Chores are an excellent tool (no need for allowances)! Never too young to not be useful! I never find much "meaning and satisfaction" in housework, I mean come on, it's a "chore"! Sometimes I bribe myself with cookies, or do a hobby for 30 mins and then back to chores. I don't think it's realistic for most women to find their souls in the dirty laundry. Also, there's an art to "good enough". The best I can do doesn't always have to be perfection. :)

Right, thanks, I understood. While I don't really do "flimsy language", my point is that the mindset in partnership is "complimentary" rather than better than. That mindset kind of makes being a bitch about something unlikely!

While I like the mindfulness you present, it's really hard to read this with language like "better than." For clarification, I'm rarely thinking of better than/less than when it comes to places in my marriage where I am more successful or get more favorable results. It doesn't fit into the "complimentary" dynamic? I don't mean to offend or be negative, but it's really hard to get around that phrase!

I always love the bad guys so maybe you shouldn't listen to me >< Cillian Murphy in Red Eye Tom Hardy (well hell, he's just devastating in any role) as Bane and in Lawless Leonardo De CRAPio in The Revenant

first he was Australian, then American??, then there was a "user", then it was a wife, then there were others, ??? IDK, the whole thing is like a joke or fishing or idk what. Never mind!!

The whole thing seems like BS now. It seems like the "story" unfolded or even actually morphed based on replies. It would have been more straightforward to have told the truth in the first place.

Thanks for bringing the cultural aspect into this, it really changes the tone of this topic.

So did this "user" have behavioral issues that caused a reaction from her husband. This is all starting to sound like a shit show hug fest for women who use periods as a reason to act badly or demand extra attention.
/r/RedPillWives18/11/16 04:58 PM
2

But when in a relationship they have little idea of when they happen.. I'm pretty sure they know when a period is happening. Why do they need to help their partner? This is just basic stuff.

Basics like anatomy, estrogen/testosterone, and BC were part of my children's homeschooling. My husband gave them the humor around it while I set them up to understand the facts. I think it's a mistake to think men don't know about menstruation and fertility and "feelings". Maybe some don't but casting them all as ignorant until YOU teach them is silly. Likely, they understand it all perfectly well and are just ignoring the "feelings" part of it. Not that men don't care about feelings but more t…

Do you feel like social media and the internet in general increases the sense of competition among women? Absolutely. I think we mostly view ANY other woman as competition. We place them either above or below us. Social media saturates us in it. What impact are advancements in the porn industry having on the SMP? Do you personally feel pressure to compare to those women or have you seen this affect someone you know? I never identify with women in porn so there is no pressure or comparing. they m…

Rape is bad, and it's traumatic. That's how I lost my virginity (hello baggage!). But you can get over it. It's not some cross to carry around with you for the rest of your life, and it's no excuse to be pissy to someone because they "triggered" you or because they made a crude joke. Get. Over. It. You'll be fine. Life goes on. Thank you. So many strong people out there who move forward and make a good life for themselves and family! You can't stay stuck in the victim stage forever!

My Aunties spent a great deal of money to have their colors done back in the 80's. They only wore those tones and always looked so lovely. I follow my color chart makeup wise but not clothing. Everything I own is black! Edited to include: Back in my day, you had your colors done by an Estee Lauder or Merle Norman retail. It was a really big deal!

Your situation is literally a mirror to mine. It's difficult to talk about the facts in a way that doesn't cause others to reflect on your partner as "shitty". It won't matter how carefully you choose your words and still accurately describe the situation, some people cannot fathom what you are dealing with, have no experience with it or advice to give that makes sense for you. Empty judgements, whatever....keep moving forward. I think you will find some comfort in your life if you remember to e…

Gone With The Wind is a goldmine of characters, ideologies, and social construct! The characters in it play well into the Alpha/Beta spectrum and it is an apt representation of the male and female dance of leadership and deference. I think that younger generations who did not grow up with the movies and/or the books will likely not understand what I'm saying. It's worth the reading or watching though!

