It's not as effortless. You have to put work in to it. Everyone is on different schedules, so it'll help to broaden your social circle and make new friends. Since college, I've been going to a lot more parties filled with people I don't know. I never realized how great it is to go to a gathering where you know almost no one. I was only counting money I spent on her. One beer at the bar was 4 dollars, one beer at the comedy show was 5 dollars. All I did for dinner was chicken cordon bleu and marinated asparagus with banana fosters for dessert.
