It shouldn't, but precedent and implicit bias often guides how cases are presented and ruled on.

I agree that it's not good to be overly dramatic about things but it depends on the hit. Any hard strike to the head has me thinking about the brain. I have no interest in any trauma to my brain. It's one reason, aside from my lack of interest, that I don't watch boxing or other MMA. Seeing people give each other brain damage makes me uncomfortable.

Also we have to curb the rampant power of all these elemental benders!

I honestly believe that all greentext stories are lies coming from the empty souls of /b/tards. They are amusing but they do not affect me emotionally. This person does not have real problems. The story is fabricated to grind an axe.

Ha. I just enjoy the fact that the poster above him in the chain made explicit reference to puritanism as a reason for such a belief, and then the next poster made a comment about feminism as though it were the sole reason. I'm also curious about which fallacy you are accusing me of? I'm curious. If not, well... enjoy the day! EDIT: I also realize i'm probably in the wrong subreddit ;)

You realize before feminists sex was made sacred by men too. One part of that agenda may have been controlling female sexuality. Your blanket generalizations tell us a lot about your perspective on this. I'd just like to point out that the idea that "sex is sacred" was not started by woman OR men but is an attitude which already exists in our society. Also, some feminists may be on the bandwagon you describe but hardly all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
