I got in a fight in middle school that was pretty bad. Guy was making fun of my clothes (we were pretty poor, I usually had on hand-me-downs) and I had enough. We beat the shit out of each other in front of all of recess and when the teachers showed up everyone stayed quiet. I didn't even try and get him in trouble, never mind sue him. We had already resolved the conflict.

Public schools are not private property, they are government property owned by the public and more or less public property. Furthermore, even if you were right about that premise (you're not) it would have to be one of the persons in the video that is requesting it to be deleted, the school has no authority to speak on their behalf. Just asking him to delete the video is a first and fourth amendment violation.

Personally I think the amount of cases like this that are coming up just means the age of consent needs to be lowered to 14, 15 or 16.
