1	After a great first date, girl wants to be “just friends” I think what OP is looking for, is WHY did the girl seemingly show romantic interest in him the night they met, and then why did that completelty dissipate during the date that he subjectively believed went well? It seems to me that the first "reg flag" was when he asked her out, and she seemed "a bit surprised". 3	I've been a lurker in this sub for over a year, and while there has been good content, a video recently posted by /u/jamestusk2017 about rejection is absolutely CRUCIAL viewing for anyone who's remotely serious about this. It should be stickied. Here's why: This was a video replete with "rejection", only if you assume that every girl that stated she was in a relationship or engaged, was lying. Notwithstanding the fact that women will use the "boyfriend" line as an easy and fast way to turn down a guy, I believe that the vast majority of the women were telling the truth in this video.
