It wasn’t a test at all. He was being facetious. She expressed discomfort at your escalation. That never means she wants more. Use your head. Teasing does happen, but you should be able to tell if she’s just teasing from her tone of voice and facial expressions. Pay attention to how she responds to you making a move. Her bodily language and facial expression will tell you if she likes it or not. In this case, you didn’t even need to do that because she told you outright. “Awkward” isn’t a good t…

It’s crazy to me that being actively engaged in a conversation comes off as neediness.

You will continue to have a sad sad life if you keep this mindset. It’s guaranteed. If you take responsibility and work on yourself, things will improve. It’s simple and true, but you are taking the easy route by blaming women and your genetics. Until you make that mental change, get off this subreddit. This self-pitying shit doesn’t belong here.

Why do men who don’t get women think they know more about women than anyone else? It’s delusional. This toxic shit doesn’t belong in this subreddit.

Armie Hammer, Chris D’elia, Jeffrey Epstein, Roman Polanski, P Diddy, R Kelly, Danny Masterson, Russel Brand…….. You gotta get off the internet bro. You’ve been sucked into a twisted alternate reality. False allegations happen, but it’s a tiny percentage of rape allegations. It’s something like 5%. Of course physical attractiveness is a factor in dating success, but I guarantee the negative feelings you have about women is having a greater impact on your success. And if you are ugly, then have s…

It turns the conversation sexual. Even if she likes you, you still gotta escalate.

I prefer playful, and ask “What kind of dream?” Even if the answer is “not that kinda dream” it moves the conversation in the right direction.

It’s definitely not universal. I’ll hook up with a less attractive girl on occasion, sometimes the vibe is right and we’re having fun, and sometimes just out of horny desperation, but I’m only trying to date straight-up babes seriously (mixed results lol). There’s definitely truth in hot guys (or girls) being harder to lock down, but also hot people often have baggage, ego problems, loyalty problems, money/career problems, etc., that a woman may not want to deal with in a relationship. I feel li…

Don’t over think it bro. You’re not trapped in anything. Of course there are beautiful Asian men that crush it with women. Just know that you’re one of them, and you’re a catch, so act like it and don’t grovel for women that would be lucky to have you. I’m not gonna say things like racism and heightism aren’t real and have an impact on dating life, but if you internalize that, it will affect your behavior and confidence negatively. You’ll miss opportunities that are right in front of you. You’ll…

After getting a series of soft rejections, he took her into an abandoned parking lot, recognized her closed off and uncomfortable body language, and still tried to kiss her. Bro.

This sounds like you just want to expose yourself to women who haven’t consented and not actually to pick them up. Don’t do it. It’s creepy, and women talk. Plus, it might be illegal in Shanghai. Nobody here will be able to give you an answer on that.

You are personally petrified of being seen as a creep because of media.

I wish everyone would stop being so uptight about everything. People hardly know how to socialize anymore, and it’s making everyone anxious and distrustful. There’s a massive difference between flirting and sexual harassment, and it was well received in this case.

The best case scenario is recovery in 1-2 years followed by a much faster decline than normal. The worst case scenario is hell, and it happens to a high percentage of people that get the surgery. Just accept your height and be confident in who you are. If short guys couldn’t get laid, there wouldn’t be short guys.

Wrong post. OP didn’t ask “how do you give yourself the uncanny valley look, impair your mobility, and subject yourself to excruciating pain?”

Hopefully you’re joking. Can’t pick up chicks if you can hardly walk due to debilitating pain.

I’d recommend against confessing your love. That puts a lot of pressure on her. Just ask her on a date.

That book is so obnoxious, I couldn’t finish it. The guy is such an attention-hungry tool. No way I would read a dating book written by him.

What if you try to set a goal of intentionally getting rejected 100 times this month? Say whatever you have to to get rejected. Have fun saying ridiculous shit and make it a game. Re-wire your brain’s hardwired reaction to rejection.

Nothing works for everybody. I think I read it has a 53% success rate. I just started using it about a week ago, but it’s supposed to take up to a few months to start working, so I don’t know yet. Finasteride is a pill you can take. It’s supposed to have like an 80% success rate in stopping hair loss and like a 60% success rate with regrowth. My hair stylist says it’s pretty bad for your liver though. I’ve accepted that it might not work and I’m not going to cling to my hair if it doesn’t. A lot…

Change the script in your head, man. I’m 5’7” and my ex was 6’. She wore heels all the time, so she towered over me. It made me feel like a boss. You’re the one going out with a model-looking chick. You’re the fucking man, and all the other guys are going to be jealous.

Does post lay rejection count? At Bonnaroo, I met up with a girl I previously met once. Her friends wanted to go home earlier, but I convinced her to stay till the end, then drove her back to Georgia. We laid in bed and fucked for a whole day. She said she wanted me to come visit her again, so we made plans for a month later. Month went by, and I drove down from PA, where I lived at the time. The vibe was just weird from the start, but I tried to keep a positive attitude and pressed on. I stayed…

This summer, I’ve been spending a lot of time with a female friend who is very attractive, and seeing all the shit she puts up with on a daily basis has really changed my perspective on approaching girls in public. Like dude, she’s studying, leave her alone. We’ve had to leave a cafe because a guy wouldn’t give it up, even though she was obviously ignoring him, and even after I said something to him. That kind of behavior only makes meeting people harder for everyone. Recognize and respect bound…

This might sound cliche, but keep putting yourself out there, and learn from mistakes. If all you have in your mind is the end-result, you'll never get there. It definitely gets better, but you'll have to work on your don't-give-a-fuck. Learn to enjoy the ride and people will gravitate to you.

It shows intellectual curiosity and capability at least. Post graduate degrees definitely indicate above average intelligence. And anyway, I still don't see any stats that show men are smarter on average.
/r/MensRights20/05/17 11:41 PM

Do you have any statistics to support the claim that men are smarter? Women are more likely to get post-secondary degrees. I'm in law school, and we are outnumbered 40:60 by women at my school. It's incontestable that men are stronger and faster than women on average, and that's an obvious advantage in certain professions and back in hunter/gatherer times. However it's not the most important thing in our modern civilized society. Edit: Also, what exactly do you mean by normalcy?

Haha this is the way to go with basically any work issue. We are a team and we're going to solve this problem together (even though you totally fucked this up and I have to save your dumb ass).

I know what you mean; my interests are pretty specific. It's hard to be active with a job and other responsibilities, but I think the best way to meet people with similar interests is to just do your thing and do what you enjoy, but do it with a social mindset. Have you tried finding a local outdoor sports club? You could also try connecting through online forums. Many have localized pages. And I wouldn't just focus on meeting women you are attracted to. Just get out there and meet people, both …

Great line. I'll definitely use this. There is another neg/opener that I use all the time. It is almost always available and it has never failed to start a conversation: You see a girl texting at the bar, go to the bar and order a drink (you are not there for her). Look over your shoulder and say, "Really? You are in this crowded bar, but you still have to be on your phone?" (Or, "...but you still have to be texting someone else?" try different variations). They always feel the need to explain t…

Be more spontaneous (or at least pretend). Have an event or restaurant or concert in mind and start a playful text conversation with her. If you can get her to say she likes sushi, say something like, "OMG there is this in-fucking-credible sushi place close by my place." Continue the conversation, and a few texts later say, "You know what, you should come with me to that sushi place tomorrow night." Or if you can make a playful bet on something, such as what a character on a tv show you both lik…
