How do you use facebook to meet strangers?

How good are you at time management? Do you think you could get better at it? I don't know the details of your situation, but for the generic person whose having your general issues, I'd say maybe instead of trying to talk to 4 or 5 girls at a time and schedule dates with them, why don't you date one or two nights a week at time? Like a Wednesday (or whatever weeknight is easiest for you for the next day) and a Saturday/Sunday? I picked two days far apart so that you get to space out the work/fu…

I was kinda like that up until 26 or so (including your edit). My recommendation to you is to take care of your appearance (ie your haircut, whether you should or should not have a beard and if so what style you should have, your fitness, your skin, wardrobe, etc.). Ask your friends who are girls for advice. If you do not have friends who are girls, make friends who are girls. Changing your appearance won't change how you feel. At first at least. But you'll start to notice girls noticing you (Fr…

Think of people in dreams vs. people in reality. In one, they're not real people but manifestations that your brain creates. In one sense, they are you, but perhaps not the you you, but I'm digressing. In reality, people are people. They are a living, breathing other individual. They govern their own actions, have their own thoughts, and these often are necessary ingredients for our pleasurable interaction with them and also for our shitty interactions with them. So in your fantasies, these wome…

I understand now that sex really isn't that special unless you're actually attracted to the person you're doing it with. Yes, but how much of what you're feeling has to do with what others think about you? Because honestly, fuck them. You'll go through your life and there will always be haters and those ready to judge and not really offer a hand to help, but you know what, not a single one of them stays there through out your life. Are you worried about your college buddies will think of you? We…

Either she's just not very socially aware (Since when is it inappropriate to hit on or talk to someone around your friends?) or she's moderately/indecisively interested in you. I suspect the latter. There's probably something about you (Maybe she isn't completely attracted to you, and is keeping you on retainer. Maybe she likes the attention but feels like it's cheapened when it's directed towards someone else. Maybe she's into you, but she has doubts about you, like your intentions and what the…

Dude, introverts like some time alone, but not all their time alone. I call it the recharging time. The main differentiators between introverts and extroverts is whether they like interacting in large group type situations and going to places with lots of people like clubs and dance areas or whether they like more intimate one on one situations or the small group of friends type situation. But yes, introverts are capable of feeling lonely.

So you're kinda are feeding us the answer you think it is. So barring anything you failed to mention as being the cause of this (like that you might have terrible breath), I think what you're experiencing is the downside of "abundance mentality." So the utility of abundance mentality is that it increases your confidence which makes you attractive to women to some extent for at least a short while. The drawback of I've been seeing in the stuff I've read from these seduction sites is that the abun…

I definitely recommend it. Remember it's like dating, except you should try to see one at a time. You're not necessarily going to find the right one for you the first time. The personal rapport you have with the psychologist is supposedly the best indicator of whether psychotherapy (if it turns out you could use it/benefit from it) works for you. As for finding the root cause of why you are the way you are, that's more psychoanalysis which can form the basis of psychotherapy (if you feel you wan…

Instead of doing something that's amusing to the two of you, you're doing something that's amusing to only you, and even worse you're doing it at her expense. Now I'm not psychologist or an arm-chair psychologist, but you might want to see a real one just to try to understand why you do the stuff you do even when you know that the effect will be contrary to what you want. Now, donning my arm-chair psychologist hat: Maybe you never learned social skills and don't know telling a woman (or at least…

So for a situational joke/one-liner, your brain just has to make the right connection quickly enough. And THEN you need to relax your filter (basically be OK with who you are and don't worry about people thinking negatively of you, but appreciate how good it feels to get someone to laugh). This reduced filter will have you saying something funny more often quickly enough, but it will also have you missing a little more often too. But if you were comfortable enough with yourself, you'd be OK with…

This reminds of the line from the trailer of this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0406816/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_14 "You want to jump out of helicopters, but you're afraid to go talk to a girl." "Aahh, pretty much, yeah." The truth. Source - Went static-line jumping. Still get nervous when a woman looks at me funny. It's like I know I'm going to fuck up if I do anything, based off of history at least. The gift of gab and knowing how to better navigate social situations and conversations would be a…

