It'll take awhile but she'll get bored of the next guy too. Even if she stays with the dude.

The stats are clear, it's nearly universally better for a child's parents to stay married. Women try to convince themselves (and others) that isn't true, but it is. No amount of cope from the will change that. It's selfishness.

If guys could be a fly on the wall and hear what their wives say about them their heads would explode. That would clear up your guilt reeeeal quick. She's giving you the crocodile tears and the "shucks, I really wanted to make it work but you left me no choice😪😔". Horseshit. She's known for years and talked mad shit about you the entire time to her friends. Family maybe too. She doesn't deserve your guilt. The only thing that matters now is what's ahead. Guilt is an obsession with the past. I do…

Yeah that one got debunked, but I'm sure reddit will still mention it for decades anyways. Men being vilified for all of this is pretty normal. Lesbian marriages have the highest divorce rates, but I'm sure there's an article out there somewhere that blame it on men not doing enough chores. Whatevs. "Women divorcing each other, are men to blame"?

women will agree to counseling, expecting the therapist to go "well, you were correct, he is to blame for literally everything" and when that doesn't happen, they'll stop going to counseling. Literally happened to me. At exes behest, we went to a counselor. Counselor told her that her shit stank too...she said she was done with counseling after the session....we never went back. If you go, and the wife admits things she does wrong too when called out, your marriage might have a chance.

Never heard of it but I looked and this was from the feminist sub reddit about it: "It makes women sound like materialistic, shallow manipulators who will exploit men for financial and material gain, take what they can from them, and move on to the next man with the most resources." The thread was pretty ironic lol. Like...they all knew that's exactly what they do, but they half-heartedly try to criticize it.

I don't know what "Walk away wife" is, but I do know lesbian marriages have the highest divorce rates. Oh, and in regard to her friends I've got another stat for ya. Your chance of divorce goes through the roof if a woman has a friend that gets divorced. Here's the thing OP, .....youll have have to call her bluff. Begging, "fighting for the marriage", pleading...won't do shit. women have to know you'll walk. You're gonna have to call her bluff and either 1. Divorce. Or 2. She's going to have to …

I had a (woman) Psychiatrist that literally told me your last line. She said the hard part of her job dealing with men and divorce, was keeping them alive for the first 5 years. It hits us hard but...we do tend to win in the end.

They're not sorcerers. They don't get the time back either. One thing dudes need to realize Is that the same society that only cares about us as long as we make money (or die in a war occasionally ) is the same society that only care about women as long as they're young and pretty. Theirs is more a slow burn but...they feel the effects too. Yall think your ex isn't gonna get bored of the next guy too? Lol. It'll happen. You think theyre not gonna say in their heads (or to their gfs) wow..."1st h…

Well either she leaves you now or you bend-over backwards for her and beg and plead for her to stay...and she leaves you later. 24 gives you decades to still build a good life. Get out now. Trust us on this...get out now.

Was just talking about a female mutual friend with My male coworker. She's 39, 60 or so pounds overweight, divorcee with two kids. said in a conversation that she wants a tall and rich guy. went out with a taller dude who made $18 an hr and shit on him for being "poor" in a group chat. He pumped and dumped after a few weeks. And she has zero concern that it had anything to do with her. Thinks he "must have problems". Has a shit ton of matches on tinder though. Here's the rub, she'll get in an LT…

My ex bailed a few weeks after we finally got her greencard in the mail. I Then learned that.. I was one of a million. Just Like you said "supported her for 6 years while finishing all her schooling" then bam. Or a few months after they qualify for alimony. One guy mentioned he raised her girl then a few weeks after his step- daughter graduated....you guessed it, divorce papers. It's the behavior of sociopaths. And younger men have the right to know, this is the name of the game. Women know for …

Women see marriage as an at-will situation. Guys, don't fall on your swords over this. I was at a party yesterday and I'm 90% sure two women divorced their husbands because...they wanted to date taller guys. At least that was a major factor by what they were talking about. And we men are supposed to mourn our broken marriages like monks? Lol. This post is exactly the societal narrative wevve seen about divorces for decades . "Women are long-suffering saints but even they can only take so much 😔"…

We met organically, in-person in her home country. So not like online or anything. And she came on a fiance visa 3 years after we first met. So i thought it was real. I think she liked me at first then when things got real serious and marriage was on the table she realized she didn't actually love me but wanted that sweet sweet paperwork. I now know I'm one of millions of dudes with similar stories. And I don't mean just a green card. Women know years in advance they're gonna divorce. And will u…

Thats super new. The problem with divorce is its so front loaded. The good thing about divorce...is it's front loaded. You won't miss her more a year from now (or 2 or 3 or whatever) than you do now. It's not all linear but it does get better. I tried to kill myself after the seperation. She left a few weeks after we got her green card in the mail ( 6 year process in all). I came home on a Friday and the apartment was empty. I never saw her again. I'm now over it for the most part. The emotion i…

"Also I have no idea what to do now, right now im simply at her mercy " nah OP. Let's get you back on track. You Let her walk. Seriously. Tell her if she wants a divorce you'll give it to her. Tell her tomorrow. women plan this stuff years in advance and it's most likely over. And the sooner you take back your life and say "you want a divorce...there's the door ', the sooner you can get back to kicking ass. Take back your life. And no longer be at her mercy as she's keeping you hanging as a plan…

