From the perspective of a man who married a younger woman who was very interested in being married: it can be a turnoff if you approach your dates with only the intention of interrogating them to learn if they meet your criteria, or if you have an elaborate set of expectations that you don't make any effort to communicate. This would be things like expecting the man to pay when you go out as opposed to splitting bill or discarding someone because they don't immediately respond to text messages. …

Look up Jordan B Peterson on youtube, listen to his lectures. Come to peace with your past, work to sort out your pain and put it behind you. You're not defined by the trauma you've experienced in your past, that's for special snowflakes that need the attention and validation provided by constant victimhood. Learn to bear responsibility and come to grips with your strengths and weaknesses. That will put you right and will be the first step in your journey.

I'll state my thoughts and let you consider whether they have merit. Why do you value retaining your virginity? To avoid being labeled a slut? Sex is a healthy part of long term relationships, and TRP doesn't look down on women who have had sex in the context of long term relationships (Low N count). Even if SOME people on TRP don't give sex in LTRs a pass, and fetishize virginity, the vast majority of society isn't going to fault you for sleeping with a long term boyfriend. What/who are you wai…

Loneliness is a terrible thing. The thing is, loneliness usually begets boredom. The old quote "An idle mind is the play ground of the Devil" is often very true. Loneliness and isolation can be productive. The inventor laboring away passionately in his lab, or the computer programmer hunkering down in front of his screen to produce an application of inspired genius - we understand this isolation as being passionate and purposeful. But without purpose, loneliness leads down a much darker path. So…

BP - They live in a different world, usually with very little relationship experience outside of their oneitis they latched onto in highschool or college. They then think they're qualified to sanctimoniously preach about how others should handle their relationships while having utterly no perspective. RP - While I identify as RP, the thing that bothers me sometimes isn't the anger phase. Anger is understandable. I dislike the bashing of academic disciplines - while being a firefighter or oilfiel…

Except sociology is often misused. Sociologists get their funding running controversial case studies that can be released in support of some political agenda. The mathematics of the field are not necessarily controversial but they aren't usefully descriptive of natural phenomena to very many people simply because hidden variables and systematic errors make predicting the future imprecise at best and laughably impossible at worst.

I think you're reading too much into this - there are lots of subreddits for posting progress/transformation pics. TRP also says that you can still be a supplicating BB if you don't have frame and self-confidence. Working out is just a basic part of building attractiveness.

Men are at their most attractive when they are young, otherwise known as highest "Sexual Market Value" or SMV for short. Except this is not true. Objectively not true. Would you date or even be attracted to a man who lives with his parents? What about one who can barely afford a car? What about one who works at the gas station? There's a reason you don't see these sorts of men with attractive, sane women. I'm not arguing that these people can't be physically attractive, or even have a successful…

You are correct but I think you're missing the context of these two pieces of advice. TRP and RPW both hold the following two tenets to be true: Women are at their most attractive when they are young, otherwise known as highest "Sexual Market Value" or SMV for short. A mans value in the sexual market place is not determined by his youth and beauty, but rather by his ability to provide, lead, and garner his fellow man's respect. Therefore, a man's value tends to appreciate with age after he has h…

While most of us welcome that you reject the current blue pill status quo. This is a place focused on the masculine imperative. If you'd like to discuss the desires of women in a red pill context, your contributions are likely to be better received on /r/redpillwomen.

It's important that your statement is qualified OP. TRP laughs at/scorns unmarried older women who choose to blame everyone except themselves for why they are unmarried. Excuses might include: 'Men are intimidated by my experience', or perhaps 'There aren't really any good men out there'... Really all of these excuses are made by women who rode the carousel rather than focusing on building a loving and stable relationship while they had a high SMV. These same women then attempt to shame men for …

Is there a subreddit for people who quote out of context? Or maybe for people who read what they want to see rather than what's actually in the post? Because you belong there, not here in a sub that encourages debate. My point was that beating is a moral action. And that it's usually a bad one. Either my post was written in Spanish, or you're just so desperate to be right you feel a need to attack anyone who disagrees with you.

That's literally what I said "If you want to debate the truth or falsehood of basic TRP principles, you can come here to a subreddit that is meant for that."

You can challenge a persons viewpoint, but the sub doesn't entertain the myriad of blue pill posters who would come in and try to start an argument over the veracity of the red pill. Would you go to the Christianity subreddit and post a bunch of links to articles about how everyone who believes in Christianity is dumb/mentally ill? What about the other way around? It's annoying and off topic to the primary goal of the subreddit. If you want to debate the truth or falsehood of basic TRP principle…

Do you just make things up and hope they are true? No one is banned for simply for challenging viewpoints. I would not be surprised if you are banned however considering you have yet to support any of your claims with evidence beyond your own rhetoric and seem to be obsessed with painting everyone who argues for the red pill as being dangerous self-obsessed sociopaths. That might fly in other subreddits where the circlejerk is on your side, but here you actually need facts.

