They should if they consent to it. If kids that have financial difficulty with a single parent get money, why is nothing done when they struggle with both parents, or none? It’s stupid. Still, if you want to pay, then do. But, no one should force it.

But, they won’t. A parent can provide by themselves, but everyone insists they can’t and it’s a constant annoyance that people somehow believe that just because the majority of people have both parents. In a situation where it is actually necessary, then financial support is required.

Because it’s the money of the person who owns it, not someone else’s forcing anything unless necessary is a terrible thing to do. Also, it’s not necessary for a child to live, child support is just stupid. Because of that, it’s a terrible thing to force someone to pay up when it’s manageable without it.
