I think in the sidebar you can try asking for the time to get you started with talking to girls(or people) with a reason. To be honest it actually isn't too bad. Try to give yourself a reason to talk to her, for example you might think her hair is cool cuz its red, or her dress looks nice yada yada w/e. Get rejected and learn from it.
