As a woman, hearing another woman saying this is outrageous. My husband was unemployed and struggled for a few years shortly after we moved in together. I was able to cover expenses and we were fine. I would never once think of asking him to pay me back now that he/we are doing much better. I feel bad for her husband. 99% of women would not consider this.

My husband and I have twins. He is half Filipino, I am very white English/Canadian. One of the twins has darker skin and hair and looks like him, the other one is somehow as white as I am with blonde hair and only some slight Filipino features. I am actually worried that this might happen to him one day while he is out with the one child who looks nothing like him. He is so in love with being their Dad, I know it would break his heart if it happened. What is wrong with people?

People give us looks sometimes, like I know they want to ask because they are clearly the same age or at least very close in age, but completely different looking kids. I've actually had a few people express disappointment hearing they are twins and then finding out they aren't identical - its very strange!

Lol though we joke, he most certainly is. This particular son's twin brother looks like dad, they both came out like mini versions of us.

My husband is 1/2 Filipino and Ive very white british background. One of our twins somehow came out looking like a mini boy version of me, very little features from dad, he even has light blonde hair. I have a fear that someone will do this to him when he is out with the one kid who doesn't actually look like him. My husband is 100% my parenting partner, I would be so infuriated.

thats what Im wondering. Im not at all defending these women, but what part of the accusations, if there were any, was true? What did he feel was so damaging and not fixable that he felt like suicide was his only answer? Im confused.

I grew up with a good majority of the men in my family showing very little emotion or affection. And I only grew up around other girls, there weren't any male siblings or cousins. It made me think that men didn't feel the same way as women, or didn't want affection the same way. It wasn't until I started seriously dating in my 20s that realized that men and women feel the same emotions and want the same affection. I'm ashamed of the way I viewed men growing up, as unfeeling creatures who only wa…

I agreed with every word of what she wrote until that last line. Nope.

Ok but you clearly said they werent conscripted. They were. Im not arguing that they weren't on the front lines, but don't say they weren't conscripted. If you are going to start a debate, do it right.

See this is what I mean. When you get to the point of hating women for being women - thats enough. I absolutely dont support that, the same way I absolutely don't support women who hate men for being men. And that is all I will say to you, because you are clearly set in your views and no amount of what I can say will change that. Im sorry you have chosen to live your life with such hate for people you dont even know.

From thiswikipedia article: Women were "drafted" in the sense that they were conscripted into war work by the Ministry of Labour, including non-combat jobs in the military, such as the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS or "Wrens"), the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF or "Waffs") and the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS). Auxiliary services such as the Air Transport Auxiliary also recruited women.[23] In the early stages of the war such services relied exclusively on volunteers, however by 19…

Absolutely. But I will refer you to this reply I made. Also, the argument isnt about stopping conscription, its about female characters in a video game about a subject that mostly involved men. You might want to read this about women being conscripted to war before you get so up in arms about this topic.

Honestly, and Im sorry if this upsets people, but its a video game. Its not a historical textbook. Yes, I will agree that the creators shouldn't be marketing it as historically accurate, but getting yourself worked up over this seems silly. Pretty sure most people I know still very much respect and admire those who went to war, and this video game will more than likely not change that. It doesn't have that much power, as much as you think it might.

I dont care if the characters are male, female, or a three-headed frog. Do I like that I can now sometimes pick a female to play, unlike having only male characters when I was growing up? Sure its cool. Is this an actual problem that needs to be solved on either side? Absolutely not. I dont care what side you are on, how about we fight for quality games without fucking lootbox shit, instead of getting worked up about what gender our characters are? EDIT: Sorry to expand on MRM, yes I am a suppor…

The methods that SOME women use to abuse their boyfriends everyday. I know many woman would never treat their SO like this, myself included. How can you possibly expect to have a healthy long happy relationship with someone you respect so little that you treat them like this? Not to mention, its a horrible way to treat anyone.

That's exactly it, they try to romanticize it like that would be totally ok in real life. There is a big underlying problem of pedophilia in the entertainment industry, and here they are trying to make it sweet and loving. Ugh.

I was recently reminded of the whole story line from Dawson's Creek where Pacey slept with his teacher multiple times. It really surprises me how Ok everyone was with that (including me watching it at the time). Like wtf people?

Im curious how "I get to sleep around but I've decided you don't get to anymore and if you aren't ok with that I'm dumping you" is not manipulation from him?? Everyone involved in this story clearly has some serious personal relationship baggage and issues.
