That's such a bullshit argument that gets horribly abused. Oh you insulted someone so your argument is invalid.... No it's not!!! That's called emotion. And what you're doing is tone policing. If someone is genuinely mad at someone for legitimate reason, why should they have to pull their punches. It's been used against women for decades. They get belittled and dismissed in professional settings until they get upset then get called "hysterical" or "emotional" and completely dismissed entirely
