I can fully admit that I’m not a fan of putting myself out there or getting rejected. But isn’t cold approaching a lackluster method in general?

They really aren’t honestly. If you count makeup, expensive clothes, jewelry, etc of course they would appear more attractive.

That’s the thing, when it comes to attraction all that know it all stuff gets tossed out the window.

Nah I think it’s created by conditioning/media and the ideals of romance/love we absorbed from a young age. Disney romance and things related to it have a subconscious effect that I feel most people carry as they grow up. But of course most people realize that shits fake and decide to stick with reality. I also think people take the qualities of their imagined partner and place it on someone they’re attracted to in real life. That’s mainly with inexperienced and younger people though.

I get what you mean, I was just saying that the guys who are lucky in dating, generally don’t have these problems, like OP said, and in his eyes getting a relationship is a piece of cake, whereas to a below average guy like myself it’s something you spend your life fawning for.

I agree with this whole post. The more you’re exposed to the harsher side of reality, the harder it is to accept the good parts. For some guys continuous negative experiences are all we have to go off of, and it doesn’t really help that some of those things are further reinforced to be true. But not everything is an absolute on the positive or negative side, it’s all based on our personal experiences truthfully

Lol it’s hard for people to understand the “personality” is just a manifestation created by your environment and influences. Its not something concrete or absolute

It’s the general interest for most men. But I’ve always had a thing for older women, it’s something desirable about perceived maturity.

Friendlessness is much worse. That feel of loneliness everyday and night of knowing you’re undesired socially just sucks. Add sexlessness to that and I call that the birth of an incel, there are exceptions though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
