1	Labels and definitions In which country did they get it seven years before women? And who voted before people voted? Rich men, not women. Women weren't allowed to own property in most countries. I have not heard that beating women was legal but does that mean it wasn't common? Neither was school illegal, but why then were there so few female scholars?