Um... you don't have to exactly lose your virginity right away. The key is to be comfortable and to enjoy it instead of having the nervousness make you feel miserable and not enjoy it. The best way to do that, IMO, is to build it up slowly. Perhaps focus on fooling around and exploring and having fun the first couple of times. Maybe grind the first time. Get a blow job and perform oral the next time. And then maybe have sex. How you groom down below is up to you. I trim it and leave a pretty lib…

He could have complimented something else about her. He could have started a slightly flirtatious conversation, instead of coming at it with a sledge hammer of a compliment. Even if OP was/is a really handsome guy, this would not work with a high percentage compared to going there with the intention of flirting and conversing. Even if he initially got the I have a boyfriend comment, he would have been able to joke it off and continue to converse a bit more to the point where he could get back to…

Maybe I'm crazy for saying this on this subreddit. But why do you HAVE to stop feeling that way? Tons of poeple enjoy sex more when they feel connected, more wanted, etc. So there's absolutely no reason to go out seeking casual encounters if you don't want to or you don't enjoy them. However, if you happen to have one as you get into the moment during a date or you're in a phase where you don't want full fledged relationships but you do want a casual sexual relationship or whatever, you shouldn'…

It really annoys me when articles (and scientific research) like this completely ignore people who aren't white, and I'm always skeptical of whether the article they're citing really says what they say it said. That said, I should have spent my time working on my own research.

So I looked through the study. It's only done with CAUCASIAN faces. First they see from a previous study how eating carrots and taking a tan change skin color on average. For carrots, it's a 4.35 units increase in yellowness, a reduction in 1.1 units in lightness, and an increase in 1.4 units in redness. Similarly, for melanin, it's a 3.7 units increase of yellowness, a decrease 2.7 units of lightness, and a reduction of 0.6 units in redness. They construct a composite face from volunteers, and …

How are you in college, running 2 small business, and top 25 in your sport, and still have time to date? OK, putting all that aside, and assuming you're legitimate, own your shit. Be happy being who you are and don't try to hide it. But this advice is only valid if you're a kind person in most situations. And never brag or flaunt your wealth. But don't hide it either. If you've got to go to your country club, say I have to go play golf now, or I have a meeting at name of country club. But don't …

Man, I wish I were more impulsive, creative, witty, and funny/goofy. The Art of Seduction: I haven't read it (except the intro). http://www.amazon.com/Art-Seduction-Robert-Greene/dp/1861977697 What the intro says is there many types of personalities and seductive personalities. So if you're goofy, make it work for you. Don't try to be the Ryan Gosling (who by the way I've heard does not have nearly the charming personality that you may have, but yes if I were of a certain persuasion I would tota…

He shot up more than six people. (plus of the six people you mentioned, 2 were his roommates, and he stabbed them, did not shoot them, and one was himself). Feminists are less concerned about being randomly shot up than they are about the hatred, resentment, entitlement that fueled this guy

Sheesh, you really need to come out of your circle jerk and see the world as it is. He was fueled by women not noticing him or being repelled by his abysmal attitude. He was fueled by internalizing what one segment of society was telling him he had to lose his virginity by a certain age. He said he'd kill women in his last video because no one wanted to have sex with him. This was the reasoning behind his decision to snap. Finally, this guy was grossly (thankfully) incompetent. There were a lot …

He was targeting women, and apparently the only people who chose to be close to him, his roommates. He only killed one other guy besides himself and his roommates. His manifesto was against women. How many of the injured are women?

And focus less on physical perfection (I personally find that there's something physically attractive about most women) and more on personality.

I think your best bet is to focus less on the need to have sex (/u/aciman has it right), and instead focus on finding girls you're attracted to, use the material you've read on here to get the confidence to go up to them and talk to them, ask them out on a date (hang out), click with one of them and date (hang out with them), and then lose your virginity there. You're first time will be better if you're more familiar with 'em.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
