If entitlement is the marker of lacking self awareness, what about men who think women should cook for them? Or the man who does pay for dinner and gets pissed off when she doesn’t go home with him? Or the guy that gets pissed off when he feels like women pass him over? Self awareness (and lack thereof) is not based in gender. I think self awareness is marked by being able to see a whole situation without judgement and without feeling like it reflects on you personally.

Either you befriend women and it will most likely increase your negative thoughts about them because it will reinforce what you have hear online, or you hang out with men who are equally unsuccessful which can lead to an echo chamber that also helps reinforce and validate your negative feelings. With all due respect, I think this is a wild take. Befriending women for the genuine sake of building friendships and experiencing life and people will likely, imho, lead to a newfound realization that w…

And there are women saying the opposite as well. I think a large amount of women are superficial and assign value to gender norms and financial status but im certain it’s not all women or even a majority.

Truth. Sometimes you’ll see a couple that has no hobbies or interests in common but they are absolutely perfect for each other somehow. That isn’t to diminish the overwhelming majority of relationships that do have a lot in common tho

Men, just like women, want to feel needed and seen. Some men inappropriately think that insecure women will “need” them more and be less likely to leave or more forgiving of their (the men’s) shortcomings. .

Any time you treat an entire demographic of people as one person you will be confused. Not every woman is afraid of men in the same way or to the same extent. Women are generally afraid of going to the gas station at night, but alas there are women who go to the gas station at night. The inability to see all of men or all of women as a group of individuals is the Achilles heel of this sub

It would be possible to have a strong female workforce that also allows for having children. Many countries have safeguards, allowances, and perks for having kids. Guaranteed time off, health expenses covered, etc. Late stage capitalism countries make cost of living extremely high so that everyone needs to work with little free time and then they’re like “but why aren’t people dating and having kids??? 😢”

The inequality of the “dating market” is perpetuated by the gender roles that both genders perpetuate. Male and female gender roles are so intertwined it’s naive to say “men are responsible for x” or “women perpetuate y”

OP, it sounds to me like you don’t even entertain the idea that two people can date and be happy with each other. Many people feel like finding the perfect partner means finding someone with similar humor, hobbies, and beliefs. Once they find someone like that they stop searching. Why keep searching for something you’ve already found?

That’s very surprising- completely contrary to my own anecdotal experience. Seen dudes laughed out of parties for saying stuff like that

What do you think when someone inevitably rejects him for talking like that?

I think they match up with equally boring women. Sometimes people just want a relationship to check off the list of their life. Sometimes boring people are the most stable. A “stupid and dim” guy is still better to have a conversation with than an aggressive and manipulative guy.

I feel like that may mean accepting your humanity and the fact that men too feel sadness and love. Stoicism makes something like crying seem like something to be overcome rather than embraced and encouraged like the normal part of life that it is.

I think telling men to ignore their emotions more than they already do would worsen the male suicide statistics by a whole lot

Some people are susceptible to abusive stuff like Love Bombing. Some aren’t. Some see the sudden onslaught of attention and enjoy it and want more. Others see if and think “wot the hell is their deal”

It’s insecure to think that someone else’s sexual past determines your own worth to them in the present. when trying to build a life with an bad boy/promiscuous guy. It’s difficult to argue against an imagined hypothetical scenario.

I think you mean actions? I feel like you’re trying to apply black and white reasoning to two different situations. My original comment was stating that someone’s value isn’t determined by the amount of partners which I think you’ve gone off the rails from seeing

Using the past history to gauge the safety of a violent offender is one thing. Thinking someone is less valuable for having had multiple consensual partners is another.

It only matters according to how insecure the current partner is, imo. Men are raised to believe their value comes from how often they get laid, after all

I’m sure you’ll be able to find people that both do and don’t look down on it. Keep in mind that people only look down on others when they’re unhappy with themselves.

If it’s a kink then they’re the ones getting gratification from it, not pathetic If they just don’t feel sexual but want their partner to be satisfied what’s the problem in that? Some people just don’t see the same value in sex that many here see in sex, and aren’t bothered by non-monogamy. If they know they would be happy in monogamy but the partner is sleeping with other peoples that’s a pretty sad situation. I don’t think gender really affects it for me.

Nothing. It’s not like TRP or Tate are “converting” anyone. It’s a grift for men that are already personally frustrated.

I think it’s an advantage that men aren’t typically assumed to be inept or that men don’t typically have their success questioned due to their gender.

Do they need to be shamed or do you just personally resent them?

Being husband material in modern times means from women perspective means I don’t find you attractive enough for casual sex This is from the viewpoint of Redpill where every woman is trying to hop of the carousel to lock in a man for financial support. I don’t think this is the case for a large amount of people. “Husband material” just means that the man will be good in A long term relationship. He won’t flake/leave and has his life together. I think it’s also implied that his personality isn’t …

Any broad generalizing will only hurt you. I realize the irony Thinking “all men do x” or “all women think y” will start spirals of confirmation bias feeding off your insecurity. Same with things like racism

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