That's a ridiculously thin limb to stand on. You think because some people in the red pill are angry at popular culture for presenting a blue pill narrative that everyone in the group is a bunch of narcissists incapable of personal responsibility? That's a staggeringly awesome leap of logic. I'm actually in awe. The crux of TRP largely revolves around taking responsibility for your own life, not making excuses, and going after what you want in the world. All of that requires honesty with yoursel…

Are you asking for examples of blue pill behavior? If so I would direct you to the TRP front page and have you filter. Or maybe you're doubting that popular culture influences our behavior and mating strategies? All you have to do is look at other countries - China, Japan, India, Scandinavian nations... - to see that dating behaviors are overwhelmingly influenced by the culture around you. Just google "dating in <insert country>" and you'll learn all kinds of things. And I disagree with you. Par…

I roll my eyes at this because inevitably these are the inflammatory statements people latch onto. Beating is only amoral in the broadest sense that it's morality depends on context. Is it moral to beat a person you love? No, I don't believe so. Unless it was consented to, or some extraordinary circumstances are in effect. Is it moral to beat the robber who broke into the house and held your family at knife point? Perhaps. Beating is a discrete action, and it's pretty easy to characterize the mo…

I think you're being overly pedantic. Red Pill courtship would be defined to be "The set of male behaviors that express attraction which women on average actually respond to favorably" On the other hand, Blue Pill courtship is "The set of behaviors that express attraction which popular culture and common convention teaches men to believe women will respond to favorably" Note that blue pill courtship by definition is not driven by results nor evidence, rather tradition and social convention and p…

Sounds like you have a mixture of self loathing mixed with despondency and loneliness. That's a dark place to be in. I have to agree with some of the other advice, changing your mindset is the only way out of this pit. Forget the idea that there is one woman for you or that you'll find fairy tale love. All of that is a dream. Focus on calming your inner self. Now perhaps some of that confidence could be built up externally. Are you fat? Learn how to eat healthy, simply cutting out soda and walki…

I think you're obsessing a little too much over something that is outside of your control. Self improvement and a stoic worldview are very important to TRP. No one is advocating giving anyone a pass, but there is no point in nurturing petty contempt - in the long term anyway - over natural behaviors you cannot change.

Possibly so, I think it depends a lot on the regional culture. Though you might make that argument for anything. You also probably want to look at teacher's of earlier grades (k-6) rather than high school teachers. A women who makes it her job to look after and essentially raise all manner of small children needs to have a very patient and nurturing outlook on life. Doesn't mean they won't gossip, but it's not easy to slip militant feminism into today's grade school curriculum, unless you're hel…

I can actually shed some light on this. Teaching is a very female dominated profession and women often work long hours with little chance to socialize. Many schools are often located in socially disadvantaged areas. This combines to make it very difficult for women to date within their social circle - most men are taken - and those who aren't are usually very undesirable. There is also a lot of pressure on these women to set examples for their students so a wild social life is usually discourage…

Hey, first off, best of luck to you and your relationship. As for your situation, I wanted to offer a little insight into the flip flopping. I was engaged for a time, and while I was happy and enjoyed myself, I did find myself regretting that it meant my freedom to be young and to be with other women was essentially gone. In the end, the engagement was broken off for sad but unrelated reasons. I've used my time since to be young and date and see other people. I suspect your SO is feeling some of…

Agreed, nothing wrong with stripping that down to 'a deep personal relationships with a partner/small group of partners' Children seem optional, but you still see most monogamous couples, heterosexual and same-sex, either adopting or raising children eventually.

OP, coming from a person who tread the same path I will say that you are not doomed. A few words of advice though: (Disclaimer: Personal experience incoming) I recommend avoiding women in CS. They're often painfully aware of how special they are and you'll be competing against a large pool of applicants. Disregard this advice if she is coming on to you. That said, your odds are still best if you stick within the harder sciences - though philosophy and anthropology aren't bad bets if you can find…

They make little to no effort and love the power that comes with game, they love that we introduce ourselves to them, that they get to say yes/no from the start, yes/no to a date, to a kiss etc. They hate when they see a guy they've liked for months hookup with another girl, even when this guy would have probably given them a chance if they didn't expect him to be psychic. You're giving me flashbacks man.
