I have only read the book. I wanted to watch it but I don’t think I could stomach some of the scenes.

Yes probably.

I do agree with his initial statement. Not because “women are bad”. Women are lovely but finding love is not worth subjecting yourself to modern dating.

Is it really? Attractive women don’t need the validation or attention from these subs. Ugly men for the most part know they are ugly so why would they post except to get their feelings hurt? Attractive men get less attention on social media than attractive women so it makes sense if they post more.

I agree. I hate seeing people talking shit about the people that liked them on dating apps, Men or women, especially when they show their pictures.

<image> Another reason why dating is cooked. I love how F**KS is in all caps lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 11:40 PM

Nope. Still feels wrong.

All that IQ and you can’t figure it out?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 01:02 AM

Hard to picture you with any other animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 06:02 AM

Yep, I noticed after I read their other comments and opened their profile. Btw how come your name is beautiful_ falcon and not lion !!

Eh I see what you mean and I guess I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:04 PM

But I don’t think they see that as value. Men think they become valuable by getting shredded, having money, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:00 PM

Eh these men don’t think that most women are more valuable than most men because men and women have different views on what make them valuable.

It’s funny to me that a lot of people think a prenup is an ironclad thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 06:50 PM

If you’re playing at club Brugge past the age of 22 you shouldn’t be anywhere near a national team like Belgium. Yes club Brugge aren’t awful but a team in a bigger league would snatch him if they saw potential in him.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 03:00 AM
2

I mean you probably wouldn’t post about it if you know you would look bad. There’s also probably some bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:18 AM

This isn’t even a good Belgium team. Some of their guys are from the Belgium league.

I think soccer fans are much more respectable when it comes to international soccer. They get much worse when it’s club soccer and they are playing a rival team.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:05 AM

I’m the opposite lol English fans on twitter are insufferable! Imagine if it comes home!

New rule because last season a Benfica player allegedly said something racist to a Real Madrid player while covering his mouth so now if you cover your mouth during a confrontation it’s a straight red. Türkiye is toothless in front of goal and unable to create.

Hello wolf lady
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 03:19 AM

The extroverted charming guy doesn’t have to go to places just to hit on women.they know he is there to enjoy the activity from his behaviour and the flirting sort of happens sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 12:08 AM

The Lion knows !
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 11:22 PM

If you go there with your mission being meeting women the others can quickly clock that from your behaviour and you can only flirt with one woman otherwise you will be known there as the guy who flirt with women and they would warn them about you. When people say they met their partner doing x activity, they went there with the sole purpose of doing the activity. You only hear about the guy/girl who found a partner not the 10 who didn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 11:18 PM

Doing anything with the goal in mind is meeting women makes that activity not a good place to meet women

You say nice guys but then you say they ask why should people put up with my shitty attitude. If they think they are nice guys they don’t think their attitude is shitty. I talked to a lot of people to realize that some people don’t care about being decent unless there’s something in it for them otherwise they don’t owe society anything. Men feel entitled to an average/ attracted partner because that’s what media told them. So many movies where an average looking guy has a pretty wife and they he…

Oh you’re one of the people that believes drinking water is healthy for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 09:18 PM

I would say the dasher. You’re not supposed to work with a baby in the car! I know we don’t know their circumstances but objectively they are at fault and they would have to rely on the good nature of people to come downstairs but some people may not be able to because of their own circumstances.

I made a lot of female friends from dating! What made you think he is too young for you when you met him in person?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 04:24 AM

I kinda relate. As a male who used to get female attention. ost of it was from women I’m not interested in so it didn’t really register in my head. The hard truth is in most cases only the attention you want matters.

You can be direct with someone without being mean. I grew up with a lot of mean or direct /tough love when it comes to teachers and sports coaches and it worked for me but it won’t resonate with everyone, some people might see it as a personal attack and focus on that instead of the message/advice

I do agree that most women don’t need to improve anything other than their self esteem and standards because guys already find them appealing. If women don’t find you appealing then you probably need to improve. It’s really that easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 06:27 PM

The other person need to find you attractive, women can find you attractive because of something you did, you don’t have to look like a chad. But some attractive people say or do something that ruin their shot like being rude to the waiter/waitress during the date.

Being on dating apps is just it a fun experience and I’m saying this as someone who used to get a decent amount of likes from attractive women. Talking to people online to get to know them before going on a date is more often than not a frustrating experience. First dates don’t seem exciting to me, maybe I have been on too many that they lost their magic. It’s very common to go on multiple dates with someone and everything is great but they were doing the same with someone else and decide to dat…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 05:12 PM

No to all. Dating isn’t fun. The idea of being married is nice though. I’m here to fight against misconceptions such as women are bad and only want Chad.

It would add some animosity. I want friendlier vibes
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 01:11 AM

I have a divider. A table my old neighbour bought. She didn’t use it as a divider but I rotated it to divide the space. It stayed as a divider since then.

Society acknowledges that men have it harder dating wise. Women give them advice but they don’t like the advices they are getting.. Condemnation of what? I think it’s clear that a lot of men do actions that deserve condemnation. Go browse any dating subreddit and read the stories and screenshots.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 11:23 PM
3

Let’s say women have it easier than men dating wise. Why is the burden on women to care or fix it? Women still have difficulties in dating, different difficulties than what men are dealing with, and men don’t care nor are trying to fix them. Another thing I realized is pretty women are treated like gold, like this amazing superior being you shouldn't upset. Whatever she does, she is right and you are wrong for upsetting her. They didn’t ask to be treated this way. Men treat them this way. So you…

Free hole is absolutely disgusting! So is other parts of his post. “the only way for this to work is if she approach but still make him work for it to prove his interest in here” Personally I would probably perceive this as playing games and I wouldn’t entertain it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 07:45 PM

Not Europe, I mean I saw reels about going to x country for the ‘culture’ or whatever and they show handsome men but it’s mostly a joke. It is a thing mainly in Gambia and Jamaica. Apparently a significant amount of Gambia’s economy comes from it.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 03:51 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 02:13 AM

Those attractive qualities aren’t exclusive to abusive men. Just attractive qualities that other men who aren’t abusive also have. Like being interesting, successful and probably good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 01:53 AM
13

Do people think women pick some men because they are abusive? Abusive men aren’t being picked because they are abusive. Unpicked men can be abusive! They have attractive qualities and hide the abusive part.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 12:21 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 12:13 AM

I flirt with some of my female friends in a platonic joke way. I make it clear first that I have no romantic interest in them so they know it’s platonic. I don’t equate sending nudes with flirting. I don’t recommend sending nudes, especially to strangers! ESPECIALLY if you’re a woman! Guys literally send nudes in group chats thinking it’s a flex !
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 11:24 PM

How am I supposed to know you did that lol I said maybe.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 11:19 PM

Maybe because you are friends and you are taking a step back from the friendship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 11:17 PM

Because your question is irrelevant to your post. Your post is about ALL women not just pretty women. Saying that most women are pretty is a subjective statement that many men would disagree with.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 08:18 PM

Most women aren’t ‘pretty’. Most women are a bit above average, average and below. Are you limiting women to just pretty women?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 08:14 PM

Well you just said that’s women’s type. Are you saying women don’t go for their type? Most women are with guys way far from that type.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 08:09 PM

But you go outside and you see that most women aren’t with big muscular white guys..
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 08:06 PM

Why haha a man can’t have blue pill opinions and not go on dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 03:05 AM

You think we go on dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 03:03 AM

You said it’s an ick. wasn’t clear for me if you meant for you or in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 07:29 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 07:14 PM

Even happy ones?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 07:05 PM

a LOT of women are into anime so this isn’t a really common ick.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 07:04 PM

This is nonsense. Women back then were expected to help in war especially if their city was under siege some even fought like Boudica and Joan of arc. And historically it didn’t go well for women if their people lost the battle..
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 07:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 01:58 AM

