| 1 | Jesus, when my paycheck is $2700 and $2676 goes to my ex, there is something seriously fucking wrongI don't know what state you're familiar with but my state has a balanced approach that is fair to the breadwinner. The support withholdings are codified and standardized. When incomes change, support is easily modifiable. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/16 08:07 PM |
| 20 | Good News. The guy who hooked up with a girl who lied about her age has been removed from the sex offenders registry. The lack of of a mens rea requirement is how he was convicted in the first place. I didn't research this case, but it doesn't sound like an appellate court overturned the conviction or the law, just that a trial judge took the initiative to lower the punishment. So that being said, until the state legislature changes the law to add a mens rea or 'knowingly' language, then the next guy this happens to will be convicted and subject to registration as well. | /r/MensRights | 06/10/16 01:11 PM |
