There should definitely be a different process when reading "empirical" evidence and "anecdotal" evidence, and this needs to happen automatically in your own mind. One experimental observation may fly in the face of the law, but it does not change the law in and of itself. Keep this in mind.

I could definitely be wrong, but it's been my understanding that the universities are the ones dictating policy to the US government through the populus, not the other way around. Just my 2 cents. I think it was on darkenlightenment that I read that it was on a 20-40 year delay approximately from campus to caucus. edit: second bit added

I'm reminded of Law 38: "Think as you like, but behave like others." As far as I can deduce, I'd have to agree with Archwinger. Giving the default, expected social response to the compliment in public (to people you are not trying to fuck) should be just fine. On the other hand, the "feel-good" rush to the brain that GargantuaBlarg described is probably an excellent red flag for new guys like me to stay humble and remember exactly for whom we are doing all of this.

Where I'm at, unmarried men who have children have zero rights to their child unless granted by a court. Plus they still have to pay. AFAIK, I could be wrong. In the end I agree with the fact that live-ins are most definitely NOT the same as married spouses.

Let's say that you want to start a new hobby or activity. What do you do? You just show up there. The sole part of showing up is the trigger of the change. You wake up and do it.