What’s AI pilled?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:52 AM

Awe! a meet cute ?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 01:38 AM

Nope. Regular pasta! It still has some protein 🤪
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 12:34 AM

Didn’t have protein yet. Gonna be chicken, pasta and cheese.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 12:31 AM

I don’t understand what’s wrong with this. Friends can’t do nice things to each other? Did he say he wants to date her or have sex with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:12 PM

Can you give examples of these ‘boundaries’?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 09:19 PM
4

Should they instead use AI to filter through profiles for them like hiring companies do with applicants?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 03:22 AM

Oh only available during weekends? What kind of date would you prefer?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:52 AM

I usually get pizza from domino’s. iI’s not the best but they have good deals and it’s within walking distance. Are there plans for date 3?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:47 AM

Not my favourite pizza. I prefer my pizza with veggies. I haven’t watched Animaniacs since I was a kid!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:32 AM

How can all men be married if they had no standards? I was told here that even below average looking women want above average looking men and women chase the top 20% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:30 AM

I mean they have choices.. they choose to be single
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:23 AM

What kind of pizza? What else happened in the date?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 02:18 AM

A bit jealous! My dates rarely ended up with pizza..
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 01:59 AM

I don’t understand them. Why would you be friends with them then? Why not make your intentions clear from the start? You think befriending them first would make them want to sleep with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 01:54 AM
1

Why are you following people you don’t know? Why would they follow you back if they don’t know you? I don’t understand.

It is a part of it. A lot of men put a great value in having a partner beyond just companionship and wanting a family. It is like a status symbol for them. They think having a pretty woman by their side would make other men respect them more and treat them better. I think the rise of the manosphere has to do with men seeing a lot of pretty women online that they can’t get. Manosphere influencers found an opportunity to sell these frustrated men a dream. You too can become a Chad and date the pre…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 04:57 PM

You keep comparing apples to oranges. This in no way compares to being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 04:24 PM
5

You need a job to eat and survive. You can survive without dating. Plenty of people did it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 04:19 PM
3

Idk about that, I think it would be an improvement. Men describing their ideal partner look wise is way more outrageous than when women do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 04:18 PM
3

My bad I misread this. “Men make women feel special via commitment.” But second part of the comment still stands.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 02:17 AM
3

Why would she owe commitment to someone she hasn’t met by that time? So women get criticized for not having sex with guys and they get criticized for having sex with guys? Men can’t have it both ways
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 02:12 AM
4

Why wouldn’t his virginity make her feel special? What’s up with the double standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/26 02:07 AM

Gonna go on a whim and say they aren’t posting them for male attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 11:48 PM

No, you specifically asked me about neediness for their rights. In my comment i mentioned men neediness for specific things not for everything.

Maybe it’s because pigeons don’t have manosphere
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 08:57 PM

Funnily enough I saw a post yesterday that claims there are way more and we did a bad job at tracking the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 08:34 PM
2

Are you comparing rights to sex?!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 07:43 PM

I didn’t say there’s something wrong about posting about being lonely. I said the extremely needy posts. An example would be the way some people post about craving sex or how women SHOULD choose them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:42 PM

I’m much skinnier than the guy in the picture but I’m very self conscious about wearing “tight” shirts or being shirtless.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:34 PM

How would you prefer we express our desire for sex and relationship? Not the current way it’s being expressed! Putting aside the objectifying and rude posts/comments on social media, it comes across as very needy and almost feels like calling for women to take pity on you and letting you hit. Why does your gender mean anything to you Because they ruined our image! Because of the way men interact with women online women are very weary of men and when I talk with my female friends and male actions…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:32 PM

Probably baggy clothes. I chose pizza and ice cream over a summer body. Edit: just ordered another pizza.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:20 PM

The way guys express their extreme neediness for relationships and sex is very embarrassing for our gender and gives me a massive ick.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 06:01 PM

I get it. If having relationship or starting a family is very important to her then it makes sense she would put more effort into it at the expense of friendships. You are fine for not having the patience for it because of the way it affects your friendship. Sadly, seems like a lot of people on dating apps stuck in a similar cycle.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 05:56 PM

Well you can’t be blamed for having an issue you were diagnosed with and taking medication for! It sucks that your parent got cruel and didn’t support you. I’m sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 03:31 AM

Honestly it depends. Like ye things happen, if it happens to you constantly and you have an excuse for everything or you quickly jump to finding excuses the. You might need to take accountability and you might be the problem. I can’t speak about you specifically, idk what you’re going through.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 03:19 AM

Owning up to your shortcomings and not deflect blame or keep coming up with excuses. I used to play sports and I used to do that like oh I didn’t score because of this or I was actually trying to do this. . My coach pointed it out. Once you stop making excuses is when you learn. Edit: it also exists in dating, I’m single because I’m a nice etc
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 02:59 AM

I paid once for bumble. Because it was like 50%. I got matches but I also got matches without it. I liked using the passport mode to see what the dating scene is like in other parts of the country. Edit: I disagree about it being the worst thing to happen to dating but I don’t recommend using them.

I disagree. I think the orgasm gap has to do more with selfishness gap, the rest is probably some women have harder time to orgasm.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/26 12:44 AM

Honestly it really depends. When I used to date I did really well on dating apps and people I knew irl asked me how to improve their profiles because it was a barren wasteland for them. They were getting almost nothing, only likes from women they didn’t actually like ( I don’t agree with the way they swipe).

what if you meet someone who genuinely catches your attention in an ordinary place, like a grocery store? If you're respectful and honest about your intentions How is someone catching your attention at a grocery store? You like what’s in their shopping cart? If you’re cold approaching someone in a place like that it’s usually for their looks and women don’t want to be approached just for their looks. If you approached her just for her looks then you probably approach a lot of women and they aren…

I’m tall, well above 6ft, and I don’t want to be valued for my height. I didn’t do anything to acquire it. I’m happy it’s part of me and for it to be part of the attraction. But to be mainly valued or want to be valued for it is very weird.

I don’t really care 😅 I have been approached for my looks and for my social skills. Doesn’t make a difference to me what draws her to me first or what she notices first. But I don’t want someone to be with me just for my looks.

My actions during the relationships. I want her to value how much of a good partner I am.

Attraction is complex and men want it to be simple. “I think I look as good as her, she is less good looking than me, or maybe slightly better looking than me therefore she must be attracted to me.” It doesn’t work like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 05:47 PM

Yes. Just because someone is a virgin it doesn’t mean they will be a bad partner or will be bad at sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 04:31 AM
3

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 04:05 AM

There’s a big difference between giving someone a compliment and they aren’t into you and stalking them ! I doubt 14-15 yo are looking at these lists.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:47 AM

Because it’s not based on reality, people would read it and think they are doing it to make themselves feel better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:41 AM

Why are we justifying stalking and creepy behaviour? They should know better
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:37 AM

Yea surprise her at work with flowers if you’re her partner not a stranger or an acquaintance!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 12:32 AM

I have a feeling the men don’t think of it as stalking but as the beginning of a cute romantic story
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 11:29 PM

Men also care though that’s what I was trying to say. This isn’t a gender thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:28 PM

I googled it to make sure and it wasn’t fitness related. I thought maybe it’s a new thing or something lol I’m not the smartest tool in the shed.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:25 PM

I have heard it from a guy friend too. He wanted a woman with a college education. I think the belief is they have knowledge gaps compared to college educated people. I personally don’t care if they are college educated or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:24 PM

Don’t give them ideas !!! 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:14 PM

Probably negligible amount. When I lose weight I focus on diet not cardio. Cardio makes me want to eat more lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 10:06 PM

Did the date happen?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 09:55 PM

Ah okay, I feel that guys in that range are different than guys under 40 when it comes to dating and expectations from women. At least from what I hear on Reddit. But at the same time they say Gen Z is more conservative and misogynistic. Idk who to believe lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 07:54 PM

What’s your dating age range?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 07:51 PM

What are the biggest differences you noticed between dating there and in the U.S?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 07:31 PM