So the hill that I'll die on with marriage is that women know way in advance they're going to divorce. Get 100 woman in a room and have one of them say they used a guy for 5 years knowing they'd leave him the entire time and not one of them would bat an eye. It's par for the course. So guys like you will change and go to counseling and...it means jack shit cuz she was planning on "eat pray love" long before she first threatened you with the D word. It's great you made the changes. But...knowing …

"It's been almost a year ago now since we seperated" that's still super new in divorce terms. Your divorce happened a fortnight ago. Women know years in advance. She was done mourning the loss of the relationship 18, 20, months before she even left you. Bro I was a mess until like 24, 30 months post seperation. I think you're doing just fine. Spend a decade missing them, spend a decade cursing them...they don't give a shit either way. Might as well be happy right? That's the conclusion I came to…

That's fair. If what she says gets in your head...post it here. I'll die on the hill that women know this stuff years in advance. And do it mostly out of boredom/wanting a new "adventure". Regardless, don't fall for the sob story that she's some broken- hearted Saint that is divorcing because you've given her no other option.

I'd give her a week. Let her know any more than that and you're acting under the assumption you guys are divorcing. For men especially you have to "be strong" and let them know...you'll let them walk. If you bed and plead they get huge egos about it. It's absurd to say but they then see us as "weak". Trust me dude, youre not alone. I was exactly in your position. Any answer but yes or no means she's playing you. Women, even in good marriages have to know we will let them walk. It's ok to be clea…

Because they spend years (and alot of money) wasting their lives on nothing in the end. At least with kids all the years and the marriage had a purpose for us.

About 2 years post divorce I fell down the rabbit hole of women and marriage counseling on tik tok of all places. my, yours and OPs stories are very common. Go to the counselor...the counselor tells the woman her shit actually stinks too...and they stop counseling and refuse to go back lol.

Also, assuming what you said was true, her 1. Coming back on condition you change certain things. And 2. You do. But she then divorces you anyways, sounds like shifting the goal posts to me. Dude, women plan this stuff out and you wouldn't be the first to get hit with an ultimatum, do it, but then the women be like "shit I was hoping he wouldn't do it, and he actually did it...ehh I'll divorce him still ". I know a gal that wanted her ex to cheat so she could have a clean getaway....he never did…

I remember a post on here about a guy that the ex admitted after the fact she purposefully did all she could to piss him off in order to set him off. Said it was like 2 years of that. After the china shop was nice and wrecked she hit him with the "ahh shucks, youve left me know choice but to divorce 😥" Is that the case in yours? Idk. I do know that people have their own agenda regardless of what you do and don't do. Women are masters at getting the guy to take all the blame. That's usually not t…

She's 100% using OP until it's convenient to leave. Not bashing on you OP, that's woman-101. They'll do that for years if need be to get their ducks in a row. But at least she's being so obvious that you have time to prepare.

In some ways it's red-pilled me more than my actual divorce lol. Her good friend has a caring, good husband and that women still talks with her ex-fiance in her DMs weekly. She's told me two dozen other stories with stuff like that. My divorce wrecked me but I told my ex...no way in hell will I be one of your little puppies in your dms after the divorce. Fuck that.

She wasn't constantly changing her mind. She knows exactly what she wants. She just needed to drop enough hints to you to keep you as the back-up. If I could grant one gift to men who divorce, just one gift, It would be to be a fly on the wall when these women are. talking to their girlfriends co-workers etc. My good friend owns a organizing/interior design business. The absolute arrogance and entitlement they share with each other about their husband's would blow your fucking mind. The amount o…

Two year blues strike again. Super common for guys to post on here at the 2 year mark. We all expect it to suck the 1st year, but hope year 2 will be better and are dissapointed when it's not. Took me like 4 years to get over it. With lingering issues into year 5. But you're way better off financially. So that should help. There's a reason we say "divorce ruined my life" not "oh my divorce was a moderate inconvenience".

'Mixed signals' means she going to string you along as plan B. How long she does, is up to you. I think 7 days to "have some space" is plenty. Let her know this clearly that to you going forward: "Maybe"=No. "I need more time"=No. "I'm not sure"=No. Trust me ...women will drop hints and mixed signals to string their spouses along for months if they can. It happened to me and tons of other guys on here. Take control of your life. Call her hand And if she wants the divorce....let her walk. Give it…

I'd say it's rare that at least one person doesn't come out of a divorce with their lives ruined. It is what it is. There was a book that came out in 2000 that was a 25 year study that asked if it's better to stay married "for the kids". The answer is...overwhelmingly so yeah. The author even got some blowback for the book back then. As far as the partners go... Not surprisingly the one who doesn't want it usually struggles mightily in the aftermath.

Yeah i call it the "two year blues". A lot of guys post on here at the 2 year mark. We expect year 1 to suck but it's a gut punch when year 2 does as well. I was like 3 to 4 years to get better too.

Two year blues strike again. I'm 5 years out. My dreams didn't actually stop. I had one with her like a week ago lol. But it's less frequent. Was the first one in 8 months or so. The good thing about divorce is its front loaded. I'm not naive enough to say that "you'll recover completely "! But you won't miss her more in the future than you do now.

Late 30s is when women really start to lose their looks and panic, and search out for more attention . And theyll start to hit hit perimenopause from late 30s to mid 40s too...you'll see divorces in your neck of the woods, don't worry.
