Well, this isnt just a Male feminist thing, or a feminist thing... and that's indicative of am even bigger problem, which is why I agree with your overall point. Just chiming in to say, I understand their frustration and agree with the beginning point, but I also feel the way this thread has gone is unnecessarily alienating. Dont mind a downvote or 7 to say so.

Based on my experience on purplepilldebate sub, that is indeed nearly all of them, yes.

I agree with your post overall point, because while its not a need, humans are hard wired for bonding, we thrive with it, and romance can be among the most deeply fulfilling bond there is. That said... i do think you're misunderstanding atleast some of the intent behind "focus on yourself". It is a matter of self preservation, and utility for us to apply ot focus to self-betterment over romance. We have to focus on ourself, because the romance is not in our control. Anything we want but cannot t…

You bought up a lot of different topics, so I did my best to address each one. I was aware the chance of you wanting more than passing responses to each part was low, but hell, thought it was worth a crack.

This, but also, get some hobbies that a lot of men happen to frequent. Chill on r/Askmen and r/menslib. Men are a mixed bag of fucked as much as we are. Trust. Most the worst of them are operating from a source of hurt, loneliness, fear, and insecurity. Like us.

Was "Negging" what you were thinking of?

You articulated this very well, and said what I was going to. I'm another woman here just to piggy back. These are a few of the lines of logic that helped me avoid the misandrist trenches. I happen to have a lot of hobbies in common with the average guy, many of which are somewhat social hobbies. Engaging in those spaces helped me grow more trusting and comfortable with men. In that time and now I see no shortage of cruel sociopathic behavior from men, especially when they discover I'm a woman. …

Youre making this a bigger deal then it should be. Than you want it to be maybe. I think it's a big deal that so many of you are incapable of speaking about this topic without getting twisted into volatile pretzels over what has nothing to do with the words we actually said. In a sub intended for debate that is strange, albeit expected. But some of you will insist that it's money or looks to blame. I can comment whatever i want and if people agree they upvote. The functionality of reddit's karma…

It's very relevant actually, that's why you didn't start rambling about movie trivia instead. It's relevant because it shows that regardless of what actually comes out of her mouth, your instinct was to connect it to the nearest adjacent trauma in your life and that was where you responded from. It shows you aren't replying to what is being said, but how it made you feel. This is atleast one reason why you aren't going to have fulfilling relationships with women, let alone discussions. Anyways, …

So the fiction in your comment is inspired by what they said, then adjusted for the baggage you have with women from your prior experiences. Thats a valid thing to feel, but they can't rule in a discussion where everyone else also has strong feelings and personal experiences to bring to the table. The result was a projected perspective that was objectively not what she said.

...no one wants to date a loser only obsessed with finding someone. People want to date people, not some empty lonely shell. This was the comment that began the chain you are currently under. Women think men that cant get laid are losers. This may be how they interpreted the statement, but it wasn't what was actually said. That's the problem. This is the invented voice I am referring to. You and others are reacting to how her statement made you feel, what it reminded you of, the women who have…

"They", as in, 'the-individual-commenter' I was referring to, said exactly what I stated they did. "They", as in, 'the-monolithic-cabal-of-females-in-your-head', probably say lots of things you imagine them to. None of those things have anything to do with what females outside of your head state, least of all me. You aren't capable of engaging in a debate if you hear other voices along side the people you are speaking to. Regardless, I agree there absolutely are women who insult men this way, an…

Yes and no. Men have this ability as well, though it seems to be less common/intense. This topic comes up on AskMen regularly and that is the general takeaway based on the comment section. The base level of unnatraction seems like an important qualifier people are not thinking about. There is a difference between lack of attraction and sexual repulsion. Some people are sexually repelling to me, they embody characteristics I specifically find repelling. Others dont have features that repel me, bu…

A) Its easier to attract more attractive people than us when you have money. B) Women can only find unattractive men hot if he has money or status. (A) is true without (B) being so.

They said making it your personality (letting it define you) is what makes them a loser, not someone merely lacking. Personally, it was disingenuous for them to imply someone must define themself by it just because they are really focused on fixing it. But it was recognizably not anything like the fiction in your comment would suggest.

So then how do you shame without being coercive? There are ways to encourage behavior without being coercive, and very good suggestions were given by an earlier commenter.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
