All of those mandatory sentences are imposed when DUI, which she wasn't proven to be.

That's hersay that doesn't hold up in a court of law. You need to prove those things beyond a reasonable doubt, which is why she wasn't charged. She was given the maximum sentence allowed by her charges, that's pretty much it.

Where do you live that teaching doesn't require a college degree? In the US every single state requires a college degree, with many requiring post graduate work in education. Nursing at least requires an associates, and some nursing positions (registered nurse, nurse practitioner) require extensive post-graduate work, only short of becoming an actual medical doctor.

35% of children grow up in single parent households, those households are overwhelmingly without a father. There are obviously a litany of reasons for this, but you'd be hard pressed to find someone who thinks that not having two parents is better for a child than having them in most cases.
