I'd like to point out that this was written by the Daily Mail, a right-wing publication. It says so right in the image.

Except other comments have already proven that not only does the New Testament allow justification for silencing and oppressing women, but that historically and even in the modern day, many groups of Christians have used loads of different verses of the Bible to justify subjugating women. Just because you feel like current Christians don't do this doesn't mean it hasn't happened. But feels before reals, I guess.

Are you actually saying that in the entire world, not a single Christian wants homosexuality to be punished by death? And that those Christians who do want gays to be executed are Muslims as if the defining factor of Islam is wanting to kill gays. Are you actually that dense?

That's funny, I had always heard that if one person's speech was taken away, it would all be taken away, and that there's no middle ground to free speech.

It's kind of interesting how nobody is complaining about the erosion of free speech in this instance.

They did post the logs Funny how you weren't asking for proof that he really was doxxed and lost his job, but when all evidence points to the fact that it was a hoax and you just got duped, suddenly you're Sherlock fucking Holmes

Well, I've never encountered any of that with feminists that I know. A woman who hates men isn't a feminist because she hates men, that's like how the term alt-right refers to both standard Trump supporters and the actual Nazis who created the term.

I don't know how you got that from reading through the subreddit. Whether or not you want to be a bitch about life is on you. You can decide to make yourself better, or you can decide to be a coward and blame women.

Feminism isn't about hating men, it's about the rejection of gender roles to benefit both sexes. For more information, go to the MensLib subreddit (I'd link it but the comment would be removed by automod).

"The Media" An unknown blog with one like on their tweet doesn't really constitute "the media" to me.

How's this for a source? But I guess, when faced with something that undermines your previous beliefs, truth becomes relative, huh? The organization who ran this (fake) pronoun program said it never happened, so that must mean they're covering it up even though they, having run the program in the first place, must have believed they were doing the right thing. You are a fucking coward. Stop being a bitch, man up, and admit that you're wrong.

Here it is, everyone. This is how people rationalize absolute bullshit to feed into their worldview despite being told by the university itself that the story is completely made up. You'd think that if they were running this campaign, they'd be proud of it and wouldn't deny it, right? Yet they still did, and you're still looking for reasons to be offended about this propaganda. Shameful shit. Have some self-awareness every once in a while.

My point is that it's dumb to get offended over it. Getting offended over this is stooping to the level of those you're against. You may think it's "showing off a double standard," but you're still getting offended all the same. For another example, someone was recently saying Castro raped hundreds of women over his lifetime. I'm not a Castro apologist at all, but when the guy was asked for a source, he said "Shouldn't you just believe the victims?" like he caught me in a "gotcha" moment. The th…

But you understand that pointing out hypocrisy by doing the exact same shit they do and claiming to be against their methods is hypocrisy in itself. Look at what this thread is. It's a post by Trudeau saying a super harmless statement regarding parents teaching their children about boundaries and consent, and this subreddit got offended over it and is now arguing against it with semantics. I'm against a lot of the "new" feminism going around, but I also can't take this movement seriously when it…

I go to a relatively big college in the South and I've had to take three different online "don't rape" classes, as well as several single-day lectures about how rape is wrong. It definitely happens.