It may be easy to be a "red pill" wife if one has a perfect husband, but not everybody does. Nobody has a perfect anybody. It is not easier for everyone else but you. This is an excuse and feeling sorry for yourself will only sour your disposition further. I say that with kindness and it's something I'm working on in my own marriage.

Frankly, you are already either capable and willing to do and be all of that, or you are not - regardless of the gifts a man may bestow upon you in hopes of kindling just that. I understand your point but it doesn't really relate to these articles.

We've been married 8 years, together 12. Laughter, lust, and common goals have carried us through the ups and downs. Mostly laughter and lust :) My best friend remarked recently that it was clear my husband and I enjoyed each others company. That was such a nice complement to receive and it made me happy and proud for both myself and my husband. We've held each other up in the bad times and come back around to the easy times by just never quitting. It's the one thing we both refuse to do, to bac…

eh, best to chalk it up to you being grumpy and ill. In my experience, the times I don't feel well are the times things irritate me the most. My family has a joke/rule about complaining. Anyone who complains must also list 5 positive things about something. It's gets funny and it's mostly a joke but it also works as a reminder to look for the good in things, especially when it's hard to. Hope you feel better soon.

I really enjoyed reading this and other stuff on her blog. Her download Goddess read was on point, although grammatically irritating. Statements of anger that start with "YOU" are almost always going to shut the receiver down in, any type of relationship. I don't really relate to her saying it feels good to point out "his" flaws - that's not something I feel when things are serious enough to start pointing. It feels terrible.

This week, I've been hanging out with my husband while he works on projects instead of doing my own thing. We work well together so I jumped in and learned a few things and we talked about future plans. I guess how that relates to the topic is that I've been struggling with faith and patience the past few months and it's made my husband feel judged and frustrated. My point is that she is not ignorant of the rules and is not going to admit wrong doing. Dense means slow or thick or dumb. This is why it's a bad idea to use emotional language and name calling to discredit someone or something. It is the lazy American's way though, dismiss emotionally what we are too lazy to research and analyze.

She is not being dense. She is not incriminating herself as is every person's given right under the constitution. No one with 30 years of political grooming is being dense about the rules.

It seems to me that this forum is acting as described in the side notes. An article about what feminists are saying during election time squarely fits. /Red Pill Wives (RPW) is a subreddit where like-minded women discuss sexual strategy from an anti-feminist, traditionalist, and/or evolutionary psychology perspective. We also explore related subjects such as culture, current events, science, history, and philosophy!

Anyone stupid enough to think that Hillary cares anything about women or their supposedly victimized rights is a fool. I'd wager Donald is more concerned, and he doesn't give a shit either. I have self-proclaimed feminist women friends who boldly state that all women must vote for Hillary because they are women, a truly irresponsible use of a vote. It actually sorta supports people who think women shouldn't have a vote! I find that humorous and satisfying.

They are pickled eggs, yes. I eat them as a protein snack either by themselves or sliced onto salad. I use a brine that is comparable to bread and butter pickle brine, heavy on the turmeric and 1/2 organic homemade ACV with raw or unfiltered honey as the sugar. They are so very easy to make and if you are willing to make them and store them for 6 months, the flavors are really very nice.

Fears I am always worried about the future. It makes me anxious. Like will I have enough money? Will I have enough love? Will I have enough XYZ? It makes me anxious and I'm usually terrified that if I don't do something NOW NOW NOW that those things will just slip through my fingers. Thanks for sharing that and your AA prayer. I agree. But if I stop and think about it, the time I invest here and not doing my work or taking care of my family, has to be an experience that doesn't also add to my stress or anxiety. This generated a lot of that for me and that's not a place for me to get cozy. So, first, continue to focus on everything that is good about this man. It will calm you and it will shine through to him if you let it. Then, when you are calm talk to him about this. I watch how hard my husband works and I try to keep up lol. These dark Fall days get me off-center easily so I try to look for signs in my behavior that I'm slacking. I don't think anyone is immune to falling short of their relationship goals. The important thing is to apologize (through corrective action) and move forward quickly. Constant self-checking is what I have to do to keep the level of perceived respect intact.