Are these compatible men local or foreigners? I’m not judging I’m just curious lol

Some People are selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 04:21 PM

It’s very rude to agree to a plan then ghost. If you aren’t attracted to someone why even like them on a dating app.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 03:45 PM

I’m sorry 😞
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 03:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 03:33 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 03:30 PM

Well I’m no chad. I prefer the lion 🦁
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:39 AM

Being tall doesn’t make you a chad lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:31 AM

I’m a couple of inches taller
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:29 AM

How did the people good at it learn? Seems like an excuse for their creepy or rude behaviour
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:29 AM

Height. Otherwise I’m quite average lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 01:27 AM

Is this the meat you got 50% off?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 12:05 AM

Some people can’t have attraction without a strong emotional bond first.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 10:44 PM

They have high standards. High standards for relationships and low for casual.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 09:32 PM

VERY pretty!
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 09:20 PM

I didn’t say they don’t like. I meant it was seen as a deal breaker before. I don’t know you, I just gave an example. Even if you don’t fit what men are looking for you can still find someone who likes you and get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 08:43 PM

For example they could be telling you no man would take you because you don’t cook and based on their generation men expect women to cook. But it’s not something that men care about these days.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 08:34 PM

I think their reference was men of their generation but this generation of men have different preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 08:31 PM

If you attract women and you’re tall then you can most likely do it if you were short. Harder yes but not over for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:11 PM

I have friends around 5’7 and they do pretty well with women. They aren’t conventionally attractive either.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 07:08 PM

You said mainly which means the opposite is the exception and above average men are so numerous to be an exception.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:44 PM

That’s what you think but men select as well. Women select in the sense when a decent man ( I’m not talking a top 20% chad) is newly single or available women in his life and entourage would take notice and make a move quickly. These men also get to pick. Women don’t pick in the sense they have 100 unsolicited DMs from strangers, go through them and pick.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:37 PM

Well you said the men don’t want them. How do you know the women don’t want them either If they haven’t shown interest in them?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:16 PM

So They have options deemed by the “dating market “ to be their match? I removed the treat them like shit because it’s hypothetical and even you said “will likely”.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:12 PM

Weird but not a deal breaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 06:03 PM
13

Can we stop using “men are lonely and sexless” to justify the poor way men treat women and make it seem okay. Fine you guys can act weird while the guys who treat women like people get to be with them
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:56 PM

It’s their fault they have very unattractive facial features? You don’t know what these women experience is like.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:47 AM

I don’t think you all know what a lot of unattractive women look like which reinforces their claim when they say they are invisible to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:43 AM

But non attractive women don’t start with attention nor have any options. You can read many posts about it on Reddit and there are subreddits about it. You’re excluding a big portion of women to make your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 02:56 AM

There are no ugly women? A lot of women vent about being invisible to men and undesirable and this post supports that. Not to mention a woman can be pretty but if she has a really bad personality she won’t be chosen. So no a woman being unchosen isn’t a bigger failure. We should move on from this notion that men or women being unchosen are failures. There is more to life than finding a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 02:45 AM
9

You decide what boundaries you want. A lot of women aren’t okay with their partners watching porn and they shouldn’t tolerate it if it makes them feel bad about themselves etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:59 PM

Yikes! 3rd wheeling is not fan! Sorry! Wdym by you find a lot of aspects of human socialization to be a humiliation ritual? Do you have examples? I can’t think of any besides asking your friend to take a picture of you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:50 PM

This isn’t a rule. You’re taking people’s opinions as rules.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:49 PM

I heard a lot of people use bumble bff to look for dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:46 PM

You might be confusing an advice and a rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:29 PM

There are no rules in dating. No do this get a relationship. It’s all subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:24 PM
10

Maybe we should start holding men to higher standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 11:03 PM
9

Idk about that. There are studies that shows otherwise..
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 10:50 PM
6

If he loves you he would find alternatives to porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 10:44 PM

Women shouldn’t accept that men will watch porn no matter what. If it’s a boundary of hers she shouldn’t accept that her man watch porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/26 10:22 PM

I think way less than 1/3 of users are women. Nice to see a post where women aren’t blamed for the loneliness epidemic.

I’m not attracted to men but I see as many good looking men as women. But men and women don’t have the same criteria for attractiveness I guess. Like women say x woman is good looking and I can’t agree at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 12:05 AM

Women get approached in person more than men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 11:40 PM

You do realize that hitting on multiple women in the same environment would get you a bad reputation? They would think this guy hits on anyone, he doesn’t like me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:43 PM

Nice guys are usually self proclaimed nice which in itself isn’t an attractive thing to do and probably repulsive. Being a nice shouldn’t have anything to do with dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:42 PM

They say all kind of things about other men. Perspective on how men are in general or men in relation to dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:27 PM

Can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:24 PM

Because it sounds fun! I have a lot of female friends that I talk to about books and other topics ,send cat pics etc. Having someone you enjoy their company, laugh together and have food together is better than having sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 08:05 PM

Isn’t this harassment? I have seen this user @ multiple people on daily threads to ask them are you there
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 06:39 PM
10

Yes, it’s all about visible consent to being approached. You can see the women’s reaction when approaching her, if she looks like she isn’t open to the approach and talking and the person approaching disregard that and ask her out anyway then yes it seems creepy and uncomfortable. Even if the approach is the same, disregarding the person’s openness to approaching them based on attraction or other factors and doing it anyway is a negative behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 04:22 PM

First of all, not being able to attract the person you want is a big issue. Why would you want to be with someone you don’t desire? You also have men swiping on your profile without reading what you’re looking for, for example saying I don’t want kids and getting 100’s of likes from men wanting kids. There’s also ghosting. Going on a date fearing for your safety, and yes safety issues are dating issue, I disagree with the person who commented otherwise. Men pretending they are looking for ltr bu…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 03:32 PM

Just because dating issues are different in nature doesn’t mean they have unequal impact on people. Women’s dating issues aren’t a minor annoyance to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 03:19 PM

No? I didn’t say women don’t have dating issues. There’s a lopsidedness in attention and it’s men’s fault for the way they swipe and DM female strangers on every app that has a message function. Edit: Men are usually trying to gain access to women. Women are usually trying to secure commitment from the subset of men they truly desire. One side is struggling for entry. Why are men aren’t seeking what they want from women they truly desire? Maybe they should just go for the ones they really desire…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 03:02 PM

It’s funny to me how women are blamed for the dating issues when it’s men who are the ones responsible for this lopsidedness
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:53 PM

No problem. It’s a logical conclusion to come to lol the phrase is actually Latin not English
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 06:40 PM

Post-hoc means after a thing or in this case like as a conclusion to
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 06:38 PM

I don’t think this is true. It’s just for whatever reason women who approaches me first or show interest first usually aren’t women I’m attracted to. As for why they view them in a toxic light if they aren’t attracted to you but they would still have sex with you, they would be more forward and blunt because it doesn’t matter if you reject their advances since they don’t care beyond sex. I feel that it’s the same for guys who send sexual messages on dating apps early on.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 05:57 PM

That sub is hilarious, the comments feel so surreal and dystopian.

I don’t think the saying came about because guys become more attractive but I think it was meant to imply that women become less attractive as they age much quicker than guys which is not a true statement.

The use of the word had access in the title and paragraph feels wrong. Edit: it sounds like sex is something a woman gives you or let you do to her instead of it being for both of you.

She gave the reason of her question then said, “let’s say” as an example. A lot of people fixated on answering based on anal instead of OP is interested in. She isn’t interested about their opinion on anal. I don't think most (normal) people here think in the way the OP is trying to lead them into. I don’t think she is leading them anywhere. There’s no gotcha here. You can just say no I don’t have an issue with it being anal or any other act.

I feel that a lot of people are missing the point and fixating on anal..

