It isn't proper English and with the work environment I am in, people notice that sort of thing.

Just curious....are you from Western PA? I noticed the lack of "to be" after "needs" I lived there most of my life and have tried and tried not to do that, but still catch myself doing it.

I meant this solely as society will accept that it's just a movie trailer. If the roles were reversed...well they never would be. No one would create a movie trailer with it being a woman being raped and potentially murdered by two dudes. Maybe a movie with that happening, but never a trailer. The fact that the trailer shows actual rape is fucked up.

Sadly this will be acceptable by the majority of society....

Hello there...long lost friend? I agree with you on this. The second chart is misleading and makes it seem like mothers aren't important. I always find these charts to be inaccurate. I'd rather read a study or two that proves that there are issues with there being a lack of a father figure, etc etc.

I contacted 20/20 on the ABC website and sent them this "The article titled "Women Battle Online Anti-Women Hate From the 'Manosphere'" is one-sided. It only shows the bad seeds of the Men's Rights Movement. You could easily do the same thing for the Feminists. There are bad seeds in every group that exists. Unfortunately that is a fact of life. I am bothered that a Media company as large as ABC did not do more research on this issue. If they had, you'd easily know that Anita Sarkeesian is a bad…

This really isn't a worthwhile post for MensRights. A good post would be about a specific injustice due to a real issue that affects men. Such as how the military deals with situations of spousal abuse (woman beating a man), a case where a man is forced to pay child support for a child he didn't want and he was convinced by the woman that she was on birth control, etc. The only thing that this proves is that, yes, men do primarily take on more risky jobs than woman do...but that is all that it p…

I feel like that is debatable. No offense intended for the person on the far left, but I really don't think we can say for sure that it is a woman. I guess it is a matter of perspective in this case so that rules out my thought process on it being an inference to the "three" men. Either way, shitting wording and shitting stock photo.

Regardless of what it links to, it doesn't actually give 3 reasons in the ad itself, but there are 3 men in the picture. This ad is really fucked up and I really have lost respect for Microsoft Marketing because of this.

The image shows 3 men in it, at the top it states "Three reasons why we need more women in technology" and a tagline at the bottom stating "The world would be a better place if men thought like women." It doesn't actually give 3 reasons in the ad itself, but there are 3 men in the picture. This ad is really fucked up and I really have lost respect for Microsoft Marketing because of this.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Compare the original Microsoft Ad to these. The image shows 3 men in it, at the top it states "Three reasons why we need more women in technology" and a tagline at the bottom stating "The world would be a better place if men thought like women." It doesn't actually give 3 reasons, but there are 3 men in the picture. This ad is really fucked up and I really have lost respect for Microsoft Marketing because of this.

I apologize for my generalization, I should have stated I have often heard many women in my life say "Life is not fair because I am a woman and you have it so easy as a man" I've grown very weary of that sentiment and really hope that, the many people I have heard say or implicate that they feel that way, would learn that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

dafuq? No one here said it was gender motivated....that has nothing to do with it. Let's be honest though, he didn't get support because of gender though. And let's go to your point of "but there is racism against white people!" there is racism against white people. There can be racism against any race. How about you be a little more sensitive about what happened in this situation you sad sack of shit!

That is some sad shit...it isn't fair. You always hear women say how their life isn't fair because they are women and that men have it easy....does this look fucking easy?

Tell her, you're sorry she doesn't have a desk job that she can post jokes around her work space like this and that it is creating a hostile learning environment. She doesn't listen to you then...take it to the principal.

Thankfully, I made a mental note not to ever marry an asshole...no matter how attractive they are. Unfortunately I guess your ex-husband didn't, but hopefully he learned from you.

Someone downvoted you...I think they misunderstood what I believe you were asking. How many Men's Shelters allow family (primarily their children) to stay with them at the shelter? I think that's a great question and it would be interesting to know the answer to it.

Sad thing is....I don't want a divorce. I want the marriage I started 3 years ago. I want to be in a loving relationship like I thought I was in. I can only do my best to try and make things better at this point.

What kills me about this type of situation is that it is so one-sided. She can say 1000 times to your face she isn't in the mood, too tired, too emotional...and you turn her down one fucking time and she flips shit? If my SO ever does this to me...it will be over then and there as well.

I'll fill that spot! You're a saint for how you dealt with that! I appreciate you taking the time to try and get some sort of understanding with her on the matter.

Fucking A, why did he have to include that scene from Star Trek (2009)....I balled my eyes in the theater during that scene and now I am fucking do it at my desk at work. Seems to be a re-occurring thing for me these days....

Agreed, and this doesn't just go for rape cases either. I think that minors accused of stealing, assault, etc. should also not have their names plastered all over the news or in articles on the web. And that goes both ways too...boys or girls that are accused.

Alpha...Beta...who gives a shit! Step in, take the other man away from the attacker. So she starts attacking you...so what, don't be a pussy! Deal with it if that happens, but don't stand idly by and not protect someone who isn't able to protect themselves!
