Eh, I typically don't get angry at water when it's wet. Single people hitting on attractive people is expected in my eyes. It's clear we just disagree on what a person who made no promises to anybody should be held accountable for, but fair enough. If I was in this guy's shoes, I wouldn't give a single thought about the other guy. He could not exist for all that I would care. My entire emotional dread would be aimed at my partner who cheated. And I certainly wouldn't "kick his ass" like some peo…

It is a good way to judge character, but the single person didn't make any promises to anybody. Still, it's pretty silly to hold them to a standard they never intended to be held to. Your significant other who made those promises to you... that's a different story. I just see an enormous difference between "being a shithead and pursuing someone you know is taken" and "purposely breaking the trust you've built and the promises you've made beween you and the person you're supposed to care about mo…

Even if the he does know, he didn't commit to anybody. It's a perfectly reasonable thing for a (presumably) single guy to hit on someone they're attracted to. It's the person who is in the relationship who is supposed to shut that shit down immediately. The full responsibility lies with the person who made a commitment and broke it.

Investing in a special night out for a potential romantic relationship is something everybody does. I'm not sure why you're reducing that to "he thinks he paid for pussy."

Why do you insist on saying people should be okay with that? You should prepare yourself for the possibility, but saying you should be okay with it is wrong, in my opinion. Again, humans are social beings and there's absolutely nothing wrong with not being okay with being alone.

and I think it’s silly to feed into this notion that you should to be with someone. and I think it's silly to feed into this notion that human beings aren't inherently social creatures that thrive when they have a (or many) companion(s), not alone.

Companionship is not the goal of life This is quite an interesting opinion being stated as fact. An opinion I wholly disagree with, for what it's worth.

Yeah, that's why I brought up mike tyson. Reported to have gone through 400 million dollars into bankruptcy. Still, from my perspective it would actually be challenging to spend enough to do that. Just seems so ridiculous. I wasn't disagreeing with you by the way, more just adding on to how crazy it would be to think "only" having 140 million dollars left puts you in a tough spot.

Almost anyone You can retire at any age off a few million with proper investments. You gotta be mike tyson levels of crazy to spend 140 million in a lifetime.

If you hit a cop you won't need the toothbrush, they'll knock all your teeth out.

Right, but if there's harsher consequences to the false allegations in the first place, they would presumably be attempted much less often.

It reminds me of a great quote from Margaret Atwood: "Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them."

It's not any of that...the male pelvis is shaped and sized differently, making it much easier for women to sit with their knees together.

I think she's saying that a girl that age never "wants it" and a boy that age always "wants it".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