No, people are allowed to change their minds about things and set up new boundaries. I’m assuming it’s a different scenario because I won’t be asking for anal. Edit: just to clarify since I’m assuming I asked for a different thing, no justification is needed from her for saying no to something she did in the past.

Even if a person doesn’t say these words irl, if you say them unironically online or think in this way behaviours of someone who says them would slip into their day to day interactions. I can tell x person probably think that way based on his interactions. Before you say I’m making assumptions based on their behaviour, the said behaviours are unattractive and probably an issue.

It depends on how short he is, for example if he is around 5’5, he would appeal to less women but it’s not over, he can’t say the reason I’m single is I’m short, if it is then he isn’t trying hard enough.

Calling people beta bux, among other things you said in this comment gives us an idea why you’re single also has to do with your personality. And don’t say now that I’m putting words into your mouth.

I don’t agree with a lot of posts in that sub, but their action came as a result of the formerly mentioned problematic comments. So these men can’t claim the high morale ground nor they are doing nothing wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:10 AM

What kind of gaslighting is this? So you’re making an unrelated statement? If so why are you bringing it up then since there are women shorter and less good looking for you? You’re making a statement that doesn’t have anything to do with your dating woes? If you think 99% of women want these men is the reason you’re failing to date? Then you’re making a wrong assumption that women only want to date men above a certain height and looks thresholds.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 12:08 AM

What’s wrong with women wanting someone taller than them and is attractive? There are women shorter than you go for them? There are also women as attractive as you or less attractive.

No it’s not because he says he is unwanted. But when you say 99% of women only want a man taller than them and is attractive, we start to see an issue. Women can’t have reasonable standards? What if someone tells you can’t ask for an attractive partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 11:35 PM

not successful enough, people act like it must mean he is lazy, entitled, misogynistic, insecure, or defective in some deeper way. No, people don’t make this assumption just because someone is rejected. When it happens it’s because of something else he said when he vented or whatever.

A lot of people do a job because they like it and it’s their passion, flexible schedule or bring them a lot of money. Most men don’t pick their jobs based on how much it will impress women.

Your effort and aid should be telling him how to change and become a nicer person or whatever his issue is, not to introduce him to someone else and make that poor person suffer. Hold on. You said broke and ugly then say looks are king! Where did the broke part go? You can still get the into a relationship broke and ugly if you have a job but it is very challenging and you need other great attributes, don’t expect your partner to be amazing in looks though or rich.

Ah yes my statement is valid and yours isn’t because I said so. Here’s the thing men and women rate attractiveness differently. When you see a guy and think he is above average in looks they might think he is below average. And it also differs from person to person. Let’s assume these women dating men far more attractive than them. Why is it the women’s fault and not the men for dating people ‘below their league’, assuming they are only dating for looks?

The ones that are being mocked, aren’t being mocked for being chronically single but for being vile and hateful towards ‘Chads’ and women. /r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:06 PM

According to the study, assuming it’s true. Not women but 78% of women. Maybe 78% of women are great looking. They are matching with men who liked them. So blame these men? I’m tired! Why is it a great injustice to pick from the best options that liked you?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:17 PM

If you’re presented with options you’re going to select the best ones. Why is this hard to grasp? Or seen as a great injustice? Friends showed me some of the men they match with, trust me they aren’t all chads. I have seen them match with overweight men and men I wouldn’t consider good looking. So to know for a fact that women only choose the TOP men in terms of looks and status is nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:09 PM

Idk about being the SAME, but this isn’t a good argument because all profiles aren’t the same. so men with bad profiles won’t be selected nonetheless. Do you want every men to be selected regardless of his profile? Edit: not to mention that a lot of men are probably aren’t even shown to a lot of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:01 PM

but they have the world view that women are choosing subpar men and then blaming all men for it. I was replying to this
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:24 PM

Even 100% of women, 200k women can’t all date the bottom 80% of men, 800k men. It’s just not feasible and you all gonna cry about the 64% left and so on. There are simply waaaay too many of you on Dating apps. You can’t force women to join online dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:16 PM

Plenty of ugly men who don’t hit the gym in relationships with women. What’s your excuse? Maybe the external circumstances is in your control and you’re aiming for the wrong people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:10 PM

Not good also means morale incompatibility. we don’t blame external circumstance. My dude, Reddit is filled with men whining and complaining about external circumstances.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:05 PM

There are wayyy more men than women on dating apps if there are 1 mil men and 200k women, I read somewhere in the past that men outnumber women like 5:1 on dating apps probably even more depending on the area, then 78% of women, 156k of women are competing for 20% of men, 200k men seems balanced to me?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:02 PM

So men are telling you to choose better, what does it have to do with women then? If women are telling women to choose better then that’s between them. Allergic doesn’t mean bad, but it’s not good for you. I’m not falling for your rage baiting.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:56 PM

Told by men or women ? I don’t think I saw a woman tell a man to choose Better. Buffet means nothing if you’re allergic to like 95% of the food there. I advise men not to settle with what they can get .
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:45 PM

If you pay attention women aren’t just blaming the men they are dating, but the men who send them rude messages online, their creepy inappropriate colleagues or strangers etc. So blaming isn’t just about dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 06:39 PM

I post it in the jokes section

People don’t tell men to choose better because they aren’t here complaining about choosing the wrong partner, they are complaining about not being picked. Men tell women to choose better because they imply that they are choosing the bad boy red flag willing instead of them the undesirable nice guy.

I used to get nervous and anxious about exams for topics I’m good at so I totally understand. Think of it this way, if it’s 4 weeks then you won’t cover that much material and you will probably crush it 💪 Edit: plus you already took stats before so you have advantage over others.

I think you’re getting downvoted because ‘having regular access to a hot woman’s body’ is frankly very disgusting and objectifying thing to say, not because men aren’t allowed preferences.

I get that, but these people say stuff like I won’t do x because I don’t have any benefits which shows in their daily lives, conversations etc even if they don’t outright say it and it’s not an attractive quality.

Social skills for relationships isn’t just about getting good at talking to people. You can be good at talking to people and present yourself well but you aren’t a good person and always vile things so most people won’t want to date you.

They said I don’t put any effort into dating and expect him to do all the work? Even if a few of them said that, I went on dates where she paid for the whole date or brought me baked goods from their work etc. I’m not saying some don’t expect that kind of dynamic but definitely not most of them. I didn’t say selfishness is unique to men, don’t twist my words.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 10:02 PM

I don’t think I have seen any women say this on this sub and if some do then they aren’t for you, not to mention this isn’t my real life personal experience. Also I wasn’t talking about dating. Do good things in your community, friends, neighborhood etc.

First date is easy because it doesn’t take much for a Lot of people to say yes to it. They get to know you on it then decide you ain’t for them. With online dating they might use older or edited photos to get a date and naturally there won’t be a second one.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 09:28 PM

From my conversations here, I realized that a lot of men are single because they are unkind, they won’t do something good without benefiting from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 09:25 PM

I think movies can be a problem if they lean too much into a social dynamic, since a lot of people think that’s how it works in real life. Ye I agree someone’s hotness isn’t a deciding factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 02:13 AM

You mean my theory is illogical or their logic. t’s definitely a stereotype if you can call it that that the attractive guy is a player and bully while the good guys finish last. Movies definitely didn’t help, especially the ones with high school jocks and ‘nerds’.

