Exactly. My parents were the same. I moved out finally at 24, after finishing school. Many years later, at 44, ended up moving back during very rough times. Stuff like this is why I don't want to be a teacher or have anything to do with kids. Years ago, my dad & I used to help my old High School (private school) with their school plays. Agreed! When I was a kid, my dad would work 6-7 days a week, 12hrs a day, just to provide for us. Even in the 80s when he wasn't making as much, he & my mother would go out of their way to make it seem like everything was "ok". I remember for one Xmas, I got a new stereo. Speakers wrapped separately & individually, just so it looked like I got more than I really did. I and my sister got a few other things, which he had to borrow the money from grandfather to do. Then paid him back next payday.

I personally know of a very attractive 23yr old single Mom of 2 kids who gets no child support. Basically she doesnt work & collects welfare. Call me a bit 'paranoid' but I'm considering buying a small personal body-cam. Something inconspicuous to wear, for when interacting with office women. I found a few on Amazon that might do the trick. Since my shirts I wear have a pocket, I also thought about having my phone in my shirt pocket, discreetly recording all interactions. With the screen off, of course. I figure, if we can have dash cams & doorbell cams, might as well wear a body cam too.
