OP, it is important that this distraction is something that help you towards building your SMV. distracting yourself with porn or vidja will only work for so long. what has helped me is channeling the depression and anger at myself for allowing my SMV to drop so low into working out especially weight lifting, otherwise it just festers in my mind and I lose all motivation and suicidal ideation crops up.