I think the logic could be that either the chad is working a non lucrative job or unemployed so they don’t want to settle with him meanwhile the average looking guy doesn’t have the look so he has to compensate for that with money. I think that’s why they say something like she settled for her husband and Chad is her true love or whatever. Other theory is Chad has a good job and all but don’t want to settle down for a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 01:42 AM

But he would be picked for a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/26 01:38 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 11:07 PM

Idk man, I do vent to female friends sometimes, usually not about dating and they didn’t weaponized against me later.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 10:36 PM

The thing is a woman most likely won’t make a post asking why are males gaslighting me when I vent. If she vents she would vent to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:42 PM

It’s weird to call women females then vent to women. Why not vent to your male friends in your life or in the other subs. Why do they have to vent to women or women have to care about their dating woes..
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:37 PM

That’s a morale failure then. You shouldn’t just care for that reason alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:30 PM

The thing is I think men need to do better mostly when it comes to being a good person. Here’s the thing you say studies show men are better at handling emotions.assuming these studies are correct, single men with red pilled views aren’t among these men. /r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:27 AM

It’s not about having a positive example of masculinity? I think it’s mostly lack of learning how to be a decent person or what to value. If you grow up in a house where your dad doesn’t help your father you may not want to help your partner when you grow up because that’s how you know relationships work. Or if your mom does everything for you. I think parents should sit with their kids and teach them how to be decent and independent. But sometimes this isn’t the reason. It’s not always the pare…

I was unhappy isn’t stupid. He could be making her life miserable. Is he helping her in the house, with kids etc? I doubt anyone just leaving their partner for just being bored. Could be over simplification and it’s the same as didn’t feel anything. What are the reasons to losing feelings. I don’t want to call it stupid but the norm for Lots of parents seems to be to stay together for their children. Is it a good thing? Who knows.. especially if they fight in front of them.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 05:35 AM

Pretty sure I read online people calling men who raise kids who aren’t theirs cucks or something. Obviously I don’t share their opinion. His logic is probably men are desperate for relationships that they will wife up single moms which is a bad thing because it raises women’s standards and women with kids can leave their partner for another guy they like.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 05:33 AM

I think he wanted to say women would be more willing to leave their partners because another guy would pick her. Which is silly leaving your partner isn’t easy on the mom and kids. You wouldn’t choose that without a good reason.

I’m not trying to tell any story to others, I dress for myself and what I think is nice and I try to look confident in whatever I’m wearing but that generally by posture and how I walk not necessarily clothes. Fair, I’m not saying I’m objectively right. I could be wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 08:05 PM

I see what you mean. The goth thing was an example. Because if you dress like that you’re not looking to be viewed in a sexual way but some men might assume so. Basically I saw sexualization as taking something inherently something non sexual and making it sexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 07:28 PM
1

Sexualisation is more than just bodily for example the current sexualization of people from certain cultures or goth representing people. If you’re dressed goth it’s not surprising for a guy to come to you and start saying sexual shit. Objectification is more about physical traits I think. I could be wrong though.

My self worth isn’t tied to anything. I’m a person therefore I have worth and respect. But to give an answer based on your motivation. Being a positive influence in my community like smiling at and helping strangers, being there for people I know. I guess continuously seeking knowledge too makes me feel more valuable’ to myself. I believe self worth should be tied to inner things and not materialistic stuff like being rich or having a nice body.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 07:13 PM
1

I can’t relate to this but I think there are two types of people. People who do all of this to be appealing to women to find a partner and start a family. For others it’s just a flex to be wanted and also sex, they probably don’t care about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 05:59 PM

I’m saying genuinely make effort to be a good person instead of faking being a good person.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 05:05 PM
16

How about instead of being fake, work on being a nicer, more pleasant person? Saying unhinged things at work isn’t being real, being rude isn’t being real, if it is then you should change. You should know when to speak and when to remain silence. If you don’t say anything it’s not being fake. The effort you put into learning how to be fake and playing games put it into being a better person.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 04:50 PM

It’s the same thing for guys too. Obviously the first thing a person notice is usually your looks. But if a woman keeps mentioning a feature in you or your height. Then it doesn’t feel great because it feels like they are with you for that one reason and not you as a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 03:54 PM

I don’t think standards are necessary tied to attractiveness. You do see attractive women with not attractive men. What men find good looking isn’t necessarily what women think is good looking and vice versa. Not to mention it varies by person.

I’m honestly baffled that contributing to society has anywhere to do with genetic stake. You contribute to society to be a positive influence in your community and because doing good should correspond to your value and ethics. Contributing to society in what? Having a good job? You’re compensated for that.

If you think the majority of women want that then I doubt you interacted with a woman in a long time. And for the second point, my advice is to stop consuming alpha male and maxing content. Obsessing over a partner isn’t healthy but the need is understandable. Obsession over casual sex signal jealousy, attention seeking and often leads to mistreatment of women especially from guys who can’t get it ‘without trying’

Your values and what brings you happiness should show you what to prioritize in life. How come a lot of women who are romantically unsuccessful decide to stop dating, but for us guys if you’re romantically unsuccessful you should sulk and think you’re worthless instead of focusing on other aspects of life that might bring you joy?

I do understand it because you get these reels on Instagram about you should date a high value man and such. But from personal experience and what I hear from my female friends I agree with you. It’s just unlike what people here would want you to believe not all women go for the same kind of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:39 PM
3

The point isn’t to make you desirable but to fix the shallow need to be the centre of attention. Sleeping with a woman won’t make you desirable to a different woman. Women don’t look at men who sleep with many women and say oh wow I didn’t know so many women wanted to sleep with him I should do it too!! And honestly if you’e telling women that you sleep with many women they would think it’s a weird thing to say and they won’t sleep with you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:35 PM
2

Obsessing with being extremely desirable isn’t good and honestly probably a reason to go to therapy. If you’re not desirable at all then it makes sense to work on your character and look within reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:31 PM
13

Men obsession with casual sex is truly astonishing to me. Like I understand being obsessed with wanting a partner if you’re failing at dating, but being obsessed with casual sex is just weird, seems like an unhealthy obsession and screams I want attention, the goal is for women to give me attention because I’m jealous of the attention they and some men get.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:25 PM
11

I think what he asserts is, women want ‘high value’ men and by not selecting other men, these men feel inferior because it’s hard not to tie yourself to your dating status. Still very sexist post though and my advice for OP is therapy to work on tying your self worth on things more important than their dating status.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:14 PM

I live in a western country where during hangouts people often divide bills equally but back home people often do stuff like pretending to go to the washroom and instead pay the full bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 05:45 AM

I don’t personally relate to him. But yea they usually say something like next one on me, they insist on 50/50 or want to pay the full bill. Very rare when a woman doesn’t acknowledge the bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 05:42 AM

I get that but I would pay for a stranger if I had a conversation with them if that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 05:30 AM

Paying on a date doesn’t make you a paypig. There’s a difference between treating women you know on a date and giving women you don’t know money online..
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 05:27 AM

Fair. I encountered women who insisted to pay 50/50 and some wanted to pay the full bill. I let them after saying no it’s okay I got it once. I don’t want to fight on who’s paying. One time a woman was surprised I paid for the full bill, she said she had to pay for her and the guy before, multiple times. They didn’t offer to pay..

/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 05:46 AM

Well the most complaint I see if you approach a man first he shows less effort and possibly takes you for granted, which kinda makes sense since people try harder to impress those who are probably not into them. I think women still approach men first if they think he is act or I don’t like using this expression but I don’t have another way to say it, ‘out of their leagues’, most of the times I get approached by women is from women I have no interest in. Successful experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/26 02:14 AM

Are you speaking from experience? Is this what you had to do to get in a relationship , or are you speaking about what it takes to be successful at dating whilst being unsuccessful?

Idk man, I’m not from the west and had no issue getting dates in the west.

Most passport bros and passport women are use their power advantage to get a more attractive and/or younger partner.

