That's what I meant

I think the point is that "not being nice = being an asshole" which at the very least lacks nuance

Fair point, I'd add that we wont be able to move forward and do public actions if we can't even be peaceful and descalate conflict on the internet, for these are necessary skills for the field trip. I hope you can see I'm not shiting in MRA's heads, I'm just pointing out what I consider ineffective/inappropriate behavior from our part

Both. I can understand their valid complains and sympathize with how hostile are the reactions to someone who needs help, but the presentation of their issues are whiny (this perception of mine is not reserved to this sub, twoxcromossomes have extremely relevant issues, and still all they do is whine) PS: English is not my mother tongue, so maybe whine is not the most appropriate word to describe what I mean, but I think it comes very close to it

I am disappointed at the tone of revenge some recent posts have, for one. Although I regret not being more supportive of the pains my fellow homies go through, often because of a woman directly, their cries are frequently all thorns, no fruitful commentary and become little more than whining

Well, as a left leaning, admirer of second wave feminist and MRA Warren Farrel, I disagree with many a thing within the movement

If we as a movement want to be productive and achieve something that will benefit society we need to go the extra mile and descalate conflicts, stop feeding trolls and have a reasonable civil discution, don't you agree?

You being pissed in the internet won't fix shit. MR have a serious PR problem for specifically this reason. We need to be better then hissy girls and elevate the debate instead of indulging in a piss contest.

What, you want actual character development to some eye-candy?

I don't like the term because it is not crystal clear, as I do not like the term feminism as referring to egalitarianism. I much preferer something like "terse feminism". Being anti-something is semantically combative, which make us look like reactionaries.

The situation was already tragic, it was very low of her to add cruelty to it

It's more likely to be reverse psychology, but I kinda like it implying abuse is not only a male's felony

Would someone mind explaining? It seems like a cultural thing by the comments, I just don't get the context

I can agree with you with this, I'm certainly not going there, since I'm fucking Brazilian, and it is indeed a small point to argue over, and we have a whole school of 8 ft long rabid tuna to fry, but this is one punny little shrimp that snuck into my underwear right now. (Sorry for the sea analogies, I've just watched Finding Dori)

Yea, I agree it is a small thing, and I'd bet it was setup this way cuz of logistic restraints, but what bothers me is that man are being expected to be ok with sharing their space with women. Likely, women won't use the neutral restroom unless the exclusive one is completly occupied, and from my experience, women go more frequently and in larger numbers to the toilet than men, and spend more time in them than men, that's my reasoning... But fuck it, dude! Make a larger women's bathroom, add som…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
