worst before and after you tell her. Your attorney will give much more advice as well as others on this red. Good luck

She s a big lazy potato , never worked, only spending money on alcohol drugs gambling and addictions. Wow - sorry bro that you were dealt this trifecta times 10! Good for you - get out and enjoy your life! She is an anchor around your neck!

Dude - she is going to charge you, like an Uber driver, to bring your kids to you?!?!??!?!! Wow

I think you speak for many men who have been married 20+ years or more....married because you thought it was the best option. Wanted kids, some security etc....and now, well being alone does not sound too bad. She is saying what she does because she is afraid for herself - if she is alone, who will provide, maybe no talking but at least someone around. Grass may not be greener - but you never know til you try man.

My man, you tried. You gave it your all and I commend you for that. You did what was right for you. She liked your safety for sure and you bent over backwards for her but when you needed more she showed her true colors. Go out and live your best life. Trust me a 59 year old man with his shit together is in much more demand than a broken 55 year female - not trying to be mean, but the way it is.

Wishing you luck brother. I know it is hard. I have been so hardened that I never get too attached - as in I am always on guard and never vulnerable - waiting for the next shoe to drop. In my relationships and career. When things get bad, then I dip with no emotional attachment. Not a pretty way to go through life, but protects my heart :( Glass half full :(

Sorry bro. May not want to hear this but many times when the woman wants to end things, she already has someone lined up. Not all the time, but her working out all the time, cutting you off. I would not be surprised that she is going through the motions right now with you while she is opting for anther man. Hope I am wrong.

Hmmm....most depend on the local. If you are married more than 10 years - 50% right off the bat and alimony if she is a SAHM

MJ is legal here. This does not make you a bad husband/father. Alimony, probably, child support, I am sure you will get 50/50. Divorce before 10 years for sure!!!! CA is hard on men bro