I think a lot of women marry for financial security, not just women some men do it too. Be it the guy is able to upgrade her lifestyle or because life is too expensive when you have a single income.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 07:02 PM
9

I talked about this with a friend recently, if your wife has to treat you like her son ie clean after you, take your appointments etc. She won’t desire you as a partner in the bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 06:58 PM
1

A lot of people marry for security or out of convenience, they are willing to sacrifice love if someone is willing to cook, clean and have sex with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 06:55 PM

I think some men who give advices here or make some wild assumptions about women while presenting them as facts of what women want, have probably never been with a woman romantically before or went past the initial flirting stage. If you tell them otherwise then you don’t know what you’re talking about or you’re listening to women and they don’t say what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 06:27 PM
1

Dude there are women that give bad advices online but implying that women advices typically turn you into simps and lead to you getting controlled and abused, is just nonsense. How good the advice is depends on the person, not the gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 11:03 PM

Sorry I have to ask after this take..Are you really married ?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 08:12 PM

I just feel that most people here aren’t keeping an open mind nor want to change their opinion, they want their opinion validated and if you say something that doesn’t fit it then you’re wrong.I still come here to share my opinion but reply to clear any misunderstanding but I’m not entering in a fruitless debate with people saying bad things about others which is usually men talking nonsense about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 08:04 PM

Ye of course. I keep seeing don’t ask a fish how to fish when a woman gives a dating advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 07:58 PM
6

I mean I enjoy them too and I’m not a woman 🤭 my female friends talk to me about their dates, their marriage etc. Of course, I just feel that it attracts men struggling with dating, which makes sense if they are red, black pilled or maybe purple pilled hehe
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 07:57 PM
21

I agree, the majority of partnered men don’t spend their time on Reddit, more specifically Reddit subs that discuss dating. However, partnered women seem to enjoy this kind of discourse, I’m not saying they shouldn’t, it’s just a funny observation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 07:51 PM

In my comment I talked about passport bros and similar mouvement, moving from NYC to upstate new York isn’t the same. I think the first part of the first paragraph holds some truth to it in most cases if you aren’t a minority where you live, if you fit the average beauty standards where you live then your personality or and politics are what’s probably holding you back, but I wouldn’t consider it cheating if you move from for example somewhere dominantly democrat to a republican city.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 12:21 AM
-2

I have never seen someone saying you should be able to successfully date where you’re born. In the case of passport bro or passport gals and similar mouvements, most people don’t have an issue with you trying to date outside where you’re born, the issue is there’s a power inbalance and that might lead to abuse, probably financial abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 12:12 AM

I would say at home by their husbands/bf
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 04:28 AM

I didn’t check their comment history but reading the post I didn’t believe op is a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 03:14 PM

I’m pretty sure this is a man, this doesn’t look like a woman’s writing style to me and also the account is two weeks old. I could be wrong tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 03:13 PM
0

I get what you mean. I think ideally you shouldn’t think about a real person while “having a great time” but if it’s fictional character then I think it’s fine but I wouldn’t tell my partner. I do still think it’s technically a bit of an emotional cheating but it’s harmless.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 10:16 PM
9

To me yes, if it’s not to you then you should do some self reflection to see why you hold any rich abuser to a higher regards than someone with great character earning an honest living.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 10:12 PM
3

This is interesting, I consider watching porn of other people as some form of emotional cheating or betrayal. Desiring other people sexually won’t make your partner feel great about themselves. In the case of fictional characters I wouldn’t call it cheating but it’s still very hurtful since they have unrealistic body types or parts. I wouldn’t recommend consuming porn in a relationship or while being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 09:58 PM

Where were these rules stated ? IMO high value is about what you have on the inside not shallow things like money and looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 09:53 PM

Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t necessarily call a cheater a high value man
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 09:46 PM
22

Absolutely not, I don’t think a lot of people here if not all are interested in changing their mind, they aren’t here with an open mind, they just want their beliefs validated and are very convinced that the opposite opinion is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 09:05 PM
1

It’s not that simple. Every woman has her own non negotiable and might be looking for something completely different than another. Just be someone women find interesting, pleasant to talk to and they have to find you somewhat attractive, the last one varies a lot from woman to woman because I’m convinced some women would absolutely not care about physical features if you’re well kept and show effort, I did talk to such women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 06:29 PM
-1

Being a nice guy isn’t enough! What else do you have going for you personality wise or look wise?Women probably aren’t seeing a reason to be attracted to you, and it’s not because you’re too nice. You’re not entitled to a relationship because you are nice and think of women as people
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:40 PM

Do you mind further elaborating ?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 03:37 AM

Yet another men pretending to be an expert on what we men want and don’t want. I talk to a lot of female friends about dating and they absolutely want emotional intelligence. Do some people also want emotional validation sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 10:58 PM
2

I mean I personally don’t think it’s acceptable for men to be promiscuous especially if they want a non promiscuous woman. I read men saying men can be promiscuous but women can’t because it’s much harder for guys to get s*x. Which is nonsense to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 04:32 PM

I replied to this in more details to a comment with a similar reply to yours
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:29 PM

I see your point, it crossed my mind as well. Ultimately I associated couldn’t handle it with freaking out, keep bringing it up in the future, keep asking how he compares to them or decides to end a relationship. But ye you both are right, my reply could be put under the label ‘can’t handle it’ too
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:22 PM
2

I was replying to you saying “ if I had any partners before him, he wouldn’t have married me” so I assumed no sexual partners at all. I think seeing some men on Reddit talking about how it’s not okay for women to have a past but men can influenced my initial comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:17 PM
5

It’s not that we couldn’t handle it, at least me personally, it’s more like you don’t want to picture them in your head having s*x with someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:07 PM
5

Not all women would mention but it would be silly to break up a relationship if she mentioned she had sexual partners before you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:05 PM
9

I don’t think it matters, there are way more other factors that matter in a serious relationship than if a woman had sex before in a previous marriage, when she was a teen or a long term relationship in her 20’s. You can have whatever standards you want but don’t shame people.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 02:49 PM
2

I don’t ask about past sexual partners either , I’m okay with her having past sexual partners but I don’t wanna know the details
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 02:40 PM
30

IMO men irl don’t ask questions about past sexual partners. It doesn’t matter to them as much as men on Reddit say it matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 02:28 PM
6

I mean ye men won’t approach a woman they don’t think is attractive ( some do hopping she would be desperate for sex and they are wrong) but I think they are more likely to approach a less attractive woman over a more attractive one if she is very approachable, Tbf unapproachable looking women still get approached but mostly by the guys they don’t want them to approach.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 09:19 PM
3

I don’t personally endorse clubbing and partying but there did miss on social experiences. Another aspect is people since they are kids are getting dopamine all the time from social media, video games, p*rn etc I think that killed their motivation to socialize with others outside of their gaming group and now they are adults with no social skills they don’t know how to interact with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 05:43 PM
5

I agree, but these days a lot of people not just women who want to be approached don’t look very approachable (I’m not just talking in dating context or saying that women who say they don’t want to be approached secretly want to be), people are more introverted and antisocial. It’s easier as a man to say I’m just not gonna approach anyone anymore, maybe a woman will approach me at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 05:34 PM

I wouldn’t say looks but how much he is into you, and looks play a big part when it comes to attraction but it’s not the only factor. If you’re attractive but you’re not fun to talk to I’m not gonna put any effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 10:54 PM
3

These are men who probably won’t find a partner, I think these are outliers ( same as most men in this sub). Men need women for companionship and also this is a part some of you might hate but to start a family if he wants kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:54 PM
1

What did you do to meet people instead of using dating apps? Or did you just give up?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 10:50 PM

Then maybe frame it as a question for provider men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 09:38 PM
0

actually it isn’t complicated, a lot of men want a relationship but are also open to hookup if they think the woman is attractive enough to sleep with but not date, introduce to friends etc. So when they put looking for a long term relationship they mean it if you’re good looking enough I guess. I do blame the dating apps too since on apps they have “access” to all these women and what’s stopping them from looking for both a relationship and hookups.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 09:37 PM
4

Not just unattractive men get told that, unattractive women too. They assume someone who is on your “level” look wise would like you if you are a good person. When I go outside I see couples that I consider both of them unattractive so don’t hit me with the unattractive women want Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 08:57 PM
13

People here seem to be shocked when attractive men and women have some social advantages. How is this surprising lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 06:32 PM
6

This ☝️, like 99% men who post here about what women want are clueless about these things cuz they talk about situations they never experienced. A confident attractive men lovebombing a woman by telling her “ I miss you bae” would make her cringe and be seen less attractive unless the woman also is a lovebomber and comes off too strong too soon herself as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 06:07 PM
3

actually in a way I think that porn is a reason why courting is almost non existent. Back then if a man wanted to “fulfill his desires “ he had to find a woman to be with him so he had to put a lot of effort and court her because there’s no other alternative. Nowadays men have other means, they can watch porn and see as many naked women as they want so they are less motivated to pursue women. Yes it’s not the same experience but it’s way less effort.

