You basically said that divorce isn't as bad as men make it out to seem and cited lack of dates as you get older as an example, which I am assuming you are saying this from a female perspective which is something to note because if so, you can't know that. You just can't. You don't experience the same experience at all. Its not even close. And you shouldn't run from what you say. You know what you implied and I know when people are trying to spin things. Words are fun. You can choose to say thin…

As in most women are? I agree.....ehhhhhhh :P Just a joke. Marriage is not for me. No need for the snark my dear. Just saying the comparison of not being able to find a date vs getting raped in alimony and child support don't really match up is all. Not even in the same universe of problems.

I'm not against dating, just marriage. I'm not religious and I don't see the need to ever bring the law into romance. And really? Oh older women have a tough time dating? Boo hoo. But they keep collecting those alimony checks tho so they don't have to work and he does until he is dead.. That kind of matter more than getting a date. And single mothers can get all the assistance in the world from the government. No one cares about the divorced dad giving up entire checks for alimony and child supp…

If you don't think divorce law in the US fucks men indefinitely then you are just being delusional. That's part of the problem. You don't want to be forced to examine scenarios where women get clear unnecessary advantages just for being women but can't wait to call a guy a liar just because he is a guy.

Jesus fucking christ.. Thanks man. You re confirmed why I don't want to and never will get married. I'm up for having a life partner, but I'm not legally fucking myself to do so. Everything I own will be in my name only and I don't want to have to kids so they can't be weaponized against me in case of separation. A lot of women are going to end up alone in the future because men aren't going to be willing to risk their livelihoods for a shot at marriage that usually ends in divorce them getting …

That's neither specific to men or women because I have seen both behaviors from both genders. Also, anyone who doesn't care why they feel bad will never resolve the issue so I tend to avoid people who avoid accountability. They always bring drama with them.

It means that someone is saying something profoundly stupid. Anyone who uses the word "alpha" for an ego boost is usually the most all talk do nothing goofball in existence and I tend to view them as such. lol So it doesn't really mean anything. Just a shit talking phrase from shit talkers.

Why would they need a thread when its been deemed socially acceptable for them to do that in real life at all times? lol

Lets see if I get married and it ends, even if she caused the entire thing to happen, I get screwed. So to me until laws change, marriage is off the table and everything I own will ALWAYS be in my own name. And after watching my friend and his ex break up and seeing her STILL take him for almost everything he had without even being married, I am losing my desire to date. Is sex really worth all the bullshit that comes with it? And that is just dating. When I look at the job market and constantly…

I usually do :P And I definitely fall into the anti-generalization category. I can usually see good points and bad points on most sides and try to offer different perspectives because I am one of those "thinks of all the angles" kind of people. I love diving down weird rabbit holes of thought even if it gets me in trouble lol That concept of "ours" makes perfect sense to me. I know that for me an equal partnership is what I desire. We both help each other out in whatever way we need to. If that …

Should I? I prefer to both listen to and challenge when necessary all paradigms and make people think beyond the narratives they cling to. It makes for better and more honest conversation and maybe even solutions to problems and actual understandings between opposing sides. It also catches me a lot of hate from all sides lol

No. If anything she used a bunch of men in the process of trying to win him over so I think she is the asshole. Those unnamed men she was under or top of to fill the void did not factor in to her feelings at all and that is where I get pissed off. Women feel like its ok as fuck to use men for sex like its nothing (because we just want sex and don't want relationships right? ...fuck off with that noise) and then feel spurned because the guy they wanted just didn't line up with them? Fuck this gir…

Well its actually pretty spot on as your original post is riddled with dated generalizations and assumptions based on what I would assume to be maybe a handful of encounters with guys like that because they are such minority in this world. You want a question answered by a majority of men who don't feel the assumptions you threw out there. What you want here? For all of us to agree that we want something we don't just because you want it to be true to fit your narrative of "all men"? Good luck w…

Seems like a bit of a generalization here. We live in a time where being a man doesn't automatically mean we are the ones making the money in the household. I feel concepts like this are really dated by like 20 or 30 years. Its why a lot of men roll their eyes when we read this kind of shit. When a guy says he doesn't care about how much money you make, or what career or life path you choose it means that he cares about you as a person and wants you to do what makes you happy in life. I feel lik…