Kinda hard to treat someone special male or female when dating apps made it normal for people to go on multiple dates a week while seeing you and also the economy sucks, we are on survival mode with all the layoffs Edit: the fun less serious answer: same as women levelled up, became educated and joined the work force earning more or as much as men whilst men still expect them to do most if not all house shores. I didn’t say when he asks her for a first date, a lot of guys would keep doing “nice things” to have interactions with the woman until they have the courage to ask her out and when she rejects them then you hear stuff like “if you want to know where all the good guys are then check your friendzone”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:16 AM
0

You can be both nice and awkward but it’s a different kind of awkward when doing something nice because you like the woman even as a guy I can spot it when I see it. Edit: for example being nice because he wants to ask her out he will try to prolong the interaction in an unnatural way and he might stare at her too long but if he is just being nice the interaction just ends and he goes on with his day without extra talking or staring etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:04 AM

I think you can tell my body language, how he treats other people and the vocabulary he uses when talking to her because most of the time they are awkward around women.

This seems to be another guy speculating what women look for in a guy or how they judge guys without listening to what actual women have to say about the matter. You said men overrate women so seems like this is a men problem to solve not women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/25 02:32 AM

I find that people that usually “throw themselves at you” are people you wouldn’t find attractive. I can relate to that, most women that approach me or give me signs in real life or send me fb invite or follow requests on IG are women I wouldn’t want to date. So i definitely get that women have to put effort to get the men they desire, it’s not as easy as just existing and going through your DMs. Edit: seems that men and women are more likely to approach someone if they find them more attractive…

Ye I understand. My question was like if you feel say its 70/30 with child care or house shores what bonus would bring it back to 50/50
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 08:02 PM
1

What kind of bonus would you like to have ?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 07:56 PM

Absolutely, for me personally hanging out with my female friends, fulfill the “itch” for female companionship so I don’t go on a date since I can get a better experience hanging out with a female friend. Even though it’s not the closeness you mention.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 07:55 PM
1

Fair enough, usually when I read about women saying he has to add something to my life, they mention that they get companionship from their community etc so I’m confused about what else they expect him to add if they’re a fully functioning adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 07:49 PM
15

So maybe we should stop expecting men to add something to women’s lives and vice versa beyond companionship since they both have a fulfilling life on their own?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 07:38 PM
19

men don’t offer anything really That’s kinda interesting, what are they supposed to offer? I’m a single guy who hasn’t asked a woman on a date since his last relationship. I live alone, cook, clean, and have fulfilling friendships with men and women. Using the same logic What can a woman offer or add to my life?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/25 07:25 PM

I keep seeing this brought up on Reddit. The first paragraph is NOT just a female friendship thing, male friends do act that way too. If your friends don’t, look for better friends.

1- Why is marrying a woman with multiple past partners a bad thing? What if he also has multiple past partners? 2- Even if you aren’t married you still need to divide assets after a breakup as if you were married. Depending on where you live and how long you have been together and in case you have kids, you pay child support in like every country. Why are all types bad??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/25 04:46 AM

But some women do cheat on the guy they wanted! I want to sympathize with you and I do, seems like there are a lot men acting in an awful way online towards women but your point of view of men are bad women are good makes it hard to. Maybe I’m misunderstanding you though.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 03:20 AM

I get that the house shores part is expectations kept on women today from the era before women joined the workforce. But it’s actually white collar jobs , women always worked, everyone worked, even children, some women get to be housewives and didn’t work but I don’t think that’s a common experience worldwide throughout history. But I do understand your sentiment. The loyalty part, women cheat too, cheating isn’t a men specific issue and some women go specifically for married men and men in rela…

/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 02:40 AM

You said the man she desires but it’s a problem if the man she desires isn’t him. They are delusional.

No you don’t understand, she must only desire him and be willing to have sex with him but not other guys, if she did that for other guys then she isn’t wifey material, he thinks he is that special. Men and women are the problem in dating, a lot of men aren’t the way you portrayed men in your post and a lot of women aren’t amazing either and have a lot of qualities that make them bad partners.

I think because historically most men didn’t struggle with dating or marriage and despite the fact that a lot of men are chronically single nowadays for different reasons the assumed default status for an adult male is being in a relationship, so if you say you never been in a relationship or with a woman then you fall below the average male. But I don’t see why you should be going around telling people you’re a virgin, you want sympathy or you trying to bait a bad reaction from them? I feel tha…

No because the most pressing issues are the ones you’re disregarding in the first paragraph, men and women aren’t on the same wave length when it comes to politics and dividing responsibilities in a relationship, no amount of third space is fixing that. The solution to the “money issue” to choose economic policies that decrease the cost of production? It’s not that simple and honestly it seems to be partially written by AI if not fully.

I feel that this whole male loneliness epidemic is misunderstood. Mainly because a minority of guys are vocal online. No, men don’t want women to fix the “male loneliness epidemic”, men in real like don’t even refer to it as a male loneliness epidemic. Well that’s how dating used to be before apps. Maybe not closeness but focusing on one person at a time. Now you just open an app and you have 100s of men matching with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 02:38 AM
6

because men who think like this probably get 1-2 matches a month, they don’t have the choice to talk to multiple people so they think it’s unfair the person on the other side can.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 01:11 AM
6

Do I like it ? No, but should they stop? Also no! Why would they not go through their options to find the best partner for them? It sucks for you and guys in general cuz they have less options but it’s great for them. A lot of men who say they shouldn’t plan other dates when talking to someone would probably do the same thing if they have the opportunity.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 12:59 AM

You might be onto something because some women online would bring up leagues after breakup and giving an ugly guy a chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 06:37 PM

Leagues tend to refer just to looks and women seem to value personality more than men when it comes to attraction. Dating apps are superficial by nature you can match with an extremely attractive person and have better personality than they aren’t showing in their profile.

Sure but I thought that they would be too focused on their relationship and life to care about what single bitter men say, especially since they aren’t in the dating market. It seems that partnered women care about this kind of content more than partnered men. A man would probably say “ I am in a relationship, I don’t care what these men or women say about relationships.”
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/25 11:11 PM

Sure sure it’s funny women in relationships seems to be more interested than single women, maybe this sub is a bad example but for example the passport bros sub has partnered women arguing there with men and it’s not necessarily a “normal” dating sub. Again partnered women can browse and post in whatever subs they want it’s funny that they seem to be outnumbering single women in these subs.

It’s kinda interesting that a lot of women in relationships are very active in subreddits where a lot of red pill, passport bro and “incel” ideologies are being posted and discussed. Not saying they shouldn’t be there, it’s just an observation.

Most men when entering a relationship with a woman don’t wonder if she is a hoe or not. For some reason it’s something men who can’t get into a relationship seem to fixate on. I don’t think you know what cuckolding is if you think not caring about a partners past means you’re a cuck.

💯! I’m convinced this type of posts here made by men who never been in a relationship, because who wants to be with a man with these ideas, then they write what they think they would feel/do in a relationship as a shared men experience.

the male equivalent most men would agree is if a woman claimed to be low count You think men see this as the biggest betrayal?? I mean if they were religious and she said she is a virgin or something then sure. But men who actually get in relationships don’t care about body count, it’s not something you would ask a woman. If you asked and she for something didn’t stop seeing you and lied about it then it’s a betrayal but there are bigger betrayals.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:54 AM

I noticed that when men make these type of posts they only have attractive women in mind. When I go out I see plenty of women dating men yall would probably consider beta buxx but for reason yall don’t think it counts.

The way you described the red pill ut sounds like a way to not take accountability. Which is ironic since a lot of them say women avoid accountability all the time. I do agree that some people been abandoned by all types of community but those are really rare. For a lot of them include sure there are people in their community they can reach to for support if they didn’t close these doors themselves by being obnoxious.

Sure frustration from women. But women aren’t really doing anything to them, they have frustrations from women because they have agency and standards? Seems unreasonable to me.

Sure, if you’re lonely because you’re desliked and bad with people then maybe instead of becoming red pilled seek therapy or other forms of help? seems like something they could work on.

Average person, doesn’t mean their qualities are average in scale, a “5/10”, for example if the average person have poor social skills, no hobbies doesn’t mean women should date him because he is average so he isn’t that bad. Maybe a less attractive woman would be open to dating them but they probably won’t look past it because she isn’t a “5/10” when it comes to looks and that’s probably all they care about.

I think if you’re a RP men then you probably don’t have much going on in life, at least not romantically. I feel that people who do either identify with the blue pill, purple or just don’t care about pills. I see that adopting red pill ideas comes from frustration and resentment, usually towards women.

Men don’t refuse to acknowledge that, people who think like op do lol sex probably isn’t in the top of things that make a relationship with women beneficial.

I never encountered a woman like this. I have a feeling you saw some reels or something online and yall are talking about it here as a personal experience or facts.

This post is very misogynistic and demeaning to women 🤮 The way you’re talking about women in relationships and sex you come across as someone who has no idea what he is talking about and this is all a work of fiction not based on experience. Yes a minority of women don’t perform in relationships but most women do. I think way more men don’t perform in relationships than women. You’re confusing what you think women would be in a relationship with men they aren’t interested in. Women absolutely “…

Pretty much. You think a woman who would have a conversation with a guy harbouring such thoughts in his brain would find him attractive? It sips into conversations.

I think they want a reason to be mad at women, why else aren’t they picking them if they aren’t just dating alphas while the nice guys are in the friendzone ( btw the stuff he lists in the friendzone part is their fault, the woman didn’t tell them to give her special treatment). The second part is i think how he imagines he would behave if he was able to attract women whilst not being a nice guy. Picking extreme examples to show how dating is broken and how nice guys suffer in this dating enviro…

His post is red pill fiction, I stopped taking it seriously after “alpha” the I read the insult virgin men. Women don’t do that, they want it to be true to have a reason to be mad at men . Some women do avoid virgin men because they don’t want to teach a man in bed and teach him how to do relationship emotional and actual work not because they are disgusted by them or something.

These people are clueless they don’t know how relationships work. They want to be loved for existing. I would like to see if they get a partner would they still love her if she doesn’t provide emotional and domestic labour.

Because his intention seems to be gotcha see women want to hookup with Chad then settle with the safe nice option when they are old bs.

So this is a confirmation of your intention..

This sounds like fishing for an answer that would suggest woman want to hook up with the hot men then settle for the nice safe option.

Because probably they either can’t get to date someone “equal or higher” or they want a partner who they can walk all over and treat them better than someone in “their league “ would but mostly the former.

Of course, I went to engineering school and I met some who were quite obnoxious.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:46 PM

Men who claim they are logical or smart are probably the most obnoxious group of people I meet and they have a hard time forming relationships probably because of that.

Women now are more educated and don’t need to get married to survive or not to bring “shame” to her family. A relationship for women now a want not a must or something they are forced to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 03:44 AM

I actually agree that they are dating less because they realized the evils of the other gender. There’s a compatibility issue between men and women these days and I think the people on both ends consider the other evil or at least very undesirable. Example, women consider men voting against their rights in the U.S as evil.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 03:25 AM

I disagree because it’s very hard for women to find a man sweet. sharing the same values as her is a big part of being “sweet”, if she thinks a guy doesn’t care about women rights or other issues ( it varies from woman to woman) then guess what? He isn’t considered sweet! These days men and women are very divided when it comes to values, so a lot of men you consider as sweet women don’t. Hence to them he isn’t a good man according to your criteria for good men.

Interesting, I didn’t look at it from that angle.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 12:26 AM

Idk where are these women they talk about. I was gonna say social media influencers demanding provider husbands but these people are probably making money.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 12:04 AM
18

That’s silly! Nowadays women are probably more ambitious than men career wise. The women I know who demand a “provider” partner are very career oriented and independent. Funnily enough, I think men who say that say women are freeloaders, men have harder jobs and men are providers, they neither have a harder job nor are providers.

Honestly I have never seen this so called female mating strategy and male mating strategy. What comes to mind is women being more thorough when vetting potential partners and men getting whatever they can ie swiping right on everyone on dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 08:06 PM

I disagree. This is neither male vs female nor younger vs older there are enough people under 30 only looking for serious relationships and “older” people only look into date around not to be considered a rare minority.

Care to elaborate? A lose- lose situation unless you’re also asexual. Dead bedroom relationships aren’t good. No one choosing this irl unless they are desperate.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 06:27 PM

I don’t agree that ignoring women and focusing on working on themselves is a good advice for these men. That’s how you end up with men emotionally stunned, no relationship intelligence and entitlement for women because they did all the “right work” so women should be attracted to them.

Aww thank you! It might change again if I come up with something better with Chad in it. Exactly! You bring up a good point about “the village “. Hard to rise kids if you live in a small condo that you probably don’t even own whilst having no one nearby to help you if you need help. I think in general people are no longer offering to help without expecting something in return. “Why would I be your village if I’m not planning to have kids and won’t need a village?“ I don’t necessarily think peopl…

This might be more complex than it first seems. Back then people had a lot of kids but kids were expected to work and contribute to the family at a very young age. Now having kids isn’t bringing families money or labour but it’s costing them a lot of money. I think this is a big reason. A lot of people say they want to have kids but can’t afford to. I also think the birth rate is dropping because of contraception, finding a suitable partner. women are no longer forced to marry nor to have kids i…

How did you come across this superior wisdom? Have you seen who women match with? Or Internet heresay?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 05:54 AM

My dude I wrote that they don’t much with “8’s” or “9s” except the good looking ones! Stop making baseless claims and spreading internet misinformation.

I mean based on dating apps and chaads who lower thier preferences for a casuaal hoookup some mid women may feel that thier loooksmatchh is a good looking top 20% men My average looking friends aren’t matching and hooking up with chads.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 05:13 AM

There’s this myth that very attractive men or what you call the top 20% settle for women way less attractive than them. I have a lot of female friends, good looking and less good looking. I have seen their partners and people they match with on dating apps and guess what, the not so good looking ones aren’t matching and dating the “top 20%”, just your average looking dudes. Sometimes I tell them you can do better! When I go outside I don’t see good looking men with average looking women. Yes you…

I think he means they don’t take accountability for their actions that repulse men. Which makes no sense cuz women seem to be repulsed by these men and these men do whatever they can to get into a relationship with a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 08:41 PM
73

This makes a lot of sense. The only point I want to make is I think they don’t want women to settle for them, they want to change what women find attractive to match what they offer. “ it’s not settling! She shouldn’t be attracted to or choose the tall handsome guy. She should be attracted to me because of what I offer. I don’t want her to think she is settling. I want her to find me more attractive than him. What I offer is what should be considered attractive.”

Oh if a female friend have a romantic interest in you and you’re single, you would get clear signs, it’s rare that you won’t, so don’t go around asking out friends who didn’t flirt with you, that’s how you get friendzoned.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 12:41 AM

Women aren’t supposed to have any standards according to you all? You can be average looking and a woman would like you, especially if you met in public and your personality showed through some sort of act of kindness or something not towards her or approaching her.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 09:33 PM

These shows and movies are probably written by men, so they show what men think women want lol

What’s wrong with an average woman if she is nice and makes you happy. Things like education, higher income and higher social background ranges from secondary factors to non factors but would be nice to have I guess Edit : typos
